You should read “Digital Minimalism” Cal Newport. In think he also did a TED Talk on the subject and wrote a (free) article about it.

As a married guy with other married friends, I absolutely cannot stand when I try to make plans for us guys to do something and I get the reply, “well, let me check with the wife,” or “let me check with the boss” (referring to his wife). Stop saying that shit. It’s pathetic.

This is not uncommon, and it’s not necessarily a red flag. I’ve dated a couple girls that asked me to go raw the first time, and my friends have also had similar experiences. Girls hate condoms as much guys do. One girl told me should would quickly dry up if a guy was boning her with a rubber, even if she was turned on. Should you bang her raw, though? Hell no. It ain’t worth it. You’ll make a habit of it and eventually catch an STI or knock a girl up.
