You better have a vasectomy if you’re fucking around with this girl.

Agreed, but that’s why I quoted what I did. That’s literally all you need to say. I lean spectrum ish and have slept with a few women saying just that. In fact I got more attention than ever saying that. I said that to the woman I’ve been seeing this whole year and she got me hooked lol. And yes there’s all kinds of other social things required that are kind of stupid but sometimes you can surpass those with decent looks and just being a good dude. Other times you make simple statements like the…

Women definitely will hook up with guys who make it clear that that’s all they want. “I’m not looking for anything serious.”

Again, I’m not arguing that being attractive isn’t a solid baseline for women being attracted to you. No one here is. You said being friends with women won’t help you get other women. That’s false. That is my only point.

Making friends with women absolutely does help for reasons listed above. Meeting their friends and having preselection value are both a big deal.

In general I take the view of long term being far more valuable too. But something I’ve learned over the last couple years is that only looking for casual actually opens the door for more opportunities for long term. At least for me. It’s probably just in how I carry myself when I’m not looking for a girlfriend. I walk around in my day to day life as though I don’t need anything, but I’m open to women coming into my life and happy when they do. Takes a lot of pressure off of me, and anyone I may…

One take away I had from some escapades last year: casual is something I’m totally okay with, but I better make sure I see at least some long term potential with women I see casually. There’s a multitude of reasons for this, not the least of which is the potential for accidental pregnancy. But it’s nice to spend time with someone you actually care about and adds value to your life outside of sex, even if it’s just a short term thing.

This is so incredibly context dependent. Dates screening for a relationship, or good time… mistakes in a given situation might be perfect in another for either situation or both. As an overall general point, I think too many go into it tense and with expectations. A first date should only be a fun opportunity to get to know someone new. Any expectation beyond that in most scenarios is a mistake and puts pressure on you and your date.

Oh it definitely takes it to another level. Sometimes I don’t wear headphones at the gym, and the amount of guys that just openly talk about being on something is pretty surprising. Most of them are on testosterone, and few are messing with other stuff which is probably a good thing. I will say though, I think many of these guys are shooting themselves in the foot by not doing some of the basics right. That or their genetics are crap. But maybe 25% or so just don’t have surprisingly good physiqu…

Something a lot of guys don’t want to admit is that most of us can get where the trt guys are at naturally. Or at least damn close. It takes years of consistent hard work though. You don’t get to just show up to the gym and kind of aimlessly move weight around for a few months while eating more protein and expect game changing results. That’ll work to built a good foundation for the first 6 months, but not much longer. At some point in the first year you have to start dialing in all the variable…

One of the things that no one wants to hear but is largely true is that it’s just a combination of finding your style and practicing it. Mine is a little unconventional yet conventional in the sense that I’m truly being myself. But I’m just a goofball. I let a version of the 5th grade class clown side of me out. Incredibly childish yet PG behavior. That and I listen a lot and ask a lot of questions, and then focus on things about her that are truly interesting to me. Also come back around to thi…

If you have legitimate diagnosed social anxiety and get prescribed a med for it, that’s a different story. But I personally wouldn’t supplement much outside of a multivitamin and vitamin D. Only other things I personally use are creatine and whey. Will this supplement help you? Maybe. But I’d doubt it’ll be any kind of game changer. Some of the best advice I could give you is to just talk to people (men and women of all ages) without any motive of anything happening. And if that person happens t…

It depends on why this matters to you. If it’s coming from a place of genuine curiosity and without judgement then just ask. If you’re asking for any other reason then it’s probably not a topic you want to broach.

I was going to say bring your best dick game to one of her good friends, but this is probably better lol. I’ll never forget the recent time I had with a woman who wanted me but was so so on me at the same time. My friends had tipped me off previously that she was into me. They also said she seemed pretty wishy washy about it half the time though. Okay. But I’m sure you can agree that attraction to someone changes as you get to know them. An 8 can go to a 4 if you start seeing ugly sides of their personality, and a 5 to a 7 if you start seeing amazing sides of their personality. All of this and how each person ranks others is entirely subjective and up to the individual. None of it is beholden to my standard of what certain ranks mean, or your’s.

