1	Does a good singing voice work as a display of value? I like to do a lot of motown, funk, classic rock and generally popular music that everyone knows. You've got a good voice and your accent isn't that thick, just stick to stuff you know, the accent shouldn't matter for most people. 1	Does a good singing voice work as a display of value? Thanks for all the tips, I'll check that book out too. I am what you would call a "great singer" and I'm damn lucky to have the pipes I do, I just need to utilize them more. I also have stage anxiety so I'm using karaoke to help get over it. I hesitate to do overly sexual songs or ballads because I feel like it makes it seem like I'm trying too hard to get the ladies' attention and it changes the mood of the room. 1	Does a good singing voice work as a display of value? Yeah I don't sing unless it's karaoke or everyone is singing along to some song. Like lots of things, songs that turn the ladies on are pretty contextual. The other night I was at karaoke night at a well known "cougar den" and I sang things like Ain't too proud to beg by the temptations, Darling Nikki by Prince (this one gets everyone hot, if you haven't heard it check it out) and Sweet Caroline (for the older gals) and I was getting a lot of positive feedback.
