Extra facts about Cassie: She's a person I've rarely ever hung out with one-on-one, yet the first person I turn to when I'm having problems in my relationship. Sometimes we text and Facetime. When my girlfriend then displays insecurities (most likely over the afformentioned issue), I hang out with Cassie on "breakfast outings". Eehm. Yeah nah.

I had to find this article and was really appalled by the content, really effing terrible advice with gender-roles from the 50'ties. So strange that it's published in an actual news channel, even though it's conservative (Fox news). It could've never been published in my country without outrage and ridicule, but I'm really realizing how different the view of women are in the USA.

Be glad he canceled, he probably realized he wouldn't be able to get you into bed immediately, thus you saved yourself the time and effort to go on a date only to have to fence off a dudes sexual advances all night! :) Buy yourself a nice meal, a bottle of wine and a sheet mask and find a hot guy on TV to look ar (I recommend Idris Elba in Luther)

I think so many women are afraid to loose face as well.. It's still inprinted in us that if we end up alone, or unmarried by a certain age, that we are spinsters who have not been "chosen". In other words, we are conditioned to be pick-me's. But, divorced older women, at least those in my family, have chosen to live life alone after their marriage ended, and seem very happy doing so. I would definitely choose that life over livibg with an old, grumpy POS.

Oh dear god, leave immediately. You already know this is some serious bullshit, this guy is doing everything he can to trample all over your self-esteem, and if you're still with him it's definitely working. Being alone and making some new friends will feel a thousand times better than this. Book an appointment with a therapist and pack your bags.

This article is so cringeworthy and just illustrates this guy's inability to connect with women on a deeper level. Besides, in his picture I really don't see a wealthy, healthy 30-something adventurer, I see a bald basement dweller with patchy beard and two washed out sweaters, standard ikea-couch and ugly curtains for his rotten apartment. No wonder he hates women, they probably barf at his ugly personality.