As an aside that’s tied to this larger point too: I’d much rather have the 5/10 or 6/10 girl who’s pretty cute, loyal af, and genuinely excited to be with me over the 8/10 or 9/10 who’s hot and cold but sticking around for whatever the reason is (looks, status etc) I know a lot of men will disagree here, but there’s a lot of men out there who feel the same way. As we’ve gotten older and had more experience I think a pretty large chunk of us feel the same way. And I’d argue that the same applies …

Depends on how the date went with her friend and what you all said afterwards. Did you plan another date with the friend? Sleep with her? Decide amicably that you both won’t see each other again. I feel like all of the plan hinges on this. Even then, she might wonder why she was second choice after her friend. And they’re definitely going to talk about it right after you ask her out.

I feel like the only way to sidestep getting flaked (at least to a very large degree) is social circle game. As common as flaking is, it’s still looked down upon and if you want to stop seeing a friend of a friend then manning up so to speak is actually the best and easiest option. I’m talking to a friend of some friends right now, and she’s dope. Definitely into me and I’m into her and all that, but there’s been moments in us talking where I’ve identified that I likely would’ve been ghosted if …

The best thing I did was to start going to the gym, lifting, and getting a higher volume of signals often enough that it became pretty easy to spot. If something is happening to you all the time you’ll notice. If something is rarely if ever happening how are you going to properly identify it?

Or you could just switch it up randomly on some days. Or if you generally go m-f switching it up to take Wednesday off in favor for Saturday or something. Imo if you’re switching your routine in the hopes of meeting women you’re doing it wrong. At least in regards to the gym, simply because your priority with the gym is fitness. If she’s offering an alternate day, and that day and time actually works, then why not? She’s putting effort in and that’s a good sign in my book. Things come up in life. The way I like to look at a situation like this is that she was so excited to meet up with me that she forgot her obligation to x. Bro that’s so true. The more friends you have at the gym the more low key annoying it gets. Like it’s cool and I like those peeps but sometimes I’m not in the mood for socializing, and sometimes I simply don’t have the extra time. Boundaries with those relationships is important for sure.

There’s a lot of normal gym girls who generally feel this way too, not just the big girls. But your last point is why it’s generally looked down upon imo. You gotta really not push it there if they’re not reciprocating, and so many guys can’t wrap their heads around when to walk away. Being raised mostly by women… oh how I feel you brother. For me that was a huge positive impact in numerous ways, but a big negative impact in two ways so far as I can tell. Hearing the men are dogs (or some variation there of) speech enough that I felt like it was not okay to express myself romantically or sexually with women. To add to this comment, one of the best things you can do is to get out of your head and go with her flow. Let your body react to how she’s reacting to your moves. Those local medical schools where you can get 2 year nursing degrees etc. Took a tour at our local one about a year ago and quickly noticed that the guy giving me the tour was the only other guy there. It’s always the moves you think are the riskiest that are actually best (if you’re relatively inexperienced). The overtly sexual thing you think you shouldn’t say, the way you touch etc. Saying you really like her seems like such a safe bet but is actually one of the riskier moves you could make

I’ve had it happen to me too a couple times but still exceedingly rare and never at the gym. Most guys don’t experience a woman approaching them. There’s always exceptions to the rule. I’m not asking questions I’m telling you how it is. Congrats to your brother though I guess.. lol

I think the overall point with approaching at gyms is to just be casual in your approach. Don’t try to get a number or flirt the first time. Just establish the connection and feel out whether or not she’s receptive. Say hi and converse a couple more times. If she seems receptive then go for it. I’d probably say something like “I know this is crazy cause we’re just at the gym, but I’d like to get a coffee with you sometime if you’re interested.” Not the best line but I usually ask kind of awkward…

Women are a lot less sensitive about this shit than men… trust me. She has hundreds of options at her fingertips. She’ll find another guy who’s interested and she’s into in a week or two if she’s looking. Don’t be an asshole with your delivery and it won’t hurt her feelings. She’ll be upset for like a day.

