Legally they can and the UK law knows this, but it’s still fucked up how it’s immediately assumed as the man’s doing in this and most likely every example.

My story is nowhere near along the lines of discriminatory, but definitely more biased. I had an English teacher a couple years ago. She would hand out sheets, but always skip the boys until she did all the girls. I don’t mean completely skipping the boys and giving out all the sheets to the girls first, but if the structure of the table was “boy, girl, boy, girl”, she would skip the first boy (which she had no reason to since the first boy was the closest to her) and move on to the first girl, …
