I think you're looking for an answer that society would mostly agree with. With that in mind I would say maybe like 25 cutoff

Your friends making fun of you is in a way a shit test of its own. Men can do this as well. Take the Brad Pitt rule for example. Imagine it were Brad Pitt in this situation. If he were fingering a chubby girl at a club and some dudes started making fun of him, do you think he would hold a cocky smile and ignore them or make excuses for himself? Don't care what they think. I think males are programmed to make fun of each other as a way of building tougher exteriors to the outside world. You see i…

Agreed. I meant more that the views she expresses in this interview are Red Pill and realistic.

Mirroring her actions and attitudes and adapting to her behavior are antithetical to TRP though. In this case it'd be "fake it til u make it" style. That's fine if that's what you have to deal with, but the 2/3 rule is the way to go. Give 2/3 back of what they give you.

Yep lol know this all too well. But yeah one should never debate with them. Just a waste of time and chips away at your frame in their eyes.

Could be, but I think it's more of an evolutionary impulse. Some things about women's behavior seems to a conscious thought process, but the VAST majority really does not. Hence hamstering. They don't even know what they're doing or thinking half the time.

Yup. Have had past LTR's completely take my word for everything and take instruction with grace, and when things fizzled (largely due to slipups - as I was still learning TRP, among other factors), the flip was switched like night and day. Chameleons for sure.

Yeah IOI's can be there or not. Some girls are stealthy and really don't give off much, and are simply waiting for you to escalate. I've even had moments where it seemed like I was getting the opposite of IOI's and then after I was like "fuck it" and just went for it everything was chill and we were doing the deed. Obviously you need to be tactful though.

I see it as a sign of early-onset oneitis, not that she's necessarily LTR worthy.

Be careful. The longer you're in a relationship, the harder it is to resist oneitis. It will develop, and will cloud your judgement and challenge your frame as you start to develop unicorn-goggles which makes you want to disbelieve AWALT. You have the luxury now of not being too emotionally tied to this girl. If I were you I would tread carefully. If you know yourself well enough and think you will be fine, go for it, but realize that in an LTR as time goes on you are under a hypergamous microsc…

I'll be the realist here: just be prepared for a negative reaction in case you get one. I'm 5'10 and have had girls call me short before. I'm not saying this to be a dick - just relaying my experience. If you are actually 5'3 and she's actually 5'8, there's a fairly good chance she's going to be put off by it. Aside from that, be careful not to invest too much so that if things don't work you won't be disappointed.

For sure. When I couldn't afford a gym membership I was doing lifting exercises with my 40 lb music keyboard. Wasn't gonna get me huge, but it got me somewhere with noticeable gains, and it made my jump to an actual weightlifting regiment at a gym much smoother.
/r/askTRP11/01/16 11:11 PM

you want to "go fucking monk mode, sort out my shit diet, learn to drive, maybe start lifting." You should do all of these things. Honestly, doing them all at once is actually easier and more effective in my experience. Also, the busier you are, the more motivated you will be to do the other things. You should get a full time job while doing these other things. You don't need to get a gym membership to start exercising. Running, doing sit ups and push ups in your room is still a good start. TRP …

Pretty much. One of my favorite bar anecdotes was a time when I was buying a drink and unknowingly next to two girls. One pretty smokin and another very meh. Hot one recognizes me b/c I'd banged one of her friends. She suggests I flirt with the other friend she was with at the bar, and I lol'd and played along. Ended up making out with the friend maybe 3-4 minutes later. Hot girl of course get jelly and then I'm making out with her right after. You can't make this shit up. Girls will literally p…

I'm looking for the opposite. Honestly I'm a little burned out from being a horse on the cock carousel. It's unfulfilling. I've been MGTOW for the last couple of months and don't really see my opinion changing anytime soon. Living in New York, you see hypergamy in full force pretty much everywhere you go. Wives with their husbands and families at expensive dinners giving me eyes while betabux shells out his hard-earned cash to buy her things and she doesn't even respect him or her family enough …

Conservative religious communities still exist, and though I'm agnostic (with a spiritual leaning) I have to say after interacting with a local chabad community that they are not as wacko as mainstream society seems to think. Really, they are just living by RP ideals, and they are normal people like anyone else. Sure, there's some other traditions to it, but every day living in the devolved western society makes those religious communities seem more appealing. They're not amish, they just value …

