Sometimes when my husband tickles me or puts cold hands on my back, I'll slap his chest or arm. I know he won't hit me back, and he told me I need to stop doing that. He asked what I would think if he hit me like that? He's right; I'm wrong. It's very easy to fall into this position because as a woman, I feel that I can't do him any real harm. It's typically a kneejerk reaction to hit him, but I'm trying to learn self-control.

Boiling isn't a state though. I don't care if other people use it incorrectly. Liquid is a state, and gas is a state. Boiling is the transition between the two. It isn't a separate state. "hot enough that it bubbles" is an explicit transition from liquid to gas. "The water is boiling." and "The ball is red." are not parallel in sentence structure as "boiling" is a verb. You guys are really annoying! Boiling is the rapid vaporization of a liquid. Boiling is not a liquid. Boiling is not a gas. Boiling is the transformation, idiot. Guess what happens when you boil a pot of water and some of the water changes back from a gas to a liquid? It's called condensation. Both these things are happening because it's very difficult to maintain the exact boiling point over a pot of water.

I agree. I acted hastefully in my frustration. Throughout my whole life, I have had mostly guy friends. Not all but mostly. My best friend 2nd grade-12th grade was a guy. This reminds me of the argument for the male abortion. Google it if you don't know, but it's basically that if women have the choice to end a baby's/fetus'/zygote's life, then a man should have that equal choice. This choice may not be to kill the child but to kill his responsibility just as the woman can kill her responsibility. I apologize if that isn't very coherent. I'm sleepy. Google it.
