A non-answer is just an answer with extra steps, so thank you for that.

What's your height preference for guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/26 04:23 PM

However, when someone is single for a long time. Like many many years. It's obvious that person is single because of their own actions or lack of action. How tall is your husband?

Are you serious? For every 'positive' comment about short guys there are several thousand that are hateful instead. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here.

What does "postgender" mean? Is there anything about your 'boyfriend' that we should know?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 03:47 PM

Women absolutely make it their hobby to harass short guys online. I know you don't notice it because you, like all women, couldn't possibly care less about short guys. There used to be a twitter called "exposingheightism" that collected tweets from people saying the most vile, hateful shit imaginable about short men. And they were almost exclusively coming from women. There are also a million social media posts on /r/shortguys and again, almost all of them are coming from women. I know your whol…

Congratulations, you're barely considered short and are taller than most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 04:52 PM

You might have a point, but the simple fact is that entire subsets of men (primarily short men) don't ever get the chance to 'bond' with women in the first place.

I doubt us Canadians feel differently than you or anybody else about it. I guess the difference is that prior to Carney, we had Trudeau. I don't hate him as much as my fellow Albertans but you really can't overstate how much damage he did to our society and culture. Here's an article a few women wrote about him. In 2015, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters he chose a gender-balanced cabinet “because it’s 2015,” a sentiment that resonated with Leftists and feminists. Trudeau sho…

I like how her idea of researching why this is happening is asking a couple of her guy friends who are clearly in a completely different situation from the average guy. One of them says it's because guys only want sex, which is an anecdote I'm sure the author loved to include. Apparently none of the guys she talked to even mentioned the fact that all of these poor women showing up to singles nights have already written off the large majority of men based on their height or salary alone. No, inst…

Turnabout doesn't work on guys when it comes to height preferences. A handful of us care about being taller. Absolutely not comparable. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=895442 I don't expect you to actually read that, but it's there if you want to fact check my numbers. Here is a quote directly from the study: Consider a man who is 5' 2" tall. In order to be as desirable to a woman as a man who is 5' 11.5" tall and who earns $62,500 per year, he needs to have an additional inc…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 08:57 PM

Nobody "has" to do anything and I am convinced you're not making an effort to understand what I'm saying. Women love tall guys and either ignore, actively dislike, or end up settling for short guys. This is known. This is reality. My argument is simply that short guys need to accept this in order to find an attainable goal in life that doesn't involve women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:22 PM

We define the word differently. To me, shallowness is when you prioritize completely meaningless physical characteristics over everything that matters. You can justify it all you want but it doesn't make you any less shallow. I have a shallow requirement too: very short hair. Can't stand it. I think it looks terrible.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:18 PM

"taller than them" is a great thing to hear for average height guys, but I don't care about them. I'm talking about guys who are the same height as women or even shorter. "Oh yeah he's perfect for me in every way but he's exactly the same height as me and therefore in to the bin he goes. I'm so open-minded!"
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:10 PM

I'm not sure what you're arguing here. All I'm saying is that we should stop lying to short guys. Women should embrace their inherently shallow nature instead of trying to obfuscate it. This would free up a lot of mental space in the minds of short men who are pursuing a pointless goal.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:53 PM

I didn't say anything like that. Women are incredibly shallow when it comes to height and that's a reality we all have to live with. I don't think it makes them "horrendous"...just predictable, and dishonest about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:50 PM

That's a surface level comparison and there's absolutely no comparison to height and pretending otherwise is silly. But yes, "oh well." Which is kind of my point. Short guys deserve to know what women really think about them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:37 PM

lmao just read through a certain thread asking for women's preferences and 99% of them demand taller guys I'm going to give them all the benefit of the doubt and assume they're not the ones piping up when someone mentions how height is the most important thing to women. Meanwhile women in every other sub lose their goddamn minds when someone reminds them how incredibly shallow they all are. At least here we can expect honest responses. Credit to where it's due. Never stop reminding younger short…

Scott's takes are very hit-or-miss and I'm getting a little tired of seeing his face, but in case anyone is wondering, the tldr of this article is as follows: tough shit, you baby bitches. The author even has the gall to use the term "revanchism" with absolutely no hint of irony. A girl I knew in grade 12 had a big ol' sloppy crush on me (apparently...I was not aware). Before I was even given the chance to do anything about it, she cornered me at a house party and told me (while crying because she was a drunk teenager) that she wanted to go out with me but her friends kept telling her not to because I was "too short." A much less embarrassing, but similar scenario happened to me in university. This time it was a 20-year old woman that wanted to make sure nobody knew she …

The older I get, the more I believe that there are fundamental differences between the ways men and women think that can’t be explained away by society or culture or any other external factor. I don’t think we even love the same way. Women love their children and parents deeply, but I don’t think they can truly experience romantic love the same way men do. How could you even argue that when the large majority of women would rather hump a piece of splintered balsa wood than be seen with a short m…

I posted here earlier this year about what I thought was an STD I picked up from an escort in Japan. My family doctor and the first dermatologist I saw thought it was syphilis or potentially herpes. Turns out it was actually a rare-ish skin condition called lichen planus. Google images will show you the worst case ontarios, but thankfully I only had a few spots on my wrists and feet. Here's to another 20 years of transactional intimacy!

lmao There is no such thing. Check this thread out. These girls are self-proclaimed "forever alone" and almost every one of them has a height requirement. Fuck 'em all. Here's another one. Feeling sorry for "forever alone" women is the dumbest thing you could possibly do. They're wallowing in a pit of their own making, whining about not being seen as attractive and in the next sentence whining that tall guys don't like them. They don't deserve an ounce of your pity or respect.

