This. Get an attorney yesterday.

roughly 60/40. 650 CS monthly for 2 kids until at least 2031. 0 SS. I’m in Oregon. If I had 50/50 parenting time the amount drops to $40/month… I’m working on relocating closer to them.

Spending time with the kids and not working.

2

Same. It’s horrible.

Also interested in this. Mines an unpredictable lunatic.
/r/Divorce_Men20/01/26 06:22 AM
5

totally don’t see that happening in this job market/economy but thanks.
/r/Divorce_Men03/11/25 12:39 AM
3

waiting for the hearing, the ex sent me a request for discovery to “counter” mine. fun times. fired the first attorney, the new ones following up with motions to compel discovery, since they apparently make more $ than me with their business.
/r/Divorce_Men04/10/25 08:02 PM
1

it’s performative bullshit to avoid paying alimony. hard to believe the judge bought it. can you swap out the judge or appeal this? you’re due alimony, period.
/r/Divorce_Men20/09/25 04:54 PM
1

you’re probably not unless you leave the country. you’re in too deep financially. if you want SS and CS to go away liquidate what you can and leave. note it’s a one way trip. or stay for the kids. tough options.
/r/Divorce_Men10/09/25 06:11 AM
3

20% robbed from me with CS. ex lied about income so i’m hoping to drop that figure to 1% after my hearing. apparently they make more $ than me.
/r/Divorce_Men29/08/25 03:54 AM

few months before the divorce. she should’ve tried hiding money better…my attorneys got plenty to work with.
/r/Divorce_Men25/08/25 10:05 PM
1

I meant when the opposing council asks my attorney questions…. and in turn i get the accusatory tone.
/r/Divorce_Men21/08/25 11:10 PM
3

this is my current experience. are they even advocating for us? I feel like IM the one being interrogated when the opposing party’s council asks questions.
/r/Divorce_Men21/08/25 05:24 PM
5

this. it’s so much better, and easier to track.
/r/Divorce_Men29/07/25 05:17 PM
1

that’s the best option when faced with that bullshit. that, or get them deported ☺️
/r/Divorce_Men24/07/25 02:34 AM
6

this sounds correct imo
/r/Divorce_Men14/07/25 04:11 PM
6

yup. the only method out is financial suffering or leaving the country. fun, isnt it?
/r/Divorce_Men02/07/25 09:28 PM
1

with the level of entitlement they have, the ones you’d consider a 6 or 7 think they’re a 10 by comparison. (to the overweight women which now seem to sadly outnumber them)
/r/Divorce_Men01/07/25 09:03 PM
1

i’ve asked several attorneys this very question and they’ve never encountered it in their practices. it might be something the wealthy can accomplish.
/r/Divorce_Men26/06/25 03:58 AM
3

all of the above!
/r/Divorce_Men04/06/25 05:21 AM
4

realistically probably 5 ~years younger at best.
/r/Divorce_Men14/05/25 09:36 PM
2

thanks! I’ll ask the attorney to subpoena the loan assumption documentation from the lender if she doesn’t provide them. I’m assuming she won’t. yeah, my attorney knows when there’s a large discrepancy between what’s in the bank account statements and her reported income from the LLC, something’s up ;)
/r/Divorce_Men13/05/25 01:27 PM
3

my reaction as well…
/r/Divorce_Men13/05/25 12:54 PM
1

yes, that’s what i’m currently doing. the ex hid income in an LLC and didn’t use it in the CS calculator. my attorneys filed requests for production and a modification of parenting time. this was all post divorce.
/r/Divorce_Men13/05/25 04:13 AM
6

this, sadly, is a reasonable response.
/r/Divorce_Men28/04/25 06:06 PM
23

might be an unpopular opinion but you could always get ICE involved since she’s not a citizen and she carries the domestic battery charge.
/r/Divorce_Men27/04/25 05:33 AM
4

i tried that. waste of time for me. the females there were stuck up. got nothing.
/r/Divorce_Men02/01/25 05:56 AM
6

lmao no. i was never afforded the decency of an amicable dissolution.
/r/Divorce_Men02/01/25 01:04 AM
8

zero contact. she’ll be receiving some attention from my lawyer though re: owed $. 😉
/r/Divorce_Men30/11/24 09:28 PM
1

