I’m tall (5’9” 125 lbs) and prefer men around my height and body type. I’m just more comfortable around them than with someone who could easily overpower me and it’s easier to walk and talk with someone of a similar height.

Hollywood ugly. Average but slightly strange looking person, not in a hot way.

Rami Malek is a great example. I usually go for fair complexions, light hair and light eyes but I think he’s gorgeous. It’s the eyes. He’s got emotional depth and an internal dialogue. He’s much hotter than a conventionally attractive type like Brad Pitt, who has blank eyes. I don’t see the appeal of Adam Driver at all.

Without love and companionship, there’s nothing in a relationship for me and I’d rather be alone. I realize this is a privileged position for a woman to be in. it’s my reality and how I choose to approach the prospect.

everything but the last part is perfectly reasonable, but your linguistic choices betray more about your mindset than that of the women you pursue.

This helps make sense of the TRP posts I’ve come across, thank you. I would never be interested in this type of man and they likely wouldn’t be interested in me in any way beyond the physical. If they were, it wouldn’t go very far because I’m not willing to be submissive in a relationship and I’m not submissive in the bedroom. There’s no conflict unless one is pursuing the other.

It’s entirely possible I’m conflating TRP with Trad Cons as I’m new to all of this. There are a few different definitions of “red pilled” put forth in the comments. I/we should outline and agree on defining characteristics before debating merits.

We’ll have to cash out around age 60, work normal hours and accept a lower salary, but by that point the capital gains will be more than enough to supplement.

Yeah and women expect traditional courtship but otherwise egalitarian relationships. Assuming that's true for the majority of women, and I think the first part is, it's a false equivalence. Getting to know someone new in a romantic context is a matter of the heart and of determining compatibility. Both parties are emotionally vetting and proving themselves to each other, so to speak. I'm inquiring about dynamics within established relationships.

Same reason men started sending photos of their genitals to women. They assumed that since they’re aroused by pictures of body parts, we would be too. Couldn’t have been further off. You do seem to have touched a nerve. I’ve tried starting similar, open discussions and they’re almost always met with aggressive indignation and defensiveness. It’s unfortunate most of the guys in this sub and other dating subs can’t be more open-minded and level-headed. Do they actually want to understand women or …

I get the impression OP would describe rain as, “not dry, not occurring in a drought state or the desert. water, but not from a fountain, lake, ocean or pool. must be American precipitation.” If this post didn’t read like a 3rd grade English assignment, it might be easier to take seriously.

As a woman who doesn’t like it when men attempt to lead me, I’m objecting to #2, but I also realize I’m in a minority here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
