Absolutely, I totally support calling out pickme and coolgirl behaviour as it is damaging and we need to be aware of it. But hating on people, not behaviour, is where it draws the line for me...

Does he spend the entire weekend (every weekend) ignoring literally everything around him (from household chores to children begging him love and attention) because "his games are on" and that's his biggest priority? My father, ladies. Worked his 9-5 so didnt have to bother with anything else - despite my mum also working a 9-5 and raising two kids and a manchild.

My grandmother had her brother and husband die before she turned 60, leaving her with no relatives except her children to support her. Even if you do trust men to support you, chances are you'll end up alone anyway - men tend to die younger than women.

Ever since I bought my own tools I've discovered that all the traditionally male "handy" occasional jobs like fixing furniture, working in the garden - all the dirty physical work - its super fun! And the best bit is its all project oriented, so once you're done you're done. No boring daily chores like housework...

We absolutely are constantly rejected. Not only in relationships, but almost every time we walk into a male dominated space we have to work and prove ourselves more before being considered acceptable. We're guilty of being a "useless" woman until proven innocent.

Totally agree! Thanks for sharing :) I think part of my initial issue with FDS was the terminology - 'high value' and 'low value' does sound like we're going for money above all else, which buys into the gold digging stereotype. This alienates people from the true purpose of FDS - to help ourselves find partners who will go to the effort of treating us with as much respect and care as we ourselves will give them.