Tbf he said it happened once. I’d imagine for almost any guy that’s pretty rare unless you’re literally Drake. But it doesn’t sound insane to me with how easily you can get many women to send nudes. You literally can just ask half the time and get something lol
/r/seduction22/11/24 04:19 PM

Generally speaking you flirt/build rapport, then ask for nudes. One way I’ve done it is after flirting and building that chemistry you’ll eventually get a cute selfie unprompted. When you get said selfie (especially if she’s home) you can respond with something like “ridiculously cute, but you’ve got entirely too much clothing.” You can even push them in the direction of sending a selfie to show off some new clothing they’re telling you about, or a new bathing suit they’re telling you about. Putting on noticeable muscle takes a lot of time my man. If that’s something you want to do, then you should do it for you, not because it might help you get girls. It’ll help with that to an extent but without any game muscles get you nothing but open invitations that you don’t know what to do with. There you go my man, that’s the mindset right there. If someone is going to turn you down for your height you’re dodging someone you really don’t want anyways. Another thing that’s important to realize is that insecurity is a huge turnoff to everyone, including women. No point in being insecure about something you can’t change.

Great advice to actually sleep with the types of women op is talking about. Also great advice to completely turn off and turn away the amazing few that are out there.
/r/seduction14/10/24 02:06 AM

Yeah it’s one of those things where when I see it online, I just separate that from what I actually experience in the real world. Because in my experience I have no negative interactions with people based purely on my height. It makes me wonder if half of the guys who talk about being openly berated over it are making it up. It’s hard to fathom people actually experience that on a regular basis when I haven’t even gotten a hint of it.

I remember when I started talking to a woman and she disclosed she had hsv-1. I was like isn’t that the herpes that basically everyone has if you’ve kissed someone or shared drinks? She was like no I don’t think so, and we both proceed to look it up, then she double checks the screen shot of her test results from a year prior. The look of horror on her face as she realized all the missed opportunities she had from telling everyone that.

Yes 1 gram of protein per lb of body weight per day. If you’re fat this number can be reduced a lot. You’d look up the healthy weight you’d be at for your height. For example if you’re 250 lbs at 5’8” you’re probably going to want to shoot for around 160 grams of protein per day. If you decide to bulk anyways you can get away with a little less. Approximately .75 grams per lb of body weight per day.

This is so underrated. I’m 5’7” and have never perceived my height as a disadvantage. Maybe only when it comes to really high shelves lol. Walking around with confidence is so key. A huge boost to my confidence happened when I started putting on muscle a couple years ago now, and since then I’ve actually had a couple dudes I know say that I carry myself like I’m much taller than I am. When I hear that it makes me chuckle, because I’ve never considered myself as particularly short or anything. OP…
/r/seduction11/10/24 04:01 PM

The first year to two years you start lifting you don’t need to bulk to put on muscle. You do need to consistently eat about 1 gram of protein per lb of body weight though. If you’re just getting started and you’re average weight, or slightly overweight then just shift your diet to whole healthy foods with a focus on protein. Make your protein servings spread evenly throughout the day.

Also if you’re coming off as a fuckboy and still getting dates with good girls, plenty of girls want a fuckboy they can change. Regardless of why you’re in this situation, making more of an effort to escalate is going to give you the win(s) you want
/r/seduction26/09/24 07:57 PM

You need to be trying to escalate on dates. If it is going well like you say most of them do, then there’s no reason not to escalate. If she was uncomfortable with you you’d know. If she’s comfortable you aren’t going to make her uncomfortable by kissing or even trying to go beyond that. Nothing wrong with being a good dude. But don’t hold back on things you want in life. There’s nothing wrong with flirting or making your intentions known to women. If you are a good dude and you keep it pushing when you get rejected then you’re not going to be seen as creepy. Let your morals guide you, not what you think others will think of you when you go after what you want.