In 10 years when the CS obligation ends, and if the job market isn’t garbage and I’m still passionate in this line of work then yeah, i’ll be okay.
/r/Divorce_Men20/11/24 06:33 AM
2

agreed. leaving was necessary to improve my mental health
/r/Divorce_Men18/11/24 03:57 AM
10

don’t fall for that shit.
/r/Divorce_Men15/10/24 04:31 AM
2

the futures bleak in tech. i’ve never seen a worse job market. add in mandatory CS and I just don’t see an improvement for years, if at all.
/r/Divorce_Men08/10/24 03:44 PM
1

yeah. take 4-5 days off before trying again.
/r/Divorce_Men01/10/24 04:37 PM
3

lol same here.
/r/Divorce_Men17/09/24 11:04 PM
3

$400 for the attorney but before there’s jealousy i’m going to be $120k in the hole after 10 years of child support.
/r/Divorce_Men15/09/24 05:11 AM
10

lol they’re mostly awful. 5/10s (at best) that feel entitled despite being out of shape
/r/Divorce_Men11/09/24 04:03 AM
2

Yeah it’s insane. Especially if indefinitely is involved. That alone should absolve you from the obligation to pay them.
/r/Divorce_Men05/09/24 03:58 PM
2

No one owes anyone the child support obligation? Huh. I always thought that was non negotiable and the “clock is always ticking” if/when a spouse wants to collect back child support
/r/Divorce_Men04/09/24 10:06 PM
4

Skip it and throw your own. I would.

/r/Divorce_Men21/08/24 08:30 PM

Lmao
/r/Divorce_Men11/08/24 04:20 AM
1

It’s awful. Better in the Philippines for me. Stuck here in the US for now.
/r/Divorce_Men11/08/24 04:19 AM
4

Yup. Happened to me. I was probably in my best shape when they cheated
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/24 01:39 AM
5

Lawyer. Don’t pay a dime in the meantime
/r/Divorce_Men03/08/24 04:47 PM
6

Yeah if you give two fucks about the extended family. I cut them right out along with her. Good riddance.

Yeah that’s 100% it
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/24 06:33 PM

Mine weirdly tried setting me up with a friend of hers…. By then I already had a gf.
/r/Divorce_Men09/07/24 06:21 PM

They’re insane.

/r/Divorce_Men06/07/24 01:31 AM

Fit women that are cool with the age and “excess baggage” mostly don’t exist. I got lucky and found one without kids, that’s cool with mine. We’re in an LDR but it’s better than nothing
/r/Divorce_Men04/07/24 01:12 AM
7

Total from CS will be 120k over a decade.
/r/Divorce_Men27/06/24 10:08 PM
3

looking into an Audi RS3… much better investment of money imo
/r/Divorce_Men26/06/24 02:31 AM
6

Should have left after finding out in ‘19.
/r/Divorce_Men18/06/24 02:48 PM
2

I never understood the hoarding. Had a 2800 sqft house and she piled tons of shit everywhere. Boxes, clothing, purses. It was insane.
/r/Divorce_Men17/06/24 02:03 AM
5

What’s really fucked up is if they impute your income…. Ignoring your current salary and expecting you to continue to earn as if you’re working OT. There needs to be a reform.
/r/Divorce_Men15/06/24 05:22 AM
2

Been on vacation and just saw this. I’m in IT. The passive income sub sometimes has some useful advice.
/r/Divorce_Men06/06/24 01:34 AM
3

Tried a few things but none of these so called “side hustles” have made much of anything. If I find something I’ll update.
/r/Divorce_Men21/05/24 12:44 AM
5

Block them and make them email you with anything relevant.
/r/Divorce_Men20/05/24 04:32 AM
1

Found someone in her early 40s with no kids. We’re in an LDR which is frustrating since I can’t see her nearly enough. She’s extremely cautious and won’t have kids without being married. She’s laid back and basically the opposite of the ex
/r/Divorce_Men14/05/24 05:22 PM
11

That’s insane. I pay no expenses but my CS is over a grand a month. Fuck this system. Now I’m forced to find a “side hustle” if I ever want to save money.
/r/Divorce_Men14/05/24 02:47 AM
2

Yeah, it’s repulsive. I found Asian women (not born in the US) mostly don’t display those traits.
/r/Divorce_Men11/05/24 03:54 PM
21

