You made the right decision. I read my gf's diary one time and she was lamenting over a past relationship and entertaining the idea of them getting back together. They are married with kids now. I'll never forget that feeling of thinking you know someone then coming to know that it's something else entirely.

"She's not gonna love me for me, she's gonna love me for the fake person I didn't want to be in the first place that I had to be to get her interest." This is where I'm stuck at. Whenever I'm talking to women online and I act all super positive and outgoing they eat it up. If I respond with the same ordinary stuff they put forth the convo instantly dies. They are completely fine and willing in falling in love with a facade. They don't love you far who you are only what they want you to be. It's …

Very much so. Would like to see some metrics on how many females vs males are on this site.

Maybe the people that you know. I suppose the word sexism has lost all meaning at this point. I see women acting childish but I would never make such blanket statements as they are obviously ignorant.

I got banned from that sub in like 4 comments. I was merely stating from a biological standpoint men have physical things like androgens and relief in the seminary gland that propels them to pursue sex. I was immediately called an incel and banned. Feminist types will reject any idea no matter how fact based that men are different from women. I looked through the mods post history that banned me and a lot of the subs she was a part of were about BDSM and dominating men. She was really into peggi…

I'm male and I feel your pain. It's hard for us out there. Every time I tell a girl I like metal they're like "so do you still listen to it."

Nothing could be further from the truth. Men lunge at the opportunity at sex without emotionally investing themselves. Ever heard of dic pics, prostitution, strip clubs, pornography, etc. Your point is predicated on an assertion that men are inherently immature.

I think people expect too much from their relationships. As long as she's somewhat attractive, not high maintenance, and enjoys the same things as me she's a candidate. That's hard to find though.

They both do it it's just more acceptable for women. Case and point, men don't have a pop culture acronym for it.

Maybe if you had a better example I could agree with you. But in my experience beefing up my chest and arms is something that completely changed the way women look at me. Having a built chest as a dude is like being a girl with big boobs. Maybe not all guys like big boobs, but it will definitely catch the eyes of a majority of men. It's not an absolute, but a generalization that I find to be mostly true. I think something about the purple pill gets wrong here in your implication that if you don'…

I'm pretty sure that would only make sense if I was asking what a specific song was.

Nice. Heard that song a million times but never paid much attention to it. Just watched the lyric video. You're spot on.

Stealing your "meet the dog" strategy. I think you could have saved it by saying anything that made her feel special or think she was #1 in the running. Or you could have joked about it a little and maybe reminded her of how things don't have to be serious.

True. I regular shaming method from the left is "oh you're one of those MRA's." Which is just short for "you're one of those groups I decided is evil and always wrong so your opinion does not matter." People use labels to "win" a discussion without even having it.

You're doing fine. Could look into taking those business credits and going for your bachelor's. I didn't start school until I was 24.

Mind elaborating on the "if they want to rush things bail out quick." I know there's truth to that just wondering your perspective. You're lucky to have your son.

It absolutely makes a difference. They have so many options not distinguishing yourself is a missed opportunity. Also the matches you get are better and already have some interest in you that's not completely superficial.

No I have more success online. They are at your fingertips so it takes less effort and time. What I will say is I use online dating as my kinda test kitchen or practice for approaching women in real life. I reintroduced myself to dating through the apps and after several successes I felt confident enough to go it on my own. You can learn a lot about dating at a fast pace with the apps so it builds your skills.

Do things you yourself find enjoyable and then it won't seem like you are putting yourself out there. I make dates for things and times I would do myself. Sometimes after a date I stick around the bar and see if there are other women to hit on or maybe meet a homie. Don't get discouraged. Don't let any failures or nonsuccesses in the dating world diminish you. Love yourself and your life and dating is just something you do to get out/get laid. Once you adopt this your results will get better. I'…
