Is there something you can do to start just improving your own life and forget about your friend? Jealousy towards him will get you nowhere but bitter. And that will be your fault, not his.

The pictures you posted.. I really don’t think that’s the real you. That’s PLENTY of muscle. More than the average male and looks alone you wouldn’t have trouble getting a girlfriend. Edit: your pictures are literally watermarked. What else are you not being honest about? Why deceive internet strangers? You just want the tips but are afraid to post your real pictures? How can you get real help if you’re posting a fake you? You want a relationship? Start by telling the truth to yourself and other…

Have you tried apologizing? If you do, do it with OI. Outcome independence. Don’t do it unless you actually mean it. And don’t do it if you’re doing it to get him to respond. When your voice your needs, which is good, don’t do it with aggression. Do it in a way that shows you by default assume he is a man of good will, worthy of respect.

Because they feel powerless, emasculated, and are desperate to secure their own future and control other people. Seeing a successful man talk about how he’s sure he’s done that in his cool care is therefore compelling to guys looking for a solution to life. We’re all looking for solutions. Some are better than others.

The “cure” for you is probably going to come about not by attempting to address it directly, but by abiding in and growing in Jesus’s deep and inexhaustible love for you by grace, not of your own efforts. Even your efforts to do everything righteously and become a “biblical young man”. If you are in Christ, you are already a Biblical young man, because Christs sacrifice is better than your sin and dysphoria. By all means find a Christian counselor, and that’ll help, but God has to do the heavy l…

I’ll consider what you’re saying. The state of the world is dire, but I don’t think Peterson is quite the demon you’re making him out to be. Interestingly, Jordan Peterson was my entry to red pill awareness. 12 Rules - NMMNG - Rational Male. He’s done a lot of good. “Clean up your room,” is the same as “own your shit.” There’s a lot of common ground between red pill lit and Peterson’s lectures. I don’t think he’s getting paid by Nancy Pelosi or the UN to keep men down. Something more like the “c…

Did you choose your username based on what you’re huffing? Where are you getting this info that JP is a super secret blue pill agent? He’s definitely not popular with any feminists.

Don’t explain “nicely”. Just say you’re waiting to sleep together and if they honestly don’t want that, that’s fine they should just date someone else. You get to do what you want. Don’t apologize for it. They don’t get to do what they want with you. Use your voice and frankly state what you want and you’ll be alright.

What makes you enjoy life? Do that more. How can you excel at work? Or get a different job that you wouldn't mind working hard in? Do 10 push ups tonight. Do 11 tomorrow. You are not worthless. Life being a struggle does not make it bad or not worth living. There's nothing wrong with failing, nothing wrong with starting over, nothing wrong with asking for help. You're down, but that doesn't mean you have to be hopeless. Do you have a friend you can talk about this with in person?

I appreciate the honesty. And honestly, you clearly want her to agree to something that is not in her own best interest and long term goals. That's not how sustainable relationships work. You know that, as you say best case scenario you'll be done with her by 30 or 40. "Hey girl, I know I burned you before... but let's be together until you really hit the wall and then I can find someone younger." Wanting to be in a relationship you're just about positive you're going to end eventually is alread…

She's keeping her options open because you are. Shit or get off the pot. Be okay with whatever happens. You created this situation. As long as you continue to decide to not define your relationship with her, it will stay vague. You strangely seem to have ONEitis, you want her but you want to be free. Freedom is also in making up your mind and embracing whatever happens. Amor fati. Your reasons why you're shaky about a few years down the road.. do you know why?

Correct, if she had told me the truth I would have respected her more and felt like I could trust her. To be clear, she did not lie to me about abuse. It was about her rather voluntary sexual past. Either way, it was the lying itself that made me want to end things, not the subject matter.

Duurrr durr I cayunt reed. Disregard my comment above But yes, if abuse happened, it should be right and good for you to trust your man enough to tell him about the ugly stuff. No, it will NOT make you undesirable. I can't imagine why a decent man would feel anything other than anger or sadness for his woman who went through something awful. Oddly enough... I had another ex who would never deal with the emotional trauma from her childhood abuse. Her negligence there and refusal to talk to me (or…

Yes. Source: A sweet girl I liked a whole lot, who held a torch for me for about a year lied to me about her sexual past. I ended our dating relationship on the spot when I confronted her with the truth and she finally fessed up. Had she been honest with me from the beginning, it could have made the difference between me dumping her or not.