Even if I believed that you don't engage in this behaviour, pretending like it doesn't happen is also being extremely disingenuous. Every group of girls I've been involved with since I was a teenager has talked about this openly. High school, university, both summer jobs...completely different groups of girls, same conversations. Women aren't comparing your kneecaps to someone else's kneecaps. Or your pec size to someone else's pec size. And they certainly aren't comparing your dick to someone else's dick. Oh, come on. Do you really expect anyone to believe that? Are all the women on reddit that proudly exclaim they'll never date another short guy because …
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 05:05 PM

Well, yeah. You act like every insecurity is unjustified. I don't think it's unreasonable to be concerned when every part of your body and performance is being compared to your partner's previous experiences. How often do women become insecure when they find out their boyfriend's ex was thinner or prettier than they are? It's a natural human reaction. The difference is that guys rarely get the same privilege, which is why they should broaden their experiences. Again...the past is the past, right…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 04:40 PM

But if most men don’t ask how do you know that women lose their shit if they get asked? 😂 True...I'm using reddit as an example here. I browse misandrist subs like twoxchromosomes and askwomenover30 and this pops up quite frequently, and the overwhelmingly unanimous response to this question is "this man is worse than gutter trash and you need to dump him immediately." Holy shit, I just took a spin over there and immediately found this thread. But yeah, your relationship is probably the most com…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 04:05 PM

I've never asked, either. Most guys know it's a relationship-ender. Doesn't mean we don't think about it. And of course you never kept track. That's kind of the whole point. The only way guys can level the playing field is by paying for it. If you're going to be mentally comparing every guy you sleep with to the dozens that came before, we should get the same privilege. Besides, the past is the past, right? As long as you're both STD-free, what does it matter?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 03:47 PM

FACT: Most women sleep around when they're young. FACT: Most guys are incapable of doing the same thing. FACT: Women go apoplectic when confronted about their "body count" CONCLUSION: As a man, it is your duty to see as many escorts as you can afford. When (or if) you eventually find a woman that you want to love and cherish forever and ever amen, you don't have to feel insecure about the aforementioned facts. Oh I definitely wanted a real relationship. To be honest I had lots of opportunities before that but I blew every single one, and I was tired of being the only guy in the world that hadn’t had sex yet. Then I tried online dating and I was basically filtered out from the get go, so I just kept going back to the escorts.

After starting my career, I only had dating sites to rely on to meet new women in the city I moved to. /r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 08:36 PM

That's what I figured. Thanks for being honest.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 08:10 PM

No, typically they rank them on how they think they'll be perceived by other women or strangers. If they think they'll get teased, the guy goes into the bin. Pecs are nice and all, but the most important thing they consider is "will my friends make fun of me?" In your case, I'd have to know a few things. You’re right, some do tolerate short men when there are no other options available. I shouldn’t exaggerate like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 05:13 PM

There are a few men like that, sure. But I don't think I need to tell you how most guys have a very wide range of attraction and a little bit of belly fat is not only tolerable but preferable to millions of us. Whereas there are no women that actually prefer short guys, or even tolerate them, and fat guys are also completely invisible unless they're really tall.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 03:50 PM

Most of the sacrifices you mentioned are ones done for the family, or specifically the kids. I think a lot of women view their husbands/boyfriends as sperm vectors that they have to tolerate. But even more than that, just look at what women demand from the men in their lives. Women have collectively decided that short men are undesirable because our heads are a few centimeters farther away from the sun. For that reason alone, women won't even give us a chance to prove we aren't subhuman. Guys ju…

That's such a dumb term, but if you're referring to extremely unattractive women...they don't want us either. Also I'm unfortunately not ugly (just short), so an experiment I ran many years ago made me lose the drive I had to find someone IRL. Ended up dating someone for a few years but it fizzled out, along with my drive to find someone else. Back to escorts I went!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/25 10:02 PM

There's are many more types of guys that see escorts. Some of us have full and genuine respect for escorts as human beings, but regularly see them because we're too short or ugly for you or your friends to consider us in the first place. So we keep seeing escorts because that's the only type of physical intimacy we can realistically expect in our lives. Just to be clear, I don't care if this is a dealbreaker for you or others. Any Chinese fellas here? I've been watching a lot of videos on the youtube channel "China unvarnished" and aside from their burning hatred for short men I was completely blindsided by how casually they talk about brideprices. Words are much more powerful than many people care to admit. As long as feminists continue to use the word “patriarchy” they will continue to come across as adversarial and sexist towards men. They can come up with all the excuses they want about why it’s an appropriate term, but getting rid of it entirely is the only way forward if they actually plan on making a positive difference in the world.

I'm not participating because I'm not one of the guys you're complaining about. I find girls of all shapes and sizes attractive, but I'm short so I'm as invisible as the women you're referring to. I just thought it was funny how you asked guys for something and only responded positively to the girl that reaffirmed your stereotype.

Hypersexual women are just normalsexual men. They're obviously just upset that it's only women and tall men that can actually make use of their libidos. But then again I don't know anybody that has a problem with "hypersexual women" so this might be just another you thing.

