But from my experience, most of the time I've successfully gotten a second date was when the conversation was closer to 50-50 in terms of contribution. I don't know if the problem was her being uncomfortable, she was extremely talkative but she would rant endlessly about work and other completely uninteresting topics to which I have no reply to. What I've been doing is ask her a question to which I have a funny reply to in hopes that she will ask it back to me.
