Excellent answer. It's very much a case by case situation, and I can tell you from personal experience that my wife and her ex husband get along about as well as a cat and a pool, but they still have fully joint legal (50/50 on most stuff), but the physical custody is more 90/10. The "conversation" that unfolds further down that thread is one that should make r/mensrights members feel a little ashamed. It's thinking like that which caused the problem to begin with, just on the other side.
