On average, Trader Joe's is much cheaper than most grocery stores because they mostly offer private label products. Bristol Farms, on the other hand, will bleed you dry.

Yeah, I would avoid the 'yer purdy' bit. Most beautiful women get that a lot from guys and the idea is to stand out from the rest. Maybe a unique compliment about something she is wearing like, 'those are some ass-kicking boots you got on there!'

I think it works in certain contexts. We've all been in a social situation where there are friend's of friends and for some reason you haven't been introduced. This approach works well in that closed circuit situation. In a club, it would seem weird and would be best to open with something a little more interesting.