Not be a whore I suppose?
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/24 06:23 PM
3

Yeah. Hooker site. Not “dating”
/r/Divorce_Men06/05/24 04:17 AM
5

Not getting laid plus not seeing the kids as often and not having my house, not the best situation here for me
/r/Divorce_Men03/05/24 09:06 PM
2

Truth
/r/Divorce_Men02/05/24 06:25 PM
2

Yup. Gave up on the apps. They’re useless. Lost contact with married friends etc. nice trend huh
/r/Divorce_Men30/04/24 05:22 PM
3

Agreed. Females advocating for taking men for every cent there
/r/Divorce_Men30/04/24 04:51 PM
2

That’s just terrible.
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/24 02:37 PM
3

If you don’t have kids or they’re grown, I’d leave the country. Start with a passport and work visa and any $ saved. Work for the American company a bit (if it’s remote work) until you can find something local. Done. It sucks but it’s better than the current situation
/r/Divorce_Men19/04/24 02:19 PM
2

Always…🙄
/r/Divorce_Men18/04/24 06:25 PM
6

I can’t stand being around them either. I’ve dropped a couple married friends due to this.
/r/Divorce_Men14/04/24 11:28 PM
4

I’m in the same situation with CS. It’s horrible. It’s tempting to just relocate to another country so I can save money. No intimacy and soon enough no $. Fucking awesome.
/r/Divorce_Men12/04/24 07:10 AM
1

This was me. I wasn’t out of shape during the final few months. It had the opposite effect of demotivating me from going.
/r/Divorce_Men05/04/24 04:50 PM
3

I don’t know how you can tolerate that, cohabitating in that house. I had to gtfo for my mental health.
/r/Divorce_Men05/04/24 02:42 PM
1

I found my experience exactly the same as yours. I’m seeing someone in an LDR but it’s tough. I met her on a Filipino Cupid site.
/r/Divorce_Men03/04/24 05:53 PM
12

lol. What a bunch of nonsense. The never being wrong aspect just applies to most women in general
/r/Divorce_Men03/04/24 04:48 PM
5

lol. Yes I don’t know why accountability and women are like oil and water.
/r/Divorce_Men26/03/24 08:21 PM
3

Renting out a bedroom in a friends house. I could be here for years. Thanks CS.
/r/Divorce_Men21/03/24 02:46 PM
2

That’s insane. Wow. A real impetus to leave the country and get a new job in said country
/r/Divorce_Men19/03/24 03:34 PM
1

What a hoe. My only advice is to “vet” the next partner better. Look for red flags. Mine maintained friendships with all the exes, had many guy friends, and a messed up childhood
/r/Divorce_Men19/03/24 01:17 PM
6

lol anything other than “fuck off” is trying too hard
/r/Divorce_Men18/03/24 03:13 AM
1

Because it is weird….
/r/Divorce_Men17/03/24 09:17 PM
0

This too. When you have the $
/r/Divorce_Men17/03/24 09:13 PM
1

I’m in the same situation. Tall enough (6 foot). I’m not fat or bald. Decent job. Decent car. Get absolutely nothing. Only overweight middle aged women “match” me. It’s ridiculous. Currently looking to save $ to travel abroad. Look through posts in /r/passportbros for advice
/r/Divorce_Men17/03/24 04:18 PM
1

I don’t. I have to fucking spend a fortune flying out to go on dates with women I’ve been talking to for months. 🤷🏻‍♂️
/r/Divorce_Men15/03/24 10:07 PM
6

43 here. Feel the same.
/r/Divorce_Men14/03/24 11:57 PM
4

Getting tired of having to court women in order to meet them….idk how anyone over 40 gets dates
/r/Divorce_Men12/03/24 05:22 PM
2

Let’s hope so. I’d rather not be posting a year from now
/r/Divorce_Men12/03/24 03:31 AM
7

Seems impossible in this shithole country. Looking abroad here.
/r/Divorce_Men11/03/24 04:23 PM
6

Never marrying again.
/r/Divorce_Men09/03/24 09:48 PM
2

Sounds awful. Ignore that bitch. i would have felt satisfied I got her fired tbh
/r/Divorce_Men07/03/24 05:49 PM
4

