I agree to an extent. Both genders have certain privileges and inequalities. By definition, I wouldn't say either gender is oppressed. I think that's a strong word not reserved for any group that lives in the West. I don't agree with the OP. The title is misleading. The draft was ruled unconstitutional, but the ruling was only declaratory. It did not specify any action that the government must take to comply. So no, women aren't being forced to sign up. This means that Congress needs to respond with legislation.

OneY is the male equivalent subreddit to TwoXChromosomes. I'm not sure why TwoX became default. Perhaps it was some sort of PR move for Reddit to attract more women? I know it was an unpopular decision in TwoX. Many users unsubscribed because there was an influx of new users that changed the community. Voices were now dominated from the users from /r/all. I think OneY will also be hurt if it were to become a default subreddit. A lot of people on Reddit just don't care for/oppose the MRM.

Trump needs to fuck off on this issue. The practice is unconstitutional, and it mostly targeted Black and Hispanic neighborhoods. If he doesn't take this back, it won't help the POC vote. Definitely doesn't help when he is accused of racism. So far, non of the candidates seem to be beneficial for the MRM. I'm leaning towards staying home on election day.

When someone commits a serious crime, especially sexual assault, that person should be striped of their parental rights. It's sick she is getting slap on the risk because she's about to become a mother. Fathers would have been punish accordingly. It's time for society to recognize male victims of sexual assault, and give the same punishment to female offenders. Well at least she has to register as a sex offender, which shows progress.

Just because some parts of the movement (certain feminist organizations and extremists) have fought against the progression of the MRM, that doesn't mean all feminists don't care about men's issues. I feel somewhat positive for the future of the MRM. Even though we face oppositions and many people are still unaware of the issues that effect men in society, the men's movement has grown exponentially these past years. You can always volunteer in organizations that help men. They don't necessarily have a align themselves with the MRM, but their services should help a lot of men. I used to volunteer in soup kitchens and homeless shelters. If you are not into that or have problems with time management, you can donate to organizations that help men.

Not really a great accomplishment if we are celebrating that one gender is doing better than the other. It is good that more women are going to college, but we need focus on encouraging more men to go to college to get an education. The gender college graduation gap is only going to get bigger in the upcoming years. What concerns me is that people will see this and think this is equality and a great victory on the empowerment of women. But this definitely isn't equality.

You have to consider that your application/request to create a men's right club might get rejected because although our movement may be small, it's controversial. Many people don't want the MRM to succeed. Ryerson University recently rejected the request for the creation of the Men's Issues Awareness Society without giving a reason. They are trying to fight it and become a club or at least be given the reason on why they were rejected.

What the hell is wrong with you? Attacking feminists is not a productive way to spread awareness on men's rights issues. If anything, you are giving people more reasons to dislike us.
