1	Straight men will not spend a significant amount of time/are not close friends with a straight woman in whom they are not sexually or romantically interested. I personally (30F) have a super close friend who is (34M), we met at work as coworkers about 9 years ago. We are both married, have toddlers around the same age, but have always had a great platonic relationship with lots of venting, advice, and jokes! We don’t work side by side anymore, but still chat on the phone quite a bit. Neither significant other has ever been insecure, because we have been friends so long.
