I think you gain confidence as you get into your 30s. Every once in a while I sit down and really think about how good my kids have it. Routine, structure, and both parents in their lives. We care enough to apply to a lottery school early. We don’t have a revolving door of people coming in and out of their lives. Our house is neat and tidy, not a filthy disorganized mess. I have relatives and friends who invite chaos into their lives and it shows in their kids. It’s just crazy seeing how much of an advantage they have over other kids their ages.

Very similar to MLM “businesses”. Very few people make any money doing it but those that do are very prominent. I used to work for one of the more recognizable MLM companies (in corporate, not as a rep) and the average made was like $100 a month. Even people who have extensive down lines and have been doing it a long time were only bringing in ~$500 a month. There were some that got in early making tens of thousands a month though which seems insane.

I do. Internships are generally through companies. In my area they pay anywhere from $15-$25 an hour. I make $25 an hour at mine now working for a small defense contractor. Companies like Google and Amazon will pay upwards of $35-$40 an hour though. It’s nuts. Cs pay in the states is really good.

Haha. I’m a senior in CS. I just finished our equivalent of that class. We started in Assembly and moved to C programming these 32 bit ARM processors. Really cool class. There’s probably a 4:1 ratio of men to women in our program. Every single woman has a lucrative internship too. My buddy even tested this theory.
