The accused served four years, she gets weekends in jail.Well sounds like you want eye for eye which seems a bit pointless, even if she served that time it a) won't make the time he served any better and b) she probably won't have as bad a run in prison most likely. I think it's overly optimistic. I'm not of the US though, for me though, prisons are about keeping the public safe from dangerous criminals, while the guy was wrongly accused, he fitted into that category. How would you feel if it happened to you? I think you have too much empathy for the criminal here and not enough for the victim. The accused served four years, she gets weekends in jail.Honestly, I agree a bit with her sentence, it doesn't do anyone much good for her to face a long prison stretch, I do think 6 months on weekends would be fairer though. The amount she has to pay though in my opinion isn't enough. It should be well above 90K. I don't know the age of the guy but he could have gone to college in that amount of time and he's lost years of gaining experience if he was employed.
