That's awful. He is just so embarrassed. I had a girlfriend like her. She would come at me with a frying pan or her fists. Luckily she finally snapped in public and the cops came. Even after she was cuffed and arrested for assaulting a cop and myself I was still defending her and acting like it wasn't a huge deal. Your masculinity is on trial and you just want to laugh it off. I am lucky that the police got to witness it and then she decided it would be a smart idea to start kicking the cops. They took photos of my bruised arm, the bruises were in the shape of her hand as she grabbed on and would not let go. The female cop was really good about it. Not the male though. If it was just him it would have been different. My ex gave me a copy of the arresting interview and the male cop kept asking if I had hit her. Over and over. To her credit she told the truth. Fuck that…