I'm going to do something different today and give a full, honest and true accounting of all the girls that have shown interest in me in my life, in spite of my severe height disadvantage and deep seething bitterness. Elementary school: One girl, grade 6. We "dated" for a week, which was the style at the time. Junior High: One girl, grade 7. She was very popular and very pretty. We "dated" for a few weeks until her friends convinced her to break up with me. High School - six girls, grades 10 to …

Everyone has a different coping mechanism. Some are healthy, some are not. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings here, but when I think of someone that champions therapy, I think of someone that really likes talking about themselves and being affirmed in one way or another. I think many guys know what their problem is, and also that talking about the problem isn't going to solve anything. How many times have you heard women complain about the guys in their lives, when presented with a problem, …

/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 10:23 PM

This week I found out a girl that works in the same office as me has (or had) a “very big” crush on me. I’m nearly 40, she’s just under 30. The kicker: a few months ago I overheard her having a conversation with the girl that told me about this supposed crush and a few of the new engineer hires. I was sitting next to her at a safety meeting so I had no choice but to eavesdrop. She emphatically stated that she could “never” date a guy shorter than her. So this same girl now has a crush on me appa…

Tips for seeing escorts? Find a site that reviews the escorts and make sure you’re not getting ripped off. CAF in Canada…dunno what other countries use. Always use a condom…obviously. Japan was amazing. Too hot and humid to live there though. Hokkaido is much better in that regard.

I doubt I’ll see any more escorts to be honest. Too old and tired. Escorts don’t reveal it about themselves and just make all their clients use condoms to be safe. Almost all of them have it. It’s a calculated risk we all take. It’s on the border between painful and uncomfortable, but that only lasted a day or two. Apparently the first outbreak is the worst as well. Jerkin it is possible but not recommended lel

I don't disagree with you, but just so you're aware, elder millennial women (my age) were just as shallow about height as younger women are now. One man provides her stability, resources for her children, and a veneer of social validation. The other one provides her with physical intimacy and/or love. Tall gymbros have an infinite number of options and are much less likely to settle down with a wife and children, but they're the only ones women are actually attracted to. So if a woman actually wants children, she will at some point have to make a choice: find a nice and safe guy and do her best to "build" attraction to him over the years…

Most guys are lucky to find one girl out of a million that is (ostensibly) attracted to him. /r/PurplePillDebate20/08/24 09:29 PM

lol, the large, large majority of sex with escorts is vanilla. Yes, there are some that provide 'advanced' services but they are very much in the minority. I've been seeing an escort every month or two for about 18 years now, and I still prefer the vanilla stuff. We're not all degenerates...some of us are just short.

Whenever I want to doomscroll I'll search for "height" or "short" in various subs. It's a good reality check. But one thing that just occurred to me is that most of the women that claim to like short guys are probably in their 20s or older. I guess at some point after high school they had a "come-to-Jesus" moment where they suddenly realized that short guys aren't subhuman filth. I'd be really curious to see if there have been any recent polls or studies on preferences for high school students. …
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 08:39 PM

I'll never advocate for leg lengthening "surgery," but the reason guys do it is because most women don't consider short men in the first place, regardless of how great they are at skiing or whatever. Women are literally a monolith when it comes to short guys, and I literally mean that literally.

I have legitimately made (casual) friends with several of the escorts I've seen over the past ~15 years. If they're very strict with their clientele, it can be an incredibly lucrative career. One girl I know owns two houses in two different provinces. Obviously there are downsides too, but the myth that literally every woman in sex work is being coerced or is in the direst of straights is simply false.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 08:50 PM

It's always the uncut guys that seem to get to upset about it. I think they probably heard that some girls prefer the cut variety and got very insecure about it. It's not that big of a deal, guys. I'm pretty sure the practice as a whole is dying out except in certain religious circles. Myself and every other guy in my location & generation were cut and we're doing just fine.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 04:59 PM

My life experience wasn't typical either, thanks to some lucky genetics and a lot of hard work (when I was younger. I'm a fat old man now.) But the percentage of women that don't see us as consolation prizes (at best) really is incredibly low, and there hasn't been a study or survey on this planet that challenges that fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 04:37 PM

There's plenty of self-hatred there (mostly from the younger guys), but the rest of us are just older realists. Turbocharge that autism and read through these links. "Complaining and bitching" is unproductive, but for most short guys, entertaining the delusion that anything but a tiny minority of women respect and/or want to be with them is just as much a waste of time. Also for fun, I recently asked a very broad question about physical standards at /r/askwomennocensor. Have a gander there and s…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 04:18 PM

For every one of you there are a hundred more that have a default negative opinion of short guys. I'd totally agree with you if the statistics weren't completely stacked against us. It obviously depends on the person, but most guys I know prefer knowing the uncomfortable truth to living in delusion, which is what you have to be to expect a good outcome as a short guy in this day and age. My only concern with dating a short guy is if he thinks I am less desirable for being a tall gal, and if he's…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 04:26 PM

Women on average are absolutely, unequivocably not attracted to short guys, and that's kind of my point. I'm going to dump a bunch of links here for anyone that's interested, but suffice it to say, all the evidence in the world points to height being the absolute number one priority when it comes to women. “Don’t bother about going to the gym, don’t bother about putting on new flashy clothes… be tall” - BBC Documentary on speed-dating The top word men are drawn to in online dating is "love." Sometimes I fantasize about being a spy or professional thief. Specifically, someone that infiltrates white-collar businesses that employ mostly women. I could use my invisiblity superpower (being short) to access any room in the building, including occupied offices. Unlike Lupin, my calling card won't be a literal calling card. I'll just adjust all the thermostats to a reasonable 21C and then extract myself before the patriarchy (air conditioning) freezes everyone.