Not weird, but not something you want to get comfortable not doing. I didn’t try at all until I was 26, and the learning curve is a little steeper when you’re older. You should at some point soon make an effort to make some lady friends and make something happen with some of them. Regret can be a bitch, and you’re at an age where a lot of mistakes are forgivable.

I do alright at 5’7”. I’m a 6 or 7 at best and I work at dominos in my 30’s. I barely even try either.
/r/seduction06/09/24 01:18 AM

My experience being single is that it’s a slog to get dates, but I do very well on the ones I get. If you know from your single times that you easily get women then you know you can have some other experiences. If not, you probably won’t have the experiences you think you’ll have. But, you said you’re not excited at the idea of marrying her, so why stick around?
/r/seduction30/08/24 08:19 PM

Yes, but of course that’s the type of thing that takes months and months of therapy to de program. If you’re shit testing people subconsciously it’s a hard one to walk back.
/r/seduction28/08/24 05:46 AM
4

100%! I interpreted OP’s post to mean that you can learn from shit tests you’ve failed in the past. Most of us know that if you just do everything a woman wants you to do she’ll subconsciously lose respect over time.
/r/seduction27/08/24 08:06 PM
13

So you’re failing the shit tests if that’s your experience. You shouldn’t be doing everything women ask you to do. Only the things that you actually want to do. If she’s expecting you to read her mind call her on it. If she texts you a lot you don’t have to always respond etc etc. You’re proving OP’s point.

There’s no end goal to working on one’s self. That is a never ending process. Short term gratification sex gets old though, as you’re experiencing now.

Hmm. Well it sounds like you feel guilty because most of society would tell you that you should be. If that’s the case just put it out of your head. You had a great time and I’m sure she did too. I think there’s something to be said for why society views age gaps that way. Power dynamics and blah blah. It’s true, or at least has the potential to be, but just don’t be a douche and fuck with people’s emotions. If you enjoyed it you can do it again if you want lol.

Reframing a few things you said might be helpful here. You’re not “out here fucking 18 year olds.” You had a fling with an 18 year old and learned that’s not for you. Assuming there’s no deception on your part you did nothing wrong my man. I’m assuming you both were fully aware that this was a one time thing and was just for fun. Turned out to not be so fun after the fact but you learned. Might be the age thing, might be that one night things aren’t your style, or some combination of the two. Bu…

Being a genuinely good dude helps. Her seeing that you’re kind to everyone, kind to your mom and close family etc, as well as to strangers. Being a guy who’s going somewhere in life whether or not you’re established in your career yet. Having ambition to be financially secure basically.

Again, no need to state the obvious. The point was you need to spend money to get laid, which is not directly true. Indirectly sure, but again… obvious af. Commenters such as yourself drug this into ‘no shit Sherlock’ territory.

It disproves the point of the posts title though. “You need to spend MONEY to get laid.” Everyone in here who clung to what OP said is backpedaling now saying “but you pay with your time then.” Everything you do costs something. Going to sleep costs you the time it took walking to your bed. No need to state the obvious there.

We’ve all seen an ugly dude, or ugly dudes, or short dudes pull. One of the most consistently on it dudes I’ve seen with women was very mid looks wise and around 5’7”. On more than one occasion I saw him walk out of the bathroom of a house party with one of the hot girls there. You can blame things out of your control for your lack of skill, game, or status. Or you can build those things and do your best to build your look. I understand it’s just easier to blame something out of your control and…

I get more attention without my job listed. I’m a driver at dominos. If I was on the other end of the spectrum and had a high paying job that is known to be high paying, I would also not list it. I wouldn’t want to attract people who are more interested in my job title, or money than they are interested in me. Either way it’s easy to tell by looking at my photos that I’m employed. I can’t speak from experience in terms of having Asperger’s, but I’m assuming you’re just going to need a lot of practice in social situations. Maybe having a job that keeps you interacting with the public constantly will help. /r/seduction03/07/24 08:14 PM

