All my life I have realised that so many of my arguments with the opposite sex stem from the fact that I refuse to nod and hmm for everything they say. God forbid I have an opinion which is contrary to theirs. Immediately they take it as a personal offence and either stop talking or bully me. Whereas with my girl friends, it's always the opposite. We love it when we have opposing view points, new things to add to the conversation. We disagree, agree, reach middle grounds but it never affects our…

I'm always going to be a feminist whoever judges me for it or claims to be one to fool others, I don't care. It's a very sacred process passed down through so many generations of women, allies, really anyone who faught for self respect. There are many people who muddy the term, ruin the significance, debate schools of thought. But the same can be said for anything. For me feminism promises the possibility of a new dawn, of change, hope to so many marginalized people waiting for world to take not…

This is exactly it. They cannot digest women having anything to themselves. Notice how he always wanted to use that hair towel. There might be hundreds around but he wanted hers. This is about pushing her boundaries, about testing just how much something means to her and what happens if he will take it away. I have seen this pattern in my own house so many times. Push and push and push about a tiny thing important to women, that would absolutely cost them nothing to uphold but once they get upse…

Ya season one is almost unbearable, you can just skip it and start from season 2, it's definitely worth watching this show.

Leslie and Ben from Parks and Recreation. They're my favourite fictional couple because they go against the narrative that two highly ambitious and competent people cannot be together without one person's desires taking precedence. They both put 100% efforts into their own careers as well as uplifting their partners. Plus Ben is an all-round HVM, faithful, supportive, loving, caring and always stepping up the game.

Wow an accomplished queen with education, standards, money, looks and a monkey trying to climb that tree flaunting his gasp money? I go to "UCLA". Wherever would she find another human person with University education and earning a living? The confidence on some fools is just laughable. Have learnt in life to never be impressed by someone's confidence, it's cheap, present everywhere and all the wrong people have loads of it.

The chill I got through my spine reading this! Everytime I come across such posts my heart aches for all those women who are gaslit, put down, made to feel like they are worthless when their asshole partners are screwing them over for all their worth. I hope she recovers soon and remembers this lesson. Happy that the other woman reached out and both of them could see how much they had been duped.

I'm so glad FDS is back! I physically felt the loss. FDS provides a sisterhood of sorts, it's inspiring to hear women reclaim their self respect or move forward in their lives. Also, the amount of radical opinions floating about was another insight into what men think about women having an exclusive space for themselves.

So true! If a man constantly whines that his actions are going to be taken as sexual assault or he simply won't try anymore because of the boogeyman of "false accusations", then he wasn't ready to put in any effort in the first place. He was never going to be respectful or polite or stick to boundaries. Now he is just upset that his creepy behaviour is not going to get women and he would have to actually take no for an answer.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