Even the tiny percentage of girls who actually are worth committing to will eventually disappoint. LTR's that last longer than a year are a very dangerous game.
/r/TheRedPill22/12/15 12:51 PM

Sadly, yes. I had an LTR with a girl who literally started off as close to unicorn status as possible - virgin, from a conservative religious family, yet still incredibly hot with an even hotter body. I felt like I hit the fucking lotto. And she was top notch LTR material until I lost control of the reigns, and the uber-liberal influence of our progressive university environment really started to change the equation. She ditched many of her conservative friends for the slut brigade. Of course, A…

Yup. This unfortunately is the truth. A former LTR of mine was in the 8-10 wholesome category. After we split and as her main friend group shifted from conservative girls to sorority hoes her upbringing went out the window.

It's not that black and white. At my local bar there are several girls I have these "friendships" with. Some I've been with, others I have no interest in. In these cases, if you're not interested in the girl, who cares about how she may or may not perceive you? That's giving too much weight to their opinions. Regardless of how they see you, social proof is still in effect, and you will stand out far more to the others around you. Furthermore, I don't consider these actual friendships. There are …

People aren't a fan of this post, but contextually this can be super helpful. Like another user commented, it's beneficial when it's a two-way street. Except girls think that hanging around high-SMV guys boosts their own because of solipsism, but in reality when guys see a girl with a high-SMV guy they are put off or at least discouraged. You can definitely milk this kind of thing to your advantage though. I see no harm in keeping these sort of "appearance only" friendships for the sake of it co…

I actually sweat quite a bit. Used to be embarrassing when I was younger. It's also winter where I live now though, so not as big an issue at the moment. I'm not sure I can help you with the salt line thing, I can't recall having that issue before. With fapping it's hard to say. The studies that back NoFap link not ejaculating with increase in pheromone production for the first week of not ejaculating, but it makes sense that during arousal pheromone production would go up, and maybe that's wher…

Yeah I'm thinking the phrasing of "you know that's not the point" is not clear enough to be always understood as referring to "Thursday night" as the central point upon which the plans/question hinges.

I mean on the other side of the coin it's not that big a deal. Most of these AMOG techniques can be brushed off quite easily. At the end of the day it just comes down to who has the stronger frame - how you handle it. I would say reciprocate the physicality, maybe with an arm around the shoulder and a slight shake (like you'd do with a buddy you haven't seen in a while etc.) and also respond playfully and loudly. Let's not get too carried away and say that a shoulder patdown is an overt or outri…

I understand. Although I'll counter it with the fact that I was not like this at all even 1 year ago. I developed the social butterfly skill, and was not born with it. It takes practice. Anyway, yes IDGAF is tough to tap into, but what's stopping you is the overthinking. You're thinking he's more alpha and thinking/feeling that you're a buffoon walking around aimlessly. These thoughts are thereby PREVENTING you from taking ACTION. Women are fickle and their perceptions change. That is why LTR's …

Hell yeah. Full snowball effect. The more you interact with a bunch of randos at the bar, the higher your SMV goes to the girls in there. People take note of the fun you're having, and they want in on the action.

" Phil spends an hour in the bathroom, hes like a woman." "Hey, when you're cramping, you're cramping." "A lady's gotta do what a lady's gotta do" Or something else that goes along with the absurd insinuation that you're a woman. You are so unperturbed by his perceived authority that you entertain it. These should be said with very joking facial expressions. I've had similar situations, and will not give into them. Women love it. They'll think more highly of you, and see him as weaker for having…

Honestly I kind of agree. If this happens just once in a while, it's fine. But if this is happening with frequency it's not the kind of thing I would tolerate. My friends and I don't do this with each other, especially when going out and talking to women. What's the point? People do this because they're trying to prove something. Fight back when you need to, but when I see AMOGing coming my way, I see it as a sign of weakness that the other man is threatened by me and trying to one-up me. Just r…

Last part absolutely. I used to think that way, but in all honesty just own everything you do. I float around at bars and talk to random people all over. There's nothing wrong with walking around. I literally wander all over the bar alone, leaving my friends to mingle amongst themselves. Has never slowed me down one bit. If you float about with confidence people just assume you don't give a fuck. Gotta take in the environs, and make sure you're not missing out on any HB's that may be hidden behi…