In your most recent post you talk about how women are staring you down left and right, and how much your game sucks and social awkwardness impedes you. It’s not your height, it’s your inability to have normal conversations
/r/seduction03/07/24 06:59 PM
0

You sound like you’re exaggerating. I’m 5’7” and I’ve never had a woman directly deny me because of my height lol. What are you saying exactly? Are women actually saying things to you like “come back when you’re 6 foot?” Like how do you know they aren’t responding to your approaches because of height?
/r/seduction03/07/24 05:05 PM

This is one of those walk through open doors places, not knock on closed doors places. Meaning if you’re getting consistent signals from someone at the gym, you’ve interacted with them a couple times, and then asking them out seems like a no brainer, sure go for it. Otherwise don’t just cold approach women at the gym.

Yeah you could go this route, and it definitely does help to get you incredibly jacked if you’re doing all the other right things. But it will also make you incredibly horny without the ability to actually keep an erection, will shrink your testes, and will cause you to have to go on a slew of other drugs to help protect your endocrine function and vital organs. And that’s just scratching the surface of side effects

You didn’t get the message I was trying to convey my man. This journey is a marathon, not a 50 yard dash. Being impatient will impede your results. 5 days won’t bring more results than 3 for a beginner. It’s hard af to stick to 5 days, and is likely to burn you out very fast if you don’t already have a very strong foundation in the gym. That’s why most beginners who actually stick around long enough to see results build the best foundation on a minimal schedule. It’s easier to adhere to in so ma…

It’s a long journey my friend. Just start by going to the gym 2-3 times a week and prioritizing protein intake. Stay consistent. Make up missed days, get enough sleep, and make sure you’re hitting your protein goal at least 90% of the time. You’ll learn over time from experience and from watching good fitness content on YouTube. Jeff Nippard is a good one for beginners and is very clear cut good advice. I agree with pretty much the whole of your comment, but if you aren’t cold approaching at least some of the time, you’re leaving a lot up to chance and leaving a lot of potential opportunities on the table. Especially as you get into your late twenties, early thirties, and beyond. By this point your social circle is often 90+% couples, or other single guys. Same with coworkers etc who are mostly taken. It’s really not that crazy. Well going on 40-50 dates in a year is a wild concept to me, but converting half (or close to half) to sex isn’t very difficult. If she’s on a date with you she’s at least somewhat interested. The battle is half over and all downhill from that point. You just have to go in with the idea that it’ll be a fun time, and have no other expectations. Then be bold when the opportunities present themselves.

To a lesser extent but similar for me after 2 plus years of consistency in the gym. Not so easy it’s become boring, but definitely made it easy to distinguish flirting from not flirting and to see choosing signals when they happen so frequently. Sometimes multiple times a day. After a handful of messages (2-10) you need to be shooting the shot to get the date. Take the shot right when the momentum is there. The amount of messages exactly doesn’t really matter, as long as you’ve struck some chemistry quickly, and ask quickly you should be getting at least some dates from this. Server at a restaurant, bartender at a bar or restaurant, delivery driver at a pizza place etc. Small talk with patrons and coworkers is a necessity in the service industry and you will just get used to it. I didn’t break out of my shell when it came to talking with strangers until I got a job as a server at 19. I was awkward as hell for several months, but it really helpe…

Take your own advice lol. You obviously didn’t read what I said, or what the person you responded to said. I never implied that you suggested sitting at home. I was actually agreeing with you to an extent. And the person you quoted and responded to wasn’t suggesting waiting for magic. That was your framing. They were just saying having common ground is easy mode. Which it is.

Get a service industry job, even if only on the weekends. I went from a very shy 19 year old kid to a fully developed guy who can make friends with just about anyone when I got a job as a server. I’m still very introverted and don’t often do it, but when I do I’m good at making connections.