I also went recently and I agree with everything you said. Tokyo was incredible but by far my least favourite stop. Too many tourists. Too much trash (from tourists). Everything was more expensive. Oh, and far too fucking hot and humid. I'm Canadian goddamnit...I must've lost 10kg from sweat alone.

Huh? The app didn't work. That's kind of the whole point. The cheating scumbags that signed up for it wanted to cheat, but most failed miserably.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/24 09:50 PM

women don’t want to cheat as much as men lol, come on now. The reason is simple and it's right there in the top response. Women don't need an app to cheat. Men do. The exact same gender imbalance exists on regular dating apps as well, and it's not just because men are the only ones desperate for a relationship. Most women don't need an app to help them find a fella.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/24 02:08 PM

This is a fundamental, biological, and evolutionary thing. You're basically asking for "examples" of elaborate mating rituals displayed by birds-of-paradise. We've evolved to use more complex mating rituals, and are capable of understanding and using deception and empathy to aid us in finding a partner, but none of that changes our instincts.

Libido is a funny thing. I spent a few weeks in Japan, and near the end of the trip I saw an escort from Shinjuku. /r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 08:54 PM

My understanding is that the "standards" you're referring to are just weighted differently. Traditional women would (ideally) value traditional markers of success (wealth, power, etc) more than other things like...I dunno...how much time they spend volunteering in Cambodia. Anyway I'm just a spectator like you. I don't personally think 'traditional' women are any better or worse than their counterparts.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 08:50 PM

Truisms don't need citations.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 08:43 PM

I don't agree with that mentality (all women hate short guys, left or right) but I think the idea is that 'traditional' women would at least adhere to 'traditional' sexual/romantic norms. As in, they still have high standards but they're not fucking a new guy every other week like most young women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/24 08:38 PM

In developed countries, the average working time is therefore usually significantly shorter than in developing countries. However, there are exceptions. These include countries such as South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan which still have comparable long working hours despite high incomes. Also, based on Japan's proximity to my country (Canada) in that list, I really don't think these statistics are accounting for all of the unpaid overtime as well as obligatory (but not officially counted) nightly…

Exactly what I was thinking. As long as everyone is being worked to death, it doesn't really matter how long the schools keep kids locked up. I was referring more to the communities that formed on reddit, which were a hell of a lot more reasonable and the only ones I'm familiar with. I remember browsing the female cel subs years ago. They were just as hateful and delusional as their male counterparts. I specifically remember a thread that was about dating preferences, and it was full to bursting with "forever alone" women that wanted nothing to do with short guys and were offended that people would even expect that of them. So no, that isn't reality. Even the ugliest women think they're too fucking good for short guys.

I was thinking about what makes shounen manga/anime so appealing to guys, but not so much to girls. One of the most common elements is the "progression" of the characters. Guy gets beat > guy gets stronger > guy gets beat again > guy gets stronger, and so on. They got real obvious with it in DBZ where your strength could be summed up with a fucking integer. Almost all of the most popular shounen stuff can be boiled down to that (DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, etc). Now I'll admit I'm not familiar with med…

I'm not from America and I think you're probably a lot younger than me, but yes, bullies absolutely exist. They're not as obvious as they are in movies and TV shows. Kids are a hell of a lot more clever and devious and subtle than cartoon characters like Biff Tannen.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:23 PM

Obviously exceptions exist, but we've all been through high school. We've all seen countless numbers of tall, attractive assholes getting away with murder. We've all seen the benign, milquetoast (but incredibly friendly) short and/or ugly guys get bullied for simply existing. Is every attractive guy a bad guy? Of course not. We know that well. It's women that struggle with that particular reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 06:06 PM

I understand that, but what I'm saying is that if height was only a minor (or even medium) factor in overall attractiveness, women on OLD would at least let them stay visible. By filtering them out completely, they're quite literally saying that they don't even want to entertain the slightest possibility of dating a short guy. And no, I really don't think guys would use a cup size filter even if it was available and free.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/24 09:46 PM

I'd like to believe you, but the most popular filter in OLD is the height filter, which means that the women that use them (the majority) aren't even capable of seeing shorter guys. I remember when Bumble (or Tinder...one or the other) started locking the height filter behind a paywall, and women absolutely lost their minds. There is no equivalent in the other direction. You can say that because women are spoiled for choice, of course they're going to go for the tall guys. But that's exactly my …

The difference in that comparison is that while big assets are viscerally arousing to many guys, those same guy's physical preferences shift with the tides and are instantly replaced when they fall for a girl that doesn't have them. At no point will he think he's "settling" for his dream girl even if she's as flat as a 2x4. Its' existence, coupled with suicide statistics, should be an indication that short guys really are being treated like absolute shit by other people and that it's not just one or two girls on dating sites. It's almost all of them, and it's a daily occurence...especially when they're in school. That said, the guys that actually go through with it are already broken mentally. Might as well break their legs too, on the off chance it'll make a difference. That's probably their mindset, as fucked and…

