3	My Take on the Question of Indians and SMV It's not a matter of being mentally ill. It's a matter of culture. Everybody sees he world through their cultural lens. This does not necessarily mean that a person is mentally ill since we then need to define the correct way to view the world. In Sweden it's considered "good" to work on your tan during the summer for Both men and women. It's just a cultural thing. I don't think it's about self hate. I can't even count how many times a girl have walked up to me in a bar or in the club saying they want "brown kids" or "your skin is so pretty".