I think the true abundance way of handling this is not caring what's going on. You enjoy your friend, you are not threatened by him in your ability to obtain attractive women. You don't always have to be the center of attention. People converse. If he's body blocking you, I would just walk away and start talking to someone else. Although, when I'm at a bar I tend to talk to random strangers all the time, so if that's not where you're at then I understand the hesitation to walk away if you think …

Shit tests really become pretty entertaining after a while. Some girls will really lay it on you. It can be uncomfortable when a girl is with a boyfriend or date and they keep shit-testing you incessantly, trying to justify to themselves ditching their dude. On two separate occasions I was with different groups of people up all night partying, and a girl with her date for the night just kept the shit-tests coming hardcore all night. Hamster level: buff hamster Wife was likely mortified and scrambled to beat him down as quick as possible because she realized just how stupid and ridiculous she looked in that moment. Absolutely. Ask someone where they're from, and they say "Idaho," just reply excitedly with "Oh, like the potatoes! blah blah blah." Postive/excited energy is contagious. Be fun, even for a second, and people will usually follow and then the conversation just keeps its own momentum.

Keep it up. It's all about easing into it. I used to have awful social anxiety. I've realized it's about being warmed up and in a rhythm. If I stay antisocial for too long I start to get anxious again. Gotta stay social and make small talk all the time.

I agree and disagree. I think it has a lot to do with your environment growing up, and of course genetic "privilege" as someone in here put it. As a little kid I actually was a natural (I'm talking elementary school being charismatic and popular with all the girls). Then I moved cities, got pretty fat, sad, and lonely. Middle school and high school were miserable, and I was effectively formed a BP guy. Then I lost all my weight in college, and discovered "shit, girls find me attractive," but why…

Interesting note on the cold showers, good to know! On top of that, they also boost testosterone and general will-power. Hot showers also dry your skin and can make it flaky and peel.

So again, this is anecdotal, but I've found it takes about 3 days after not showering to start smelling more like pheromones. Now this part is a bit of science taken from NoFap - when you go without ejaculating, your body will naturally produce more pheromones in an effort to get you laid. If you want to experiment hesitantly, I say try it out without showering AND without jacking off/ejaculating for a few days. It's possible people vary depending on their levels of testosterone, so it's hard to…

Quality post. Surprised it has as many down votes as it does. EDIT: not anymore. Good. Now, some people will find this controversial, but I hardly shower... I don't use shampoo nor soap. I rinse with water when I do shower, which is not that often. It's gotten to the point where I can recognize my own pheromones, so I can tell when they're pumping strong. It's not surprising to me that you say women are extremely sensitive to a man's odors. In the bar the other weekend, I literally overheard one…

Absolutely. Furthermore, in an LTR you are under a fucking microscope. It's just much harder to keep it up all the time when every little thing counts for much more. Girlfriends become experts on what your frame is like. They notice smaller slip-ups more than a plate or potential plate will.
/r/askTRP01/12/15 08:29 PM

Agreed. The same can be said for drugs like alcohol or even more adventurous stuff. It provides a good "reset" button for your conscious experience. After not getting drunk for a long time and trying it again, I always feel very refreshed and like I just took a mental shower.

Good stuff. I want to add that for people trying to improve their social acuity, the easiest 1 trick is to just ask people about themselves. It's cliché but for a good reason. Literally just keep asking people smalltalk questions until you find something you connect on, and the conversation will just take care of itself. At first, asking these kind of questions may seem disingenuous to you, but you'll realize being social with people is actually quite enjoyable, and you really can learn somethin…

It's not black and white. I'm not a marijuana user any longer, but high talk is not always nonsense. People can come to valuable realizations when high. However, I agree he should have edited it so that a sober person could better appreciate it.

I'll agree and disagree. I've honestly had some pretty profound realizations not only on weed but on a couple of other drugs. You're entitled to your opinions, but those thoughts remained just as profound when I was later sober as they were when I was high. I'm not a drug guy, but I think there is some value in experimenting responsibly. Aldous Huxley comes to mind, though he was a rampant psychedelic user, and perhaps not the best example. Either way, I think responsibly used, drugs can provide…

Descartes is not Red Pill because he predates Red Pill. He lived as a bad ass hundreds of years before any of us were anything. He has contributed more to society than anyone in this thread combined likely will ever. Disagreeing with Cartesian mind-body dualism doesn't have anything to do with whether or not Descartes was RP.