DATING TRICK FOR SHORT GUYS I know she's just saying what most women are thinking ("don't bother trying to date us until we're old, you worthless short idiots") but as far as platitudes go it sure is annoying. It's hard to even address this without getting accused of...something. But the simple fact is that we (men) are the most desparate for companionship when we're younger. Everyone (men AND women) is more attractive and more energetic when they're younger. That's not controversial, is it? So …

Love is a chemical reaction in your brain, and we already have thousands of weirdos out there that have clearly 'fallen' for inanimate objects and fictional characters. And they're just the ones that are crazy enough to admit it publicly. But yeah, I do think most of us wouldn't be able to truly love an android in the same way we love other humans. But for a lot of people having an affectionate, warm, "loving" companion is better than nothing at all.

I reckon everyone has the capacity to knowingly fall in love with an android. The only thing that's different from person to person is where they draw the line. There are people out there today that want to (or have) married sex dolls. Their line is right in front of their noses. For me, she would have to be comparable to Ana de Armas from Blade Runner 2049. Yeah, it also depends on where they are. Ontario and BC for example barely have accents and that's coming from another Canadian. People that grew up in the prairies or in the maritimes are much, much more obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 04:37 PM

You're looking at the wrong demographics. Younger kids are basically little Americans. "Famous" Canadians probably haven't lived in Canada for decades and they simply lose their accent. Look at Mel Gibson for example. When I went to Vegas the first time, I sat down at a bar and said one or two words to my friend. The guy next to me immediately goes "You guys are Canadian, aren't you?" But yeah, the kids are all carbon copies of each other.

Shaving is a pain in the ass. It's just easier to only have to trim it every once in a while. Another reason: I shaved for the first 10 years of my post-facial hair life. I tried every razor, electric or otherwise, but could never prevent ingrown hairs and razor burn. It made me look like I had cold sores or acne all the time.

There is a strong correlation between male height and suicide. In fully adjusted models, a 5-cm increase in height was associated with a 9% decrease in suicide risk In spite of what the liars and exceptions say, most women want nothing to do with us, and most of us short guys will come to terms with that at some point one way or the other. It's pretty simple, really. We (short men) cannot provide the social clout that comes with dating taller guys. We cannot be an accessory to show off to their friends, family, and social media. I'm sorry to inform you, but if you're a tall guy that does not get attention from women, there is something else about your appearance that is scaring them off. Either you stink, or your clothes have more holes than fabric, or maybe you've got one of those Friar Tuck cuts, OR maybe you're just incredibly ugly. Women will trip over themselves to snatch up tall guys by virtue of them being tall. You'd have to be exceptionally unattractive for that not to be the case.

Women want to eliminate all the barriers between them and tall guys. Height filters are the easiest way to do that. Nobody is saying porn is ‘necessary’. That’s just the straw man modern feminists have invented because it helps them justify their desire to police the private behaviors of men. There's an ocean-sized difference between how men perceive big boobs to how women perceive height. The former is a kneejerk biological response that makes precisely 0.3% of a difference when considering overall attraction. Just don't pretend like your fetish is any different from guys like me that only want to date Japanese/Korean/Chinese women. I'm just a slave to my "biology" after all.

I think of those women as height fetishists. When you refuse to so much as glance at a guy because he's only a couple inches taller than you, that's a fetish. If they don't want to admit it's a fetish, then they better not be saying anything about the guys that exclusively date East Asian women, or girls with big feet or whatever. Preferences are malleable like plastic, but height fetishists are a solid block of iron when it comes to height.

I'll take your word for most of those things since you appear to be a lawyer or lawyer-adjacent. First point - fair enough. I didn't know the prosecutor offered them an out in the form of a manslaughter charge. They shouldn't have, but they did. Just another example of our broken court system working on both ends by prioritizing monsters over normal citizens. Second/third points - these are details that don't matter to the victims and their families, and are just more evidence that our system is…

A few years ago a man in my city murdered a woman he didn't know by stabbing her, walking away, then walking back and stabbing her again. Prosecution tried for second-degree murder. Court gave him manslaughter. 7-year sentence with time served in remand at 1.5x rate (for every year you spend in remand, you knock off 1.5 from your sentence). Long story short, the guy was high on meth (of course) and aboriginal, which means that he will be out in a couple years. And yes, that's literally the reaso…

I sometimes fantasize about creating my own support group for short guys. Something like the YMCA, but we are much more strict about who we allow in. You would have to identify as a man, but you don't necessarily need to have a wanger. You would have to be actually short relative to your country's national average (i.e. only those below 5'7" in North America). It'd be a tough-love kind of support group, with emphasis on the 'love' aspect. We'd admit to them that yes, the average woman in the 21s…

What are the best kinds of clothes to wear as a fat guy in a hot, humid place that wants to blend in (as much as a white guy can in an east Asian country)? I'm not trying to make myself look appealing. I just don't want to advertise myself as a human sweat-puddle to everyone in a 100-meter radius. RULE: No gray or white because I'll be too self-conscious about the gigantic sweat stains on my back and chest. SECOND RULE: no moomoos (I'm not that fat)

/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/24 04:04 PM

My city has increased the fee for fast food paper bags from 15c to 25c. What happens is that at the end of each order they now have to ask you if you want a bag. If you say no, they handbomb every item to you. If you say yes, the restaurant pockets the extra 25c and points to our stupid fucking city as the culprit. Most drive-thru menus have some kind of passive-aggressive warning with which they try to deflect the ire of the customer to the city instead of themselves. Even the most die-hard lef…

Link Gen Z/Alpha short guys are so fucked. At least when I was a kid, I could imagine a fantasy where the girls at my school were unusual in how much they hated short guys. Kids these days don't get that luxury, and I'm genuinely worried about them. Young, short guys and terminally ill kids are the only 'strangers' I feel any sort of empathy for at all, these days.