Well that sounds horrific
/r/Divorce_Men07/03/24 12:00 AM
2

Fuck.
/r/Divorce_Men06/03/24 10:58 PM
1

Two weeks after the “speech” for me.
/r/Divorce_Men04/03/24 04:14 PM
2

Yup. This. I felt odd about waiting a few weeks to tell this woman I’m talking to, and I haven’t even met her in person. It’s over. Start over with the truth.
/r/Divorce_Men01/03/24 08:13 PM
2

Bumble sucks. Matched like twice, started some conversations then was ghosted. Hinge is more “realistic”.
/r/Divorce_Men29/02/24 11:20 PM
2

Disagree. You should be making new memories in new locations, not dredging up the past
/r/Divorce_Men29/02/24 08:06 PM
5

This is Divorce_Men. Post in the fem Divorce. Thanks.
/r/Divorce_Men28/02/24 05:15 PM
4

I can identify with most of it, especially #13. Shopping for an RS3
/r/Divorce_Men28/02/24 04:27 PM
13

Pass. I was disgusted with her appearance after finding out about the cheating.
/r/Divorce_Men28/02/24 03:26 PM
8

lol one of the more surprising tidbits from this was she wasn’t blocked. Mine emails me with questions
/r/Divorce_Men26/02/24 10:24 PM
0

100% this. Fuck em (figuratively this time)
/r/Divorce_Men26/02/24 08:22 PM

Total waste of $. I was ghosted after sending additional pics (she saw the profile pics)

Fuck that OP, also shop around for a side piece (still considered one?). Probably a smidge early tho but I already had one lined up. You could say our relationship was strained lol
/r/Divorce_Men25/02/24 12:02 AM
3

Awful experiences in general. The usual shit with women misrepresenting themselves and ghosting etc. Seriously considering relocation to another country.
/r/Divorce_Men24/02/24 07:14 PM
2

Yeah exactly just reads like revenge porn
/r/Divorce_Men24/02/24 07:13 AM
5

In about the same space. Looking to save up some $ and leave this shithole country.
/r/Divorce_Men22/02/24 06:55 PM
6

Good question. I’ll follow this thread. Adding my own experience: a tumultuous childhood/absentee parents.
/r/Divorce_Men21/02/24 11:23 PM
2

I didn’t neglect myself in fact I’m in better shape now than when I was a newlywed…. Most of those points don’t apply to my situation
/r/Divorce_Men21/02/24 06:59 PM
5

Bro, fuck them as much as you want. wtf. They’re doing the same thing
/r/Divorce_Men20/02/24 12:56 PM
2

Same. Absolutely shocked this person whose life was upended would block her.
/r/Divorce_Men19/02/24 05:38 PM

Nah you can still hate them.

Rage bait
/r/Divorce_Men18/02/24 04:45 AM
1

lol sorry OP but this comment is 100% on par. That’s just not how their psychology works.
/r/Divorce_Men18/02/24 12:43 AM
1

Yup. A big reason why women suck.
/r/Divorce_Men17/02/24 09:20 PM
5

lol is this post satire.
/r/Divorce_Men16/02/24 08:12 PM

I suppose I’m in a better place since I can’t stand the sight of that slut. Blocked everywhere but email. lol.

Fuck that be lucky you didn’t have kids at least
/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 02:44 AM
1

lol
/r/Divorce_Men14/02/24 02:02 AM
8

Pros. I don’t live in that house trapped in the past. Or hear her constant nagging Cons. Dating. It’s horrendous. I’m not compromising on my expectations since I’m fit. Apparently I need to be a 10/10 even when talking to 6–7s.
/r/Divorce_Men13/02/24 09:43 PM

Also, nice….👍. I’m not condoning this but I was fucking my EA two weeks after the “speech” she gave me.
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 05:48 PM

It really is looks so work on staying fit. #1
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 08:16 AM
4

I asked my lawyer this very question (only in a consulting capacity I didn’t retain him) he said he’s never seen or heard of a spouse asking for alimony after divorce documents (which presumably state no alimony) are filed. He also stated “anything is possible” just to put the fear of doubt in me.
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 09:49 PM
6

lol same here.
/r/Divorce_Men11/02/24 05:47 AM
4

That is interesting
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 03:04 PM
5

It’s bullshit since it’s so lopsided. They get to pick from hundreds of likes… the only thing kind of in our favor is dating abroad… like the Philippines. Yeah, it sucks ass. I should just fucking move there.
/r/Divorce_Men10/02/24 06:12 AM
5

