Glad to hear your pickup game is on point! :-D Book of Book is an interesting read- more philosophical than most PUA material, and quite humorous in a quirky kind of way. The spiritual stuff helped me a lot!

Sorry that you're going through this, my friend. Since you asked for books, here are some that have helped me: Spiritual: Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, Power of Now by Eckart Tolle, Letting Go by David Hawkins (this last one really helped me a lot) Practical: Designing Your Life by Burnett & Evans, Awaken The Giant Within by Tony Robbins For Men: No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover, Total Recall by Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Book of Pook Hope that helps!

use your present sensory impressions to focus you in the moment and get you out of the mental gutter where your brain has you stressing about something taking place elsewhere. Love this description, it really resonates with me- thanks!

I second "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. There's a line in there, "Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.” Maybe not always miraculous, but I think it does work.

Nothing odd about having a bf/gf in your 50s and 60s- lots of folks that age are divorced and loving life!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