If you've already "married" yourselves with your oaths, and if there's literally ZERO decent pastors/priests around - why not just have a small ceremony with your family and move in together? No pastor needed! But you'd still have witnesses, and it's legit. I have friends who just went to a courthouse, got the certificate, took a few pictures and BOOM they're married. Didn't need a pastor or priest. EDIT 1: Remember, it's God who marries you. If a heretic performs the ceremony, and you both say …

What exactly is stopping you from getting married? Bring your boyfriend on here. Why isn't he marrying you? And you should probably get input from the ladies at r/RPCwomen. Yes you're sinning, that's not good. It's destructive, but you already know this. Your righteousness doesn't depend on your behavior, it depends on Christ who never leaves you and cannot become less righteous. It doesn't seem like you fully understand that. Bring your boyfriend on here so we can look him in the proverbial eye…

If all the men around you are so bad, then you should be getting female attention since you are choosing to live a better way. Why do you care about what women think about you? If you’re better than the average beta slimeball, a woman with her eyes open will notice. Having a difficult time? As Jocko Willink would say, GOOD. Now what can you do about it?

Thank you for sharing your opinion, I'll consider it. But brother, the only thing I need to do is walk with Jesus in full obedience to his word. You have yet to present me a rule by which I'm Biblically obligated to follow. I'm not trying to talk like anyone, or confuse anyone. I'm sharing my views, which I'm quite free to do here. OP asks for our views, I give mine. Should I be censored?

Fortunately for me, whether or not I know the God of scripture is up to the judgment of Christ, and not my wording or your opinion! Perhaps I'm wrong, which would be fine, and God is "outside of time". Or perhaps this is just how we culturally understand and word things. It's not necessarily the biggest hill to die on. Maybe time is a byproduct of God making decisions. I would certainly agree with the statement that God is transcendent of time, I just don't think we have to think God is interact…

The future is truly open, it does not exist, and God is not outside of time. Everything good is a gift from God, including but not limited to, faith and salvation. Calvinists and Arminians are both two goofy sides of the same overly Western coin.

So are you going to base any aspect of your self image on her? Do you like the idea of that? Or would you like to base your self image on what names you're being called here? Or would you like to base it on something else? You have options.

Thanks for that clarification +, I figured you meant something like that but there’s some really good insight there. Do you have an estimate of how many young women you asked that question to?

Clarifying: you’re saying if you’re 40 - 60 and can dance... you’re a hit with elderly ladies in assisted living situations? Well, that’s not nothing to look forward to I guess!

Because repentance is what gets us INTO heaven. The kingdom won't be nigh anymore, the kingdom will be fully realized.

Repentance is not something you do once, and it doesn't improve anything for you in heaven. It improves your life here on earth. Repentance prevents turning this life into a living hell. Nazi Germany could have been prevented, with repentance.

I concede you can be a godly man who smokes. I do, not often. (There's a bigger argument here but I'll digress.) So yes, the issue is stopping the lying and restoring trust. However, this also should not be done in an effort to appease her.

" You need to just 100% quit immediately cold turkey and your resolve to do so is the only way to win her back." No. He needs to quit, but he needs to want to and to do it for himself. For his own integrity, for his own walk with God. Your angle is very blue-pill, and desperate sounding.

You have one foot in the world and one foot in the Gospel, and you're using your cynicism as cheap, floppy excuse to sin. You say you haven't met a "real" Christian girl. Brother, no Christian female who has ever come across your path has met a Christian man who is living as God intended. What makes you think YOUR juice is worth the squeeze? Are you willing to endure hardship? Do you have faith that is more precious than gold? Quit giving your power away to outside forces. You are actually deter…

" I have a past of sexual immorality with other, more attractive women and the flash-backs of pornographic images sometimes haunt me. blah blah blah By many measures, I'm a regenerate man but I just wonder if these expectations are plainly sinful and I lack maturity (I'm barely a 1 year old in Christ) or it is just my God-given manly instincts. " There will never be a woman attractive enough to take away your flash-backs and memories. That ball is in your court, or really Christ's, but you hold …

Read "Decision Making and the Will of God" by Doctor Gary Friessen. It'll point you in a better direction that "marrying someone older than you is bad". The Bible absolutely says nothing about marrying a younger or older person.