Yup. This 100%
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 11:13 PM
9

Honestly, no. They come here with the same oblivious to reality bullshit my ex gave me.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 10:55 PM
7

Lmao OPs delusional if they’re seeking advice or support here.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 09:12 PM
8

Agreed.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 07:53 PM
16

This. I don’t know why women don’t understand that.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 07:34 PM
2

Yup. Can’t seem to escape the single life. With that, I barely have motivation do to anything
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 05:36 PM
11

Feels pretty hopeless atm. Hoping I can get something long term and not long distance
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 03:09 PM
4

Yeah probably 90% of them
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 04:12 AM
3

lol when did we agree to marrying hookers. Fucking Christ that’s rough
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 04:09 AM
5

No clue. I’ve tried the apps for locals and they’re a waste of time. I’ve got one pseudo long distance thing going but I’m not really feeling the same way she does.
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 03:29 AM
1

You do you I suppose…. With most humans there’s an innate biological need to be in a relationship
/r/Divorce_Men09/02/24 12:20 AM
2

Sure anytime
/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 03:42 AM

Can’t stand that upbeat attitude so I just blocked and left that cunt on mute for weeks. It’s refreshing. I communicate by email now.
/r/Divorce_Men08/02/24 12:36 AM
3

lol “the handbook”. Wish I read that handbook a decade ago
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/24 07:58 PM
2

People don’t just….go on the internet and tell lies. It doesn’t happen.
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/24 05:13 PM
1

Yeah just smash some 8s. 🙄. Just push the “bang 20 year olds” button
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/24 04:02 PM
3

Seconding this.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/24 07:44 PM
3

Agreed
/r/Divorce_Men04/02/24 03:04 PM
1

Facebook dating has hookers and pimps on it.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/24 05:13 PM
2

Yeah, I’ve gotten nothing. Cool story tho
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/24 03:00 AM
4

Zero. The apps are garbage. If you must try dating online, I’ll recommend the *cupid sites, like asiancupid, philipinocupid etc. I’ve met a couple of decent looking “real” women from that site living in the US
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/24 01:53 AM
1

I regret not initiating years ago.
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/24 09:03 PM
6

I thought a paternity test would invalidate any claim of legal parentage
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/24 08:59 PM
6

Yup
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/24 07:42 PM
6

Same. Mine wouldn’t have been able to make it here in the US without me. She came here on a student visa. Fine. I’ll throw her out with the rest of the trash. Moving on.
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/24 07:35 PM
5

Yeah for you own mental health and sanity. If you can get out, get out. “Moving on” is impossible if you’re living with the ex

In the same situation, in about the same phase. Moving out helped. I’m far from perfect and once I found out I fucked my emotional affair (in response to the cheating) within a week. I’m working on a new relationship as we speak. She’s aware of the drama and wants to move slowly. I’m fine with her decision.
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 09:55 PM

I’m in agreement here. Also you’re going to tell future GFs you’re living with the ex? How can you move on mentally when you’re literally surrounded with memories
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 05:53 PM
1

lol I need to go there.
/r/Divorce_Men01/02/24 05:33 AM
14

I would be. If they cut me out I’m done. I’ll move to another country and start over.
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/24 06:40 PM

This is not always the best path forward in preserving mental health. What if she’s going out to fuck the AP and leaving you as the babysitter at home. Just a possibility.
/r/Divorce_Men31/01/24 04:10 AM
2

This is the path. Thailand or the Philippines
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/24 10:25 PM
5

Yeah wtf happened
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/24 10:23 PM
2

I went as far as revenge fucking an emotional affair not two weeks after “the talk”. It helped get over it a bit but not as much as I hoped
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/24 07:49 PM
1

Looking forward to that day. Even seeing that face in text messaging annoys me
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/24 06:05 PM
6

Idk mine seems to have completely disassociated from me. She was talking to me like nothing was wrong the day before I got the fuck out of that house, and acted surprised that I ignored her. Total sociopath.
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/24 05:46 PM
2

Perfect summarization of mine as well
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/24 05:40 PM
9

That 180 degree flip is so bizarre. Onwards I guess. Hoping I can make it happen with someone I’ve been chatting with for awhile.
/r/Divorce_Men30/01/24 05:03 PM
2