Women only seem to leave a jobless guy if he’s not out looking for another job. Or if he’s been looking and still hasn’t found the “perfect fit” and it’s been 6 months, or a year. Thus she’s dealing with someone who got too comfortable and is now a bum. No drive is not attractive. If you lose a job and can’t find a new one, the problem isn’t the job market, it’s you. Yeah I don’t think any man or woman wants to feel like they’re being taken advantage of. That much is a given. But it’s pretty eas…

Eh idk. Cheaters are cheaters and cheating is certainly a sure fire way to end a relationship. I don’t think someone’s proclivity for cheating is determined by a discrepancy in pay that benefits the woman though. It seems to me that a woman is less likely to get with you to begin with if you’re a bum who doesn’t really make anything. But if you’re income is more than enough, and hers happens to be higher I think it just comes down to insecurity and paranoia. I think most instances of a man or wo…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 06:12 PM

Basically, from my point of view if my future lady is a value add (not just in traditional relationship ways) instead of a value suck, I’m all over it. If I’m putting food in her mouth for her I want nothing to do with it. If she were to become disabled or something, then okay different story.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 04:03 PM

I can sort of see that argument, and it actually makes a lot of sense. I suppose you’d have to have two people who truly don’t care and actually understand the insignificance of a provider role in modern society. Especially without children. If the woman is not needed at home to play the motherly role, I can’t imagine the significance of this mindset. Wouldn’t you agree that this is the most applicable when you have children? I do not plan on having kids. I’ll be getting a vasectomy first chance…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:50 PM

That may be true. I have a feeling that unless you really want kids, this whole women making more money than you is an ego thing. Like why would you care if she makes more? Is it a control thing and/or you want her to be dependent on your income?

When we’re talking physical differences, sure. When we’re talking preferences, no. Some women like the one who replied to my original comment here, don’t want to be dependent on a man. I know several women who are in relationships with men whose income is lower than their own. That’s like saying all men like anal. I’m simply not interested in someone who constantly needs validation. It’s not worth my time or energy, and people like that would eventually have me acting insecure as well. This woman, displaying that level of insecurity comes off as someone who will cheat on you the moment she doesn’t get the validation she wants. In regards to macho assholes, those aren’t men. If he brings a girl with him who brings her friends along too? Okay then. And if you want to attract women you just show interest. Why wouldn’t an automated background check change anything? That’s such an obtuse statement. People who’re going to commit violence aren’t new to it a majority of the time. There’s a reason why violent offenders are always being rolled up for the same types of crimes. If you eliminate known violent offenders from the OLD pool, you’re obviously going to have a lot less people likely to commit a violent crime in said pool.

Yeah I would date someone taller than me. But yes I’d say there’s a cutoff limit. Probably 1-2 inches. I’m 5’7” and honestly can’t imagine myself with a woman who is 5’10” or taller. My dad is 5’10” and it probably has something to do with that. I’ve always seen him as very tall.

I just recently was talking to a gal who deflected a lot, especially towards the beginning. It was always with very menial things and I never thought much of it. Still don’t know what to make of that. She also was rather bad at asking about things regarding myself, but got better about that as we grew closer. After almost 3 months she ghosted. Not saying she will ghost, I’m not experienced enough to say, but idk if there’s a connection there psychologically.

Holy shit that’s a game changing move lol. But for real, congratulations my man! You’ve had way more success in the last month than I’ve had in the last two years in many respects. I started at 27 too and am 29 now. I’ve gotten 3 gals from tinder to actually meet up, 2 of those I saw for a few months. I’ve matched maybe 50 in that entire time. 20 of those in the last 3 months with platinum. I’ve gotta try the men and women thing now. I noticed when I got more picky with my swipes my matches incr…

For me it’s definitely both. I can’t genuinely say which one is more important to me, but words of affirmation hold just as much weight as physical touch in my book. My above example is something I cherish just as much, if not more than any of the cuddle time etc we spent together.

The last girl I was seeing spontaneously turned over towards me and looked me in the eye while we were watching a movie one night. She said, “you’re really sweet, you know that?” Unfortunately we’re not seeing each other anymore, but I’ve hung onto that since that day. Just one of those moments.

With a touch of confidence a lot of things will flow naturally, even if you’re slightly awkward about them. Try typing in confidence sleep hypnosis on YouTube. There’s a couple from a channel called growing forever that helped me immensely. I listen to them 2 or 3 nights a week still.