There is no such thing as "full recovery" when it comes to limb lengthening. That's an understandable belief if the guys are Johning it up while also pursuing women the normal way. We’re talking about women in their 30s here for crying out loud. I’m in my late 30s and I’m just as…excitable as I was in my early 20s. I’ve always only ever been attracted to women my own age, but if this is what I have to look forward to, I’m starting to think I need to expand or shift my horizons. That thread is seriously eye opening in a very scary way.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 04:19 AM

But nobody is saying that. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here. Most of those women seem to be just as surprised and disappointed in the change as their boyfriends and husbands.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 03:04 AM

That thread is full of women claiming they had no problem with their libido at the beginning of the relationship. How is a guy supposed to know that would change? What kind of compatibility test is there for that?

Thinking of getting another escort when I head back home after Christmas. Should I see: 1. A middle-aged woman that will get high with me and let me stay for longer than an hour 2. A Puerto Rican woman with big ol’ fake titties that calls me papi and is genuinely passionate in bed 3. Roll the dice on Leolist (this is my least favourite option although I have been very pleasantly surprised in the past)

I've done even dumber shit than that in the past. One time I brought a bunch of weed to a work party and the one girl that literally everyone was in love with made it very clear she wanted to thank me in private, and I pretended like I didn't know what she was talking about. Another girl I worked with called me from a club once to drive her home, and she started talking about this secluded spot she knew about outside of town. I drove her straight home. About seven years ago, I went to see an escort from Quebec that was visiting my city. She was staying at a townhouse with another escort. She gave me the wrong unit number though, and when I knocked on the wrong door, this tall girl that obviously looked nothing like the escort opened up. All you have to do is look at what matters to women when they want to start a relationship. Almost every girl on the planet requires "my height or taller," which means that an otherwise perfect match with a guy just a half-inch shorter than her is a complete write-off in her mind. That kind of tremendous superficiality simply does not exist with men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 03:48 PM
2

What are your most sexist opinions? Women: Incapable of romantic love. They can become infatuated if the guy is taller, richer, or otherwise beneficial to her perceived social status. They are absolutely capable of familial love however. Men: Get angry way too easily and lack impulse control, which leads to an unfortunate number of dead teenagers and young adults. We get addicted too easily and to far worse things. There's no blame to be assigned here. I believe we are all victims of our biology…

Does anyone else curate an imaginary, but somewhat-realistic world in their heads? I've been doing this for nearly 20 years. In this world, I'm making enough money so that I don't have to work more than a few days a week. Women don't hate short men, and I'm dating someone that doesn't have any specific physical features but is always enthusiastic about our relationship. I'm able to live in my hometown close to my parents, who are in perfect health, and I have two small dogs (one beagle, one shib…

Here's what would happen: The government hires a consulting firm, which in turn hires a company with advanced facial recognition software (such as Amazon). The consulting team gathers all the data they can from the legitimate research we've done about what constitutes an "attractive" face, and tasks Amazon with creating a program that can determine these features from high-quality faceshots (of which you'll need multiple for each person...angles are important) and then apply an arbitrary number …

People can adjust, but only when faced with extreme resistance. Almost every guy using a dating app today will tell you how awful the experience is and how rarely they actually work. Even in spite of that, they keep using them because the (traditional) alternative is even harder. And I'm not even going to get into how much more difficult it is to deal with real-life, face-to-face rejection versus the mostly-anonymous variety. Anyway you're allowed to be an optimist. The world needs people like y…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/23 10:47 PM

That'll happen just as soon as people stop using fast food and porn. The apps are here to stay, for better or worse worse or worser. People are no different than an electrical current...we will always take the path of least resistance even if it means we end up short-circuiting.

People who bear their entire set of teeth while smiling are weird and annoying. The top lip naturally curls up so seeing the top set of teeth is perfectly normal. You have to make an effort to do the same with your bottom lip. I've also only seen guys do this. I'm not one to bet against the home team but you guys need to stop doing that. You look stupid and you are stupid.

Nah, he's completely wrong in every way. If you want to be both romantically successful and a psychopathic murderer, you have to be very good looking. Women aren't attracted to dangerous and broken men...they're attracted to dangerous and broken men that they can show off to their friends.

"Psychopath" was just me being pithy. "Emotionally stunted and/or damaged" is probably a better phrase to use. Don't be so upset, lady. It's just my opinion. Dogs are wonderful, hilarious, trusting, and loving friends that humans have treasured for as long as we've had written records and probably longer. When someone says they don't like dogs, that speaks to a fundamental glitch in their brain's emotion processors.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 10:47 PM

Not wanting to have a dog is fine. They're a big responsibility. Actively disliking dogs, on the other hand, means you're a psychopath.