Nice. Thanks. I’ll look for crossfire gyms
/r/Divorce_Men29/01/24 07:23 AM
1

Thanks. 😊. Yeah I don’t want to rush it
/r/Divorce_Men27/01/24 10:47 PM
1

Rofl idk why this post made me laugh
/r/Divorce_Men27/01/24 08:23 PM
1

I don’t even get to the chatting stage…it fucking sucks.
/r/Divorce_Men27/01/24 05:02 PM
1

That’s bizarre… I couldn’t imagine being with her after she’s been through a neighborhood of dicks.
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/24 08:25 PM
3

Good job bro. My only regret was not initiating sooner, after she cheated.
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/24 07:52 PM
1

Thanks man
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/24 05:55 AM
1

Agreed. I’m not staying in a marital home while the ex talks to the AP and goes out to fuck him like the slut she is.
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/24 05:42 AM
1

Yeah well I’m not seeing options here…. She’s loyal. A conservative woman from the Philippines that’s a live in nanny isn’t going to be sleeping around
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/24 05:12 AM
2

Those are my options now. Get an escort and/or spend months “courting” someone that’s out of state in the hopes of meeting maybe in a few months. It sucks.
/r/Divorce_Men26/01/24 12:49 AM
3

It’s barren out there. Good luck. You’ll get the handful of worthless advice to try the dating apps, but if those same women ignore you irl you’ll get the same experience in the app
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 08:49 PM
1

Well I’d agree with you but my biology disagrees.
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 08:17 PM
2

It’s played out.
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 07:12 PM
1

About the same for me. With the odd exception on a Cupid dating site.
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 03:17 PM
2

Tinder is ass. I “match” with bots or 300 lb women. Period.
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 03:14 PM
6

This
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 01:40 PM
4

Lmao
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 11:26 AM
1

Seriously? I had to fly to another state and even I got some. Try the *cupids and Asian women if that’s your thing.
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 10:15 AM
3

This is good advice, thanks I needed to hear it.
/r/Divorce_Men25/01/24 03:48 AM
8

Bro that’s practically a hooker
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/24 10:23 PM
-1

No, I’m looking for a long term relationship, no marriage. Yeah I’ll try to do that.
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/24 07:11 AM
1

It’s been 2 months since the divorce was finalized. I’ve been attempting to date for a month
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/24 06:43 AM
1

Thanks. Fair enough, I’m just not attracted to women that are out of shape.
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/24 05:42 AM
1

Haha I guess
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/24 03:12 AM
3

Yeah, it’s awful with children involved. I dont want to hear about what she’s doing through them either
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/24 01:51 AM
3

They seem to be. The “*cupid” sites I tend to have better luck on, somehow it’s easier to filter scammers. Unfortunately my matches and conversations are with women thousands of miles away
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/24 12:33 AM
2

Yup. About the attention I’m getting atm
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 10:56 PM
1

Yeah I needed to hear this. Thanks.
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 09:55 PM
1

I meant to edit my post. We have kids. Non communication is not possible
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 08:36 PM
1

Unfortunately what she’s doing is relayed to me whether i want to hear it or not (my children). I should edit my post. This forces me to keep some level of interaction with her
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 08:28 PM
1

Yeah I’m using a few apps. Trying to distract myself with exercise and work at the moment. The constant non responses from the apps are what’s getting to me
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 08:27 PM
2

Thanks I’ll try bumble.
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 08:17 PM
0

I’m around the Beaverton area, near Portland OR
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 08:17 PM
2

I’ll probably have to distract myself with exercise and gaming. I’m contemplating a longer term plan of moving to another country, possibly, and sending child support that way. My job allows me to work remotely pretty much anywhere.
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 08:13 PM
3

lol right
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 05:45 PM
5

It’s a small pool for sure. Add in the mutual attraction and it’s even smaller.
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 05:45 PM
3

I have to keep in contact due to the kids
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 05:44 PM
3

Fair enough. I’m great at repeating past mistakes so yeah, probably a better option than doing this shit all over again
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 04:39 PM
2

Thanks. I’ll try Hinge! Appreciate it.
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 04:36 PM
2

I can relate somewhat to this. I just hate the double standard. For us she reached the “10 year itch” instead of the more typical 7 I hear about here. By then I was keeping this shit on life support anyways and just got used to the convenience, comfort and regular sex.
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 04:36 PM
4