Well now we’re playing semantics aren’t we? Because there’s no key difference between changing yourself to the person you want to be and being yourself. Two different ways of describing the exact same thing. And you shouldn’t change to a person that you think other people will want. If you’re organically being you, and not holding any part of you back, there are people who’re going to respond to that in a positive way. That is assuming you’re not a completely miserable person in need of years of…

That’s what I tend to think about it as well. As a guy, if I try to “game” I’m not going to attract anyone worth keeping around.

I suck at “game,” and I started having success when I let my guards down and just allowed myself to be comfortable being me. And I’m no 10. I’m covered in freckles and started balding in my teens.

“Just be yourself” is only terrible advice for those that don’t know who they are, or what that actually means. And it can mean different things for different people. For me, it meant dropping my self conscious filter that contained my happy and goofy/silly side. It also meant dropping the fear that I may embarrass myself for expressing myself and my wants. And it took me years to figure out what that statement meant, or rather how I could apply it to myself. You can boil failure in the dating/h…

I’d suggest listening to this while you sleep! I’ve been listening a couple times a week for about a month now. My tv automatically shuts off after an hour, but even then it’s been super effective for me. I generally am a lot more happy and accepting of an outcome in any given situation, seduction related or otherwise. My depression has pretty much gone away since I started listening to this too. Maybe it’ll help you some! https://youtu.be/YhGloPrXKnQ

In your first paragraph it sounds like you’re projecting your frustration with being in the friend zone as opposed to any advice you’ve gotten from women per se. I agree that many girls/women don’t know what they want, and often describe what they want from a relationship, rather than what they want from a prospective man initially. Which is still something to consider in that context. Many of those things she’d want in a relationship would also be turn offs on the front end. Courtship behavior …

I’ve had some lesbians and bi girls give me a decent tip here and there. Straight women on occasion too but that’s even more rare. Don’t completely disregard female advice when it comes to dating, but take it all with a grain of salt.

While that is a likely possibility, it’s not impossible for a woman to do exactly what was described here. I’ve seen it on more than one occasion.

As an introvert, being energized by being social is true, but only for very short periods of time. After a while, even with positive feedback, social settings are incredibly draining unless they’re 1 on 1. 1 on 1 for me personally is the only time socializing is energizing. Like more than 2 hours for me in a group and I’m done. I also hate being the center of attention so much so that I don’t enjoy someone throwing a party for me. I would never tell anyone that unless we’re incredibly close thou…

It depends on the man. I’m more on the shy side and am usually a little intimidated to be more direct unless I know someone very well. This is likely due to a confluence of factors, but regardless it leaves me pretty lonely. When I am more direct I’ve only really ever gotten the run around lead on anyways. The only times it’s worked out for me were when the woman took the lead. And still most of the time their advances went over my head lol. So yeah I like a direct approach from the ladies. That…

I can’t speak for op. My form of meditation is clearing the mind completely while remaining conscious. Kind of hard to explain how to do, but whenever you’re thinking of something you just gently push the thought aside. You eventually enter a space that is completely empty and almost feels like sleep. You know you aren’t sleeping though because when a sound interrupts it you notice. Idk what this method is called.

I’m posting this because some people need to hear it. If you’re on the more successful side of dating and hooking up, then don’t give “advice” like this to guys who have a hard time with it or are completely unsuccessful. It comes off as dismissive and arrogant. In this particular example is one of my best friends, and in the past he actually has given me some pretty good advice. But when you hear this all the time and don’t get actual advice from people for years on end (this was me at one poin…

It’s in our DNA. It’s part of women’s selection process to see if a male has the gall to approach her. If he doesn’t and can’t even spark a conversation, then how can he protect, provide food/shelter, and lead them to greener pastures when tough times come? That being said, you shouldn’t be saying “I’m too socially awkward to do this”. Instead try “this is rough but success will come with practice.” It literally doesn’t even have to be perfect. Be your awkward self and make light of it when that…

