The hot ones are also the less liberal of the group. It's the mediocre looking ones that are the outspoken zealots.

Don't get me wrong, I think ghosting certainly has its place. In this particular instance though, because she tried to force the mansplaining thing after their conversation about a shared interest, I don't see ghosting as the best option. To each their own.

The problem with ghosting right afterwards is that they'll think they're somehow justified in their stupidity. I think OP did it right by coming back with his justification for ending the conversation.

I feel for A. From her description he's a good dude and worth her putting forth the same effort that he does. Instead she wants to be a cruel, ignorant, manipulative asshole that's willing to fuck him over. As much as it's gonna hurt that dude, I hope he finds out sooner than later and can get on with his life. I bet she'll find a way to blame him for leaving though.

Why is that the standard instead of any non-consensual sexual act being defined as rape, regardless of what's inserted? Edit: it just depends on where you live, because Florida law doesn't define it that way. “Oral, anal or vaginal penetration by, or union with a sexual organ of another or anal/vaginal penetration of another by any other object.”

You clearly can't read. Physical action is called battery. She did no such thing because a few drops of red bull does not constitute a threat of physical harm. Her verbal actions are assault. "Physical assault" doesn't exist. Just because you put two words together doesn't mean it has a legal definition. Just because you're too dog shit dumb to understand the difference doesn't mean I contradicted myself at all.

By confronting him and not presenting a physical threat, dipshit. Your mother should have swallowed you.

You do know the difference between assault and battery, right? Assault is words and actions which don't present a physical threat, and battery is physical contact. Clearly he committed assault, she defended herself, and then he escalated to battery. Do you understand now or are you going to keep arguing with ignorance?

The initial confrontation, which he initiated, was assault. Her reaction was commensurate with his. He then escalated to battery, possibly a felony charge.

Getting sprinkled with redbull is hardly an escalation to physical violence.

I didn't make anything up, shitdick. If you go further down the thread there's a video she took prior to being hit, and he was harassing her. She was trying to get him away from her.

That wasnt what instigated the whole thing, it was only the last four second of the entire event.

That was kinda my point. There's a bunch of comments making her out to be the asshole as though she caused herself to get hit. The dude was being a douchecanoe, and when she confronted him about it he hit her like a man child.

She didn't provoke it. She was trying to get him away and quit telling her to show him her ass, and he decked her. That wasn't self-defense in any state, let alone VA.

Clearly he shouldn't have punched her. That wasn't self-defense by any stretch of the imagination, it was some scumbag with a miniscule brain hitting a woman over something menial after he told her to show him her ass.

No. An incident she alleges happened in their Downtown LA property. Apparently LA police body camera footage shows no evidence at the scene, any she later manufactured evidence. There are also officer affidavits where they testify that there was no evidence of domestic violence.

Resisting arrest is a bullshit charge that presumably makes people comply easier, but if you're being arrested without cause why wouldn't you resist it? Cause cops always do the right thing and would never disregard your constitutional rights? Get real.

I found a few decent women when I first got on POF about 15 years ago, but the few times I've gone to peruse again in the last few years have been a clusterfuck.

The Navy and Marine corps started 'requiring' us to do this a number of years ago. I can only speculate in regards to their reasoning behind it, but I presume they saw an increase in rape accusations and knew they couldn't all be true. The forms were little business card things and we were supposed to get them filled out by the fuckee before any drinking had occured and it had to have their name, signature, date, and time signed in their handwriting. As far as I remember it was written in fairly…

It's insane how quickly an unfounded accusation can get you locked up. Even if it's a he said/she said situation they will undoubtedly side with the woman and lock you up till you can prove yourself not guilty.

That's what I mean...everyone still says so, and I believed it until there was an accusation against me.

Suspicion of stalking, creditable threat, and some other catch-all charge I think. All the texts and emails I saved helped me prove that she was making shit up. So much for innocent until proven guilty.

Can concur. Was falsely accused of stalking and threatening a person because S/O (friend of 20 years) was lying to me about getting a divorce. When her husband found out about us she threw me to the wolves to save face with her family. I spent 2 months in jail, spent thousands of dollars on a lawyer, lost a job, was only able to keep my vehicle and apartment because I had family on the outside using my money to pay bills for me, and I lost a ton of friends. Charges were dropped because when my l…

This one looks like it's balsa and tissue paper, and actually flies - probably with a rubber band attached to the prop. I used to build the plastic ones which was fun. Tried one of these and wanted to smash it to bits. Definitely a level up because you have to be meticulous with the tissue paper and glue because tissue paper tears if you look at it wrong, and too much glue in the wrong place, or improper measurements of parts, can shift the center of gravity and make it crash instead of fly. A h…

I was in for two months because an SO filed a false police report against me. It took two damn months to get it sorted out, and the charges were finally dropped when she refused to take the stand under oath at trial because "if the truth comes out my life will be ruined". Regardless, between jail fees, lawyer cost, and getting commissary while in jail I spent roughly $10k. That doesn't even begin to account for lost work, lost freedom, the stress of being jailed for a false accusation, lost fami…

There are sometimes work details, but you have to be there a while to qualify for them, and I'm not sure how much it reduces your daily cost. I think the only place you actually make some money is in federal prison.

I think this was in Miami, and most counties in the state of Florida charge you roughly $50/day to be locked up while your case is figured out - jail food certainly isn't free. That person was lucky they were in a county with a Veteran's court set up.

In most counties in Florida you pay $50/day for the privilege of being in jail while you wait for the system to work itself out, so it's definitely not free by any stretch of the imagination.

I do like the 'white pepper for black pepper' switcharoo. And cayenne sounds like a winner, too. You mind sharing the recipe you've got so far, or at least something close?

I feel you, man. I was put in jail for two months because of an accusation. It was eventually proved false with my evidence, and her saying she refused to take the stand at trial because "if i get up there and the truth comes out it'll ruin my life". All charges were dropped against me, but my state laws wouldn't allow me to go after her because they still looked at her as the victim, even though all her bullshit claims were proven to be false. It's just super shitty to see a dude get raked over…

Citrus doesnt sound like it would meld with the cheese and crab very well, but you could always ad a dash of white wine or champagne vinegar to cut that richness. It wont take much, but could be just what you're missing.

Not in Florida. I was accused of stalking, cyberstalking, and credible threat to an individual and spent a few months in jail. All the charges were dropped once I presented my evidence against her claims, but I was barred from counter-suing her because Florida courts see that as a retribution.