Absolutely. Tim Duncan, 5 time NBA Champion, 2-Time MVP had his wife cheat on him with her personal trainer. There isn't an SMV cutoff where women will stop acting hypergamously. Even if you are objectively above her SMV, eventually the well will dry and she will look elsewhere, unless your act is fucking leakproof.

Damn dude. That was intense. Also I'm definitely interested in philosophically exploring new ideas within TRP. I think it's unlikely, yet still somewhat possible that a "soul mate" archetype of a person could exist for other similarly compatible people, yet I think the context of our culture makes it impossible for this to really work nowadays. That's why patriarchy existed. That's why conservative jewish culture and muslim culture still operates very much on its own terms. They keep communities…

I typically go with the 2 day thing, and have not been having a lot of success, despite knowing they're definitely interested when I'm talking with them in person. Gonna follow this post. I think it comes down to making a stronger and longer in-person impression with them. I'm going to give you advice from my personal experiences. Not everything may apply to you, but I expect most will. Just wanna get a couple things out of the way. It's gonna be a long road. Realize this now and remember that you're gonna go through a lot of ups and downs. I agree with the other comment. Just my opinion, but in general I think you're a bit too enthusiastic and definitely validating. I try to keep texting to logistics only. Girls don't need to have text conversations with guys they wanna fuck. Maybe other guys have some different opinions on text game, but I just steer clear, as I don't see it as useful. If anything, it may be counter-productive.

I typically think that instincts will lead you to the truth in these types of situations. You can't be sure, but whether or not she has actually cheated or plans on cheating, it still smells a bit fishy. That being said, it's what Zeparic is saying. You gotta follow that advice. If you have a high SMV, you're allowed to be sweaty, dirty and smelly. I may dare to say women even prefer you that way. They'll tell you otherwise as a means of trying to betafy you, but the experience tells me they truly dig the rugged smelly alpha. I honestly shower like once a week, if even. I leak pheromones and the bitches eat it up. Now let me be clear, you shouldn't smell like a homeless man. It's because most of the men here are early in their RP development, and the rapid growth of the sub. Both reasons why the quality of most of the posts aren't as high these days. Also, this type of message just isn't going to be heeded by the exact type of people you're trying to reach. I think in general if people don't like the content of posts/comments, down vote or reply. Once you reach a certain point in your RP development, it actually becomes "just being yourself." After a certain point you won't have to think about it and you just behave in RP ways by default. Social proof is social proof regardless of the SMV of the girl. Sure, the higher the better, but even having fat girls around you will still draw the attention of nearby attractive women (given you have a high SMV yourself). Long story short: it's not a logical process for women. Social proof is an instinctual thing. EDIT: Downvote if you'd like, but give it a try. Warm up with lower-SMV girls at the bar and watch how the hotter women take notice around you.

I would somewhat agree but would say this: the external validation is the icing. An inner sense of peace and self-confidence is the real cake. Once you reach that sense of inner validation, you don't NEED the external validation, but it's certainly enjoyable nonetheless.

You're not alone bro. Still getting over my spring LTR breakup. Time is the only thing that has helped, really, besides the typical TRP stuff. The post-breakup depression can be a pretty nasty cycle, but even if you're taking a step back every once in a while, as long as you stay dedicated to taking extra steps the next day, it gets better. Honestly I think a lot of people discover TRP when they're in too deep into oneitis/an LTR. That's what happened to me. I felt trapped because I knew it was a sunk cost, but the oneitis just clouded my judgment entirely. I couldn't bring myself to leave her out of principle, but that eventually turned into paranoia and constantly thinking I was messing up left and right. If oneitis takes over you're just fucked man. Being approached by HB8+ seems to be largely situational, from what I've seen. An HB8 or 9 usually thinks too highly of herself to do any approaching unless situationally the guy is of high enough SMV. For instance, the time I get most attention from the most attractive girls is after playing a set with my band. However, I never see these girls approaching. In my head I was thinking hell no, you ain't mooching off me for attention and praise. Can't let em use you.

