I’m very glad you got out of that situation.

I’d love to see an FDS poll on how many times high value women want to have “good sex” a day.

Men need to learn how to shut their mouths and leave the room when women are talking about rape.

I have dealt with an abusive ex turned stalker. I’ve given her advice and resources but this is her solution. I only know the little I do because she asked me to watch her dogs and I told her I was uncomfortable.

A coworker just realized she has to quit her job, sell her house, and leave the state because her soon-to-be ex husband won’t stop stalking/tracking her. Of course he’s a cop.

That’s why I’m here too. I want to help other women in any way I can.

LVM love to use “you’re going to end up alone” but that’s not true for high value women. They’re projecting their own very real fears. My grandmother was single by choice at the end of her life. She spent her time with a group of girlfriends who were also single because their husbands were long dead. None of them were alone. Women have each other at the end of the day. Men...well you can see how it ends up for a lot of them.

And it makes me question if they even have friendships, their understanding is so terrible. In my experience male friendships tend to revolve around an activity: gaming, sports, drinking, etc. Whereas healthy female friendships tend to be based on connection and mutual support. This sort of emotional disconnect ties into why they “don’t understand” maintaining romantic relationships. Or why they continue to base relationships on sex and shared interests then wonder why they fail. The fact that y…

I developed more than quite a few at your age from an endocrine disorder. I’m a decade older than you now and NO ONE has commented on them. I’ve never even had a man point them out. Don’t worry about it!

It’s difficult to find a man who values women but you literally can’t have a relationship with someone you don’t trust. I don’t think you’ll get very far if you think ALL men will lie to you. No, I don’t think anyone will find a single man who doesn’t watch porn but that doesn’t mean you can’t find someone who is willing to give it up to be in a relationship. A HVM would rather connect with his partner than jerk off alone in front of his computer.

You can also tell your partner your views on porn and that you would like him to refrain from viewing it. A decent partner will want to respect you.

Why are you giving him incriminating photos if you feel degraded doing so? You’re conflating your attractiveness with his approval and that shows how little you value yourself. Maybe you should read more about the strategy.

It’s an important vetting process for a long term connection. My boyfriend views sex as “just another fun thing we get to do together” rather than this big, weighty thing that it was in my previous relationshits. We established our love for each other before any of that came into the mix and now it’s just easy. Keep weeding.

Girl, this is complete low value behavior on your end. Are you capable of taking care of yourself? You are not “stuck in quarantine together” if you have your own place. It is your choice to lower your standards just so you don’t have to alone. IF he is actually a doctor and a HVM, he would never put you at risk for exposure. This is demonstrated by countless healthcare providers who are selflessly staying quarantined from their actual families. You have risked your health and comfort so he can …

Same! I was in the magazine section alone when a group of men were VIDEOTAPING ME. I ran to tell my grandmother and she said “they just thought you were pretty.” I’ll never forget that.

My last landlady was in her 80’s and spent most of her time in Hawaii. She finished her doctorate at 81 after retiring as a librarian. I rented a floor in her beautiful, spacious home while she was away. She had a nice older man who took care of the garden, trash, and general maintenance. He even offered to pick up groceries for me (something he did for her). When she came to town, she was busier than I was with volunteer work and attending social lunches with retired women who sought to help yo…

Our stories are very similar except my ex started saying he wanted children around the time I was waking up to the sad realities of the relationship. He knocked up a young coworker shortly afterwards. He called me in a panic over it and expected me to reassure him? 😂 I dated around but remained single for a long time afterwards. It’s rough out there. My current partner is younger and I am still young enough to change my childfree status but I doubt I will. Why? The whole thing seems impractical.…

It’s highly unrealistic for you to suddenly pick up a job and gain financial independence within the confines of your situation, as described. SAHMs depend on their husbands financially but they have access to all funds because they are a partnership. You are at the mercy of his discretion which means he holds all of the power. This is not a good position to be in and why all women should have access to their own funds. Local agencies should be able to help if you do not have family to rely on b…

You need to contact a women’s shelter near you ASAP. They can assist you with resources. The fact that you are given an allowance which he tracks is financial abuse. That alone is a good enough reason to speak to someone who can help you out of this situation.

Did a flower delivery that took him 5 minutes of effort really change your mind? It’s perfectly fine to be single on Valentine’s Day. I’ve never wished I spent more time with the wrong men.

Most men are just wildly unattractive. I recently picked up a few bar shifts to meet new people and the best part is witnessing these human dildos on dates with their wives/partners/new victims. It is rough out there. I’m not single but I’m so glad I kept my ass available instead of settling for a silent weekly date night with a fucking patchy potato. Stay strong ladies! 😂

Can you imagine a woman being so ill equipped to deal with basic human emotions that she has to punch something EVERY TIME she’s angry? No, we’re out here expected to manage everyone’s emotions because someone didn’t raise their son right. Hell no.

IMO this is where sex-positive feminism went wrong. Being sexually liberated doesn’t change how men are socialized to view women who give it up easily. Self respect is understanding that sex is easy for women to find but relationships based on mutual understanding are not. Sexual compatibility has more to do with communication than the actual act. That’s why waiting and demanding more holds power. Women make excuses for LV behavior because they think there’s some sort of dick shortage. There’s n…

You need to be willing to lose the friendship. I was friends with my boyfriend before I developed feelings and I didn’t act on them until the risk was worth the reward. I have enough life experience to know that remaining friends does not work long term. What kind of friendship will you have? You will give him advice about other women? Your new partners will be cool with your friendship? No, life moves on.

Exactly. You set your own standards for how you wish to be treated. When I was still in the early stages of dating my boyfriend, I went over to his place to hang out with his friends. All of a sudden they just started playing on their phones and no one was speaking to each other. I sent him a text from next to him that I was heading out because I could play on my phone in the comfort of my own home. It never happened again. We live together now and neither of us pick up our phones when we’re spe…

Why is he texting ANYONE while he is out with you? Unless it comes with a sincere apology then you should leave. Just get up and walk out.

Don’t talk about equality. Don’t talk about splitting checks. Act as if your company is worth the price of a meal, because it is worth more than that. You’re allowing a man the privilege of spending time with you. Value your time. The majority of my friends settled for LVM and encouraged me to lower my standards because they never grasped that there are plenty of dicks in the sea. Don’t even worry about it.
