I had no one else I could confide in There is your problem. Find someone to confide in. Not your girl. Sexual intimacy is easy to attain. Emotional intimacy, not so easy. Every woman is different and the degree and nature of your intimacy will vary with each woman. You have to know her well enough to judge her tolerance for your weaknesses, and she has to know you well enough to tolerate them. Unless you marry an angel from heaven, you will have to keep certain things hidden, which things you wi…

I had a girl do something like this once--I was visiting her town and asked to stay with her--she made it clear we would not be sleeping together. I played it cool, went to bed in the guest room and when she came in to "say goodnight" it took less than five minutes for her to find her way into the bed! This is an "anti-slut defense." She doesn't want to appear easy, but the fact that she raises the issue means it is very much on her mind. Go to it.

The girl who likes you for your absolute true-self, whether that's alpha or beta or omega, is the girl you marry. In fairy tales.

It all comes down to what is referred to as "inner game." If you develop your own self-confidence you learn to discern what is right for you and reject what doesn't suit. It still hurts to break up with a woman you care about, but sometimes the right choice is not the pleasant one.

If she is turning away when you move in to kiss her, that's on her end. You are not likely to recover this at all. Move on. Maybe in a few months her attitude will change, but in that time you will have found lots of more willing girls.

Next. This could take months. Give her those months to think about it while you pursue other interests.

He recently confessed to having feelings for me. Big mistake. No wonder she is not attracted to him.

Her: "I'm so tired." You: "Why don't you come in and lie down for a little while?"

Not texting her straight back was a mistake--it makes you appear as if you are trying to appear aloof. A simple "ok" would have done it. Then no contact for a few weeks--try again, but don't hold out too much hope. She needs to forget the awkwardness and see you in a more advantageous context.

Suggest a daytime activity, no implications, then in the course of the afternoon steer things into the evening...keep her guessing, keep her rationalizing, but hammer her home. Sex needs to be plausibly deniable, not entirely off the menu--unless you don't want any.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