It's always been an attractive feature, but only relatively recently has it become the main physical feature that women care about. Nowadays, it doesn't matter if you're compatible in every conceivable metric but height. You're fucked before she knows so much as your name. Men are now just accessories for women to show off.

Guys lie up, girls lie down. The short guys claiming they're having nearly as much success as tall guys and women are the same ones that are adding 2-3" onto their dating profiles. I'm aware that this was a pretty rigorous study with a lot of participants, but when it comes to anything sex related, every single data point is untestable and unprovable. And they will remain so until people allow researchers into their bedrooms, or they start calling up participants' sexual partners for verificatio…

I think it's true, but I'm a short guy and only slightly biased... Who cares, though? Women can barely muster the energy to acknowledge short men exist, let alone be worthy of their attention. We can think they're shallow, and they can continue not giving a shit about what we think.

Your heirarchy is correct, but you're still kind of missing the point. Men 100% absolutely definitely find tall women attractive, and there's a mountain of evidence to back that fact up. There is not a woman alive that prefers short men, only tolerates. It's a difference in degree, not kind.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 08:08 PM

This is projection. If there are guys that actually think that way, they are the minority. Women are the primary vectors of height fetishism. Are you attracted to short men?

Absolutely! I'm a bit too old to subscribe to the "pill" lexicon, but I came to these conclusions many years before "pills" were a thing. I think it entirely depends on the person, though. Obviously. A good argument can be made that this worldview is harmful to certain types of people...especially younger guys. It's amazing the lengths you're going to to dismiss this incredibly straightforward statistic. Does speed dating not exist in "the real world?" Is it too contrived? Why is it any more contrived than joining a club to meet women, or approaching them at the bar? Our entire culture is contrived. Why do you get to dismiss speed dating as a legitimate indicator of what women value in men? Do their brains get swapped with shallow puddles of muck temporarily? Do they emerge from these speed dating even…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/23 04:43 PM
5

It's a loaded word and pretending it's not is just being disingenous. I agree with the heart of your message, but people only use that word when they want to imply that they are superior to the people they're not attracted to. And we're specifically talking about physical attraction here, so your other examples aren't really relevant. If she is rejecting men based on their physical appearance alone, then she obviously has no idea if they "can't meet her needs."
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/23 04:31 PM

I know using that word makes you feel better because you're a raging misandrist, but it's not "settling" when an average woman refuses to date an average man. It's delusion and an inflated ego. The only winners in this situation are the guys she's ignoring. So you're partially right. It's definitely good that she's not wasting their time.

What kind of advice will they give that isn't already known (and ignored)? I'm not sure why you're bringing Chad and Stacy and Jack and Diane into the argument. I was responding to your claim that men care more about height than women. They don't. Short girls, ugly girls...they all care. A lot. The obsession some short guys have with their height comes from a lifetime of interactions with women of all shapes and sizes and levels of attractiveness. Anyway like I said, I was only responding to your initial claim that men care more about height.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 02:51 PM
1

I see that point made a lot. To put it another way, women find slightly taller men "acceptable" at best, and anyone the same height or a little bit shorter is completely unacceptable. Whether it's filters on OLD or IRL, those guys may as well not exist. This is why we say women care more about height. Far, far, far, far more than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/23 02:37 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 02:40 PM

Definitely don't lie. You'll be an absolute loser if you do, just like every other guy that lies. I'm saying this as a 5'5" guy. Women hate short men and tricking them into a date is both unfair to them as well as pathetic beyond words on the guy's part. Just because women want nothing to do with us doesn't mean we should debase ourselves like that. Be honest. If you're worried about women assuming you're even shorter, say something like "Actually 5'7"" or something like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 02:34 PM

It depends on the guy. If he has, historically, never had a problem with finding sexual partners, then he has only himself to blame for ED. I'm more concerned with guys who women typically want nothing to do with. I have a great amount of sympathy for them and I think they are treated extremely unfairly by women. If they manage to find a girlfriend after years or decades of loneliness, in my humble opinion, they should at least be given a chance to fix their habits (and therefore their sex lives…

I don't know if OP is telling the truth, but those types of guys are the ones that do the best with women. They're also the type that women complain about on OLD. They're able to "partake in society" because women flock to them, get upset about being mistreated, and then continue to completely ignore and insult short and ugly men all the while. No sympathy for anyone involved.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:48 PM

How often a woman farts indicates if she's fucking Chad or not fucking lmao How can you take that sub seriously? It'll just get banned anyway, just like every other remotely similar sub. Like I said, the difference is that twox still exists in spite of the fact that 99% of its content involves actual, genuine hatred of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 03:01 PM

Those subs are generally pretty good. I think the biggest difference comes from the "fringe" subs. twoxchromosomes for example. That sub is quite literally dedicated to hating men, and making an equivalent sub for guys would get you banned from reddit as well as eight countries IRL.

Eh. I’ve heard that I’d be a great boyfriend if I was just a little taller several times in my life, and the matches I got on OLD before inputting my height tell a much different story. Oh and the fact that almost every woman will list height as her #1 personal preference is kind of indicative as well, isn’t it? I know people hate talking about this, but the simple truth is that us shorties are inherently unwanted. It’s not a minor preference that some women have, it’s the biggest one and by a l…

For short and massively unattractive men, it’s the only pill that offers a realistic explanation for the way the modern world works. It can only be a good thing to know how women perceive you, even if that reality isn’t ideal.