She's got a betabux. Saw her holding his hand walking around campus

We basically had to present something in a class, and she complimented me on it after class one day, and asked how long I had been involved in that kind of work. I had told her since high school, and she responded in a bitchy tone, and said something along the lines of implying I was full of myself. I had been on guard not to piss this girl off lest she accuse me of verbal assault or something, so I didn't respond in alpha fashion and purposely bowed out of that one. She would bring the mattress…

I was personally shit-tested by the mattress girl. I had a class with her. AWALT Edit: downvote all you want. Doesn't change the truth

Walking down the street in a big city it's pretty easy to tell the alphas from the betas with their girlfriends based on how nervous the guy looks when he sees you, and the girl's reaction will usually follow suit. Even the Blue Pillers have an innate sense of Hypergamy, they just don't want to believe it.

Not sure what to tell you, but all I can say is never use smiley faces man.

They constantly warn us about oneitis because it can seriously fuck with you. Just do whatever you need to to sever the limb.

She's not even average looking, bitch is busted. This is still a mystery to me.

Nothing you can do about it now. Just hold frame. Up the dread. Dread works wonders.

Best blowjob. Not only blowjob. Trust me I'd not still be in an LTR if it had reached that point

I find that Hispanic and white women don't age very well. I wish it were otherwise, but I've seen it time and time again. Formerly smokin' broads get real saggy real quick when they hit the wall. Asian women seem to last the longest, and black women can too.

Definitely. Dread has been incredibly effective, more than anything else, time and time again. Any more advice for facilitating dread, especially passive dread?

I also wonder about grey areas like this. Just last night, my only slip up was that I failed a shit test by one of my friends (arguing over something dumb), and I even ended up being wrong, but I admitted it immediately and just focused on keeping frame. 5 minutes later she comes back to apologize. An alpha admits when he's wrong and feels no shame in doing so, for it is part of his constant goal of self-improvement.

I'd say yes, but it's not necessary. If you're going to get into a fight in front of a bunch of women, you'll want to win, but there are also many ways to avoid the situation altogether. She doesn't need to see you win a fight if you already give her tingles.

There are still fetishists, but I'm willing to bet 9/10 are full BP, and since ALL women are ENTITLED to an alpha, the fetishists are antagonized, and invisible to the invisible women.

At first I thought this was a plate you were spinning and you were going for radio silence. I was thinking "damn he's really committed to the bit, bitch looks THIRSTY." This poor schmuck. I hope you can convert him.

Was going to say this. If you think she's actually serious, tell at least one or two people who can take care of her - family member or close friend. At that point, you've done all you need and can peace out permanently.

Just a regular TRP lurker but came to say that a pregnant wife has got to be TRP hard-mode. Hope you can strike the right balance.

How did you put up with this for the whole trip? You just bought shit for her endlessly? Hotel and dinner reservations and you had new clothes made for both of you for one night? For your ex-girlfriend? It sounds like past feelings/oneitis took over immediately and you dropped frame for literally the entire trip. You needed to shoot her down the instant she began with her bullshit, and moved to a hotel the first night if she wasn't cooperative. Did you have any other actual reason for visiting b…

You're not going to have much luck here. I'm a former Christian, now agnostic. I understand you're in a bit of a pickle, but I gotta tell you I don't think you'll ever be able to reconcile the two. How have you been able to justify it to yourself? Hypergamy, AWALT, spinning plates, AF/BB, etc. TRP is at odds with traditional Christian values. If you've come to believe that life functions according to TRP, I ask you to reflect on how it has affected you. It's gotten you all you wanted when you we…

Once you're over her you'll read these comments and laugh at the whole thing. Work on yourself and get back out there. The truth is you let her walk all over you and you have to use that now as motivation to improve yourself. Not for her, but for yourself, and to ensure you won't let another woman do that to you again.

Serious question here - as a skilled singer and guitar player, where can I go that gives me a good shot at standing out? I feel like karaoke bars have died out/are lame in general.

That's definitely a good attitude, but I personally disagree. It's not about analyzing their every move - if you carry yourself well, dress well, groom yourself well, and (if you're lucky) are attractive, you will be getting Approach Invitations everywhere you go. I'm admittedly lazy, and I only approach the women I get A.I.'s from. NOT the best strategy for everyone, but hell it works for me.