I can’t stand her and still argue over coordination over texts
/r/Divorce_Men23/01/24 03:30 PM
2

For real
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/24 10:26 PM
14

We would get into fights over GPS directions in her car. I would take a route I more or less thought would take the same amount of time but she would lose it if I didn’t follow them exactly. Her reasoning was I was driving her car soooo yeah I’m just glad it’s over.
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/24 07:14 PM
10

This. Didn’t realize that till we split.
/r/Divorce_Men15/01/24 06:58 PM
5

lol to most of that. Yes
/r/Divorce_Men14/01/24 02:41 AM
0

She’s probably been cheating for years. Just end it. Idk how you can live in a sexless relationship
/r/Divorce_Men12/01/24 06:51 PM
4

Not true at all. Mine almost never gave bjs and we had sex weekly
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/24 08:16 PM
3

Yup. Rarely it’s due to circumstances or medical conditions. It’s not common
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/24 07:37 PM
3

And I wouldn’t be surprised if she was cheating the entire year you weren’t getting any.
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/24 06:28 PM
2

Wow I’m relating to this one hard. I’m not waiting personally, I’ve had intimacy with the future ex about a month ago (couldn’t even get it up the last time, seemed fitting)
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/24 05:26 PM
3

Cool. Provide a counter point to my generalization with another generalization. Keep it up.
/r/Divorce_Men11/01/24 03:06 AM
3

It sucks ass. Going from regular sex to….zero attention and no mutual attraction in public is great. Life’s grand.
/r/Divorce_Men10/01/24 01:46 AM
2

Similar to mine. Initiated, cheated while overseas. Tried counseling (lol) positive she’s seeing someone already
/r/Divorce_Men10/01/24 12:30 AM
5

Me neither. Women are toxic
/r/Divorce_Men09/01/24 01:43 PM
3

Yes of course.
/r/Divorce_Men09/01/24 07:09 AM
27

This thread is fucking depressing
/r/Divorce_Men09/01/24 03:17 AM
3

This
/r/Divorce_Men08/01/24 08:05 PM
3

Yeah it’s horrible. Early 40s here and American women are….stuck up and entitled. At least the fit ones are. Unless you’re Thor it’s rough. I’m fit and expect the same from my partner.
/r/Divorce_Men08/01/24 05:08 AM
3

Yeah similar situation, a few weeks ago she was crying and wanted to reconcile. Like a fool, I did. Now she’s initiating separation and it’s about time.
/r/Divorce_Men06/01/24 11:46 AM
5

Dealing with this shit now. Married for 13 years with 2 kids. Wishing I left ~7ish years ago when things started falling apart. I couldn’t imagine another 10+ years in this toxic relationship
/r/Divorce_Men06/01/24 11:31 AM
6

Nice 👍
/r/Divorce_Men05/01/24 09:17 PM
2

lol this has to be rage bait.
/r/Divorce_Men05/01/24 09:14 PM
2

This.
/r/Divorce_Men15/11/23 12:59 AM
9

lol women are morons
/r/Divorce_Men21/10/23 12:01 AM
1

Seems off, or some bot post
/r/Divorce_Men10/10/23 06:46 AM
13

This. Ignore those ridiculous posts about finding some 8/10 20 year old. It’s fiction. Mid thirties might be more attainable
/r/Divorce_Men30/09/23 01:53 PM
3

Non existent*
/r/Divorce_Men15/08/23 12:29 PM
1

Lol no
/r/Divorce_Men08/08/23 09:48 AM
2

I had to deal with this with the Vietnamese ex. Entitlement syndrome from a 36yo lol. No, you’re not a princess gtfo
/r/Divorce_Men07/08/23 11:39 AM
1

Agreed.
/r/Divorce_Men10/07/23 06:32 AM
7

Oh look more revengeporn fan fiction
/r/Divorce_Men15/06/23 07:01 PM
1

Yup
/r/Divorce_Men12/04/23 05:17 AM
1

That’s some Fight Club level shit
/r/Divorce_Men08/04/23 07:26 AM

Reads like revenge porn fan fiction but you do you OP if true.
/r/Divorce_Men05/04/23 03:23 AM

Assuming you live in the US…. Good luck. Fats the norm. Better off looking in SE Asia.