I’d just like to drop in with another spicy hot take… It is my firm belief that 99.9% of straight dudes would not be affected negatively by inappropriate touching. I believe a significant majority would actually like it. I’m not talking about extreme examples (rape) which are obviously inexcusable. Myself and every guy I’ve known has been bad touched by women multiple times in our lives when we were young (teen and early adult years). I remember each moment fondly, and so do they.

I've never asked anyone out that didn't clearly express interest in me first. All other things being equal, I'd ask the shorter girl out first simply because in my experience they're more open to short dudes. I don't find them more attractive than tall women...just more receptive. This myth that tall women are more likely to appreciate shorter guys is frustrating. I'm not red, but I'm about 99% sure you've misunderstood the meaning of AWALT entirely. Like with every single generalization in the history of language, "AWALT" is just a tool to understand the kind of behaviour you'd expect on average. I'm not really defending the term, especially considering using the word "all" seems almost intentionally misleading, but that's how I understand it.

A woman's idea of "being interesting" these days seems to be based exclusively on the vacations they go on. As if literally every other tourist in the world isn't doing the exact same things they are. Congratulations, you went on a zip-line somewhere in South America. That doesn't make you interesting...it makes you a consumer, just like the gamers and homebodies you so loathe.

I have no personal experience with this, but it seems fairly obvious to me. Pride. Consider that men are expected to wade through a depthless sea of rejections ("polite" and otherwise) for every tepid success. Until women actually make an effort to empathize (lol) or try to turn things around (lol), guys are going to do whatever they need to do to keep their sense of pride and dignity above sea level, even if that includes petty shit-talking.

It boggles the mind that some women try to deny this. I wonder if they're only saying that because they don't want to acknowledge how tremendously advantageous it is to not be slaves to one's sex drives. Women can't know what it's like to be a horny man, and obviously vise versa, but it takes only two brain cells and at least one functioning sensory organ to know that "one of these things is not like the other." The average person is neither a 24/7 rave party MDMA addict, nor a basement dwelling gamer. The average woman can toss a fuck to anyone she sees as soon as she walks outside of her apartment. /r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 07:51 PM

Because...they are? That's the whole point. They're literally the "participation ribbon." Just try to imagine yourself as the guy in this position. Would you be fine dating or marrying a guy who rejected you when he was younger because you weren't good enough for him at the time?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 07:31 PM

The definition of "fun" is subjective, and I'm sure you know this. There are millions of people that don't need constant sensory overload to make up for whatever vitamin deficiency or hormonal imbalance that causes perpetual restlessness and impatience. Being an extrovert isn't 'better' and it certainly doesn't require any more "creativity". That's just a lie extroverts tell themselves because they think they're superior to introverts.

I meant it in the deeper sense. FDS promotes the most misandrist and cynical ways of manipulating men to get what women want. Do you tell the men you're dating that every single action you take is a calculated variable in an equation that is meant to maximize your own happiness?

It's pretty simple, actually. The average guy has to slog through a hundred brutal rejections for every success, tepid or otherwise. Women will never understand what that does to a man's sense of self-worth. Or for someone like me who is quite short, I know for a fact that most women will reject me based on that alone, so I'd much rather be shown that tiny list of women that, bless their beautiful hearts, aren't as shallow. At least then when they reject me I'll know it was for something that ac…

Again, women are the ones that only have time for the top 2 out of every 10 men. Men exhibit a nearly perfect bell curve when rating women, but the same cannot be said for women rating men. Most men would be perfectly happy with average women, but average women are just as picky and superficial as their more attractive counterparts. Because they can be.

Men and women are equally entitled. The only difference is in the outcome, and that is per-determined by our biological differences. Women are just as unreasonable as men, but they don't experience a fraction of the difficulty average or ugly men do. If our brains (and sexuality) were the same, there wouldn't be such a tremendous difference between the experiences of men and women. I thought even women accepted those stats. I don't know how valuable your anecdotes are, to be honest. I'm older than you and I remember that initial stigma as well, but it hasn't had that reputation in a long time. The stats are incredibly useful if you're a man. If I had known I would be invisible to the large majority of women on that site (and others) because of my height, I would never have tried. I lucked out and got some dates and a LTR out of it, but I am definitely the exception. Dating sites are a loser's game for most guys, and the stats are absolute proof of that.

Thanks a lot for your response. I didn't try to make my post about porn addiction but I guess it was kind of inevitable. I think most people struggle with empathizing with addictions, let alone 'weird' ones like porn. And yeah, it is definitely worth it to 'hold off' every once in a while. My ex and I used to take week-long trips with her family in a place where intimacy was impossible, and the day we got back was always hilariously more...fulfilling.

I know, but sex can still be performed even if the girl isn't enjoying herself (not that this is ideal either, obviously). The analogy only makes sense if it's as catastrophic to the basic act of coitus as ED is.

Actually this is about women wanting to control how a man uses his dick, as espoused by TBP. This isn't about guys (with girlfriends or wives) experiencing ED that may be caused by excessive porn use. I'm only on their side if they're making real efforts to curb their addiction.

Thank you for this response. You brought up a point I've seen a few times now about alternatives to porn, but I think there's a problem with that. This whole ED pandemic is a) not an exact science, and b) basically unheard of outside of reddit. If guys learned in school that jerking it too much and too hard was going to cause a malfunction in their dicks, they'd probably be more careful.
