The only word for this article is Despicable. I've been reading through it with the same fascination one has watching a train come off the tracks, horrific but I can't look away. Here is an actual quote from the full article, "The one thing that game has really instilled in me is a literally hatred of women." This guy quite literally has some serious trust issues. The challenge I have after reading through this is to glean the good that I can, learn from the mistakes, and become a better person.

I have 0 interest in doing Sales or being a Sales person but every interest in the psychology/neurology that goes behind it and the obvious benefits to being a charismatic person.

Added these books to my must read list, how do you feel about How To Win Friends and Influence People? Relevant to Seddit? Worth reading in addition to these two? Whats the next step once I get through these books? I will touch base with this thread again when I get through the books or have questions.

Okay so being authentic doesn't necessarily mean following your immediate desires so much as being the person you want to be. The difference between following feelings/emotions and setting goals to become someone you are proud of being.

The authentic part of this article through me for a loop because I find that one's authentic self does not always fit within the confines of certain social structures. For example, I don't think its appropriate to hit on co-workers. I also don't feel like being arrogant is true to myself.

They HAVE to want to be there, have to, it cannot work if they dont voluntarily want to be there.

I feel like Im at this step in the whole process that has been covered. I'll find the best dates are going and doing things I want to do anyway and bringing a cute girl along with me. For example, its wine season and I want to get into tasting more wines so I want to go tour some wineries and try stuff out, only now I try and wait to spend the money until I can convince someone attractive to join me.

"Repeat a mantra – A mantra is something you repeat to yourself to remind yourself to stay on course. For example, you could tell yourself “Just do it” or “Fuck it,” before attempting to do something you are afraid of." YOLO If I knew how to insert a douchebag rage face I would do so right here.

I like the last bullet, put a smile on my face. Very good stuff on the whole too, thanks for taking the time to post.

Bringing it full circle, I would never have a one night stand because I think sex = STDs and Babies. So I usually go on several dates before sex happens.

My greatest fear is missing out on life. Im always disecting my decisions and plans and trying to maximize my life with the resources I have. At a certain point though I'd like to just say fuck it and live in the moment.

Seconded, all of your doubts are appearent in your behavior and it can easily come off as Desperate. She is the player right now, she told you what she wanted (no sex). She is reaching out to you for entertainment (bored as DD). I think you need to reframe, see what you want, go for it, and if rejection happens who gives a shit. If you want to get your heart involved then don't half ass it, throw your heart out, do something obviously romantic and explore the relationship avenue.

I see your point but applying the same logic, isn't the jerk also wearing PUA mask? Don't we all wear masks of some kind, that last bit aside, the rest was pretty insightful.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