So I asked her both previous times if she wanted to join me for my semi regular evening walk to watch sunset. I asked her that way because I didn’t want to be too serious about it at work. The pandemic rules out a dinner date or anything traditional for us both I think. We both enjoy time outdoors and it sounded like a good idea at the time. I do think you make a good point about the after thought part. I think I’m probably going to go for it. Something like “hey I want to tell you something, I …

I tend to agree, and I see how that could potentially be a disastrous situation if handled incorrectly. In this particular situation I don’t think I’ll be screwing myself if I am tactful though. I think I could screw myself in terms of ruining an opportunity. If she is attracted like I think she is, opening up a little too much could be a bad thing? Idk it’s a difficult one. She’s a really cool person and we have a great relationship at work. If she shoots me down after I share my feelings it’ll…

100%! Like I said I’m learning a lot, especially in the last 2 years. But that’s one that I didn’t expect would work. Once you have something of a rapport with someone and you’ve breached the physical contact thing, you know how they respond to certain things and when they’re okay with it. I just have a really hard time reading that on the front end still. If it’s our first time together I’m probably going to screw it up. And again for others that are still learning, I’m not very experienced, an…

It should be noted that apologizing and saying “I must’ve read the situation wrong” has led me to a dead end on nearly every occasion. Showing vulnerability is where I’ve turned embarrassing moments into success.

Very true, and I’m still getting comfortable with being uncomfortable in a lot of those situations. To be honest, I have a hard time with escalation and making physical advances. If I time it wrong or just read the situation wrong (I do both of these often), then I just apologize and tell them I must’ve read the situation wrong. Sometimes I’ll even say “sorry, I don’t have much experience in situations like these”. If I’ve been confident up to that point I don’t see it as too terrible a thing to…

Just do it until it’s become normal to you. I used to be hella uncomfortable driving. I reluctantly got my license at 18 and didn’t drive much after I did. By the time I was 20 I wasn’t giving it much thought anymore. I used to be uncomfortable with eye contact, then I started making it a point to maintain it. You start with normal everyday people. Could be people at work, your family, friends etc. you don’t want to stare non stop into someone’s eyes, but holding eye contact for relatively long …

You just boosted my confidence like crazy. I’m good about maintaining eye contact, and always good about smiling. Putting the rest together afterwards has always been my issue. You’ve confirmed what I’ve kind of always suspected though, the eyes tell all. If your gut is telling you her eye contact is more than just conversational, it probably is and should just go for it at some point. This couldn’t have come at a better time for me either. Thank you brother!

Statistically speaking, in the US and in countries where it’s legal, stds are found in lower rates among prostitutes than among the general public. This is because they’re very strict about protection and get tested weekly. What average college hoe is getting tested that often and ALWAYS using protection!?

You’ve put yourself on display well enough for me to extrapolate that you look down on most women and view them as inferior. I’ll spare quoting you back to yourself as everyone else has already done that. The very fact that you put off fixing yourself on someone else says a lot. Try taking a little ownership when it comes to fixing yourself. And Try saying half the things you’ve said here to a smart older woman who is career driven and see how far you get pal. Smdh

And to be honest, hiring a prostitute or two may be a great thing for you, it was for me (assuming you’re a virgin). Once the excitement of losing your virginity is out of the way you’ll definitely be a lot more relaxed and probably more successful. Separate from seduction, a pro life tip is you’re the only one who can help yourself. A therapist might be a good means for suggesting things that may help you do that, but in the end it’s up to you. They won’t “fix” you as you put it.
/r/seduction06/10/18 04:57 AM

Well I don’t know a whole lot about the game but I can tell you part of the reason you’re not getting very far seems to be your attitude towards women in general. PS women is plural and woman is singular.

So I’m kind of new to the art of seduction, but suppose I was in the same shoes as this awesome dude. Just had a great date with perceived sexual tension but she just wants to be friends. I’m thinking my next move is to not initiate contact for maybe 2 weeks (or just whenever feels right) to build interest and go for it again at a later date.
