My bad. Yes, I'm referring to Agree and Amplify. Done properly it shows that things don't affect you the way they affect other people. As far as making someone submit, that doesn't work as a long term solution. Trying to forced things will only push people away, and that's different from leadership. Leadership is more like where you're refinishing your kitchen table and your partner takes over the sanding while you go shower, and then when you're back to it they grab you a beer and wipe the swea…

That's not what agree and escalate amplify means. Refer to the sidebar section on shit tests. Edit: corrections

The goal is for her to see you as a leader worth following, and follow you out of admiration, respect, and not wanting to let you down. That kind of mindset can't be forced or negotiated. Shit tests - if you want to find out if someone is going to be unbreakable in tough situations without just waiting for them to occur naturally, you have to try to bend them. Caving in shows weakness, anger shows insecurity, and either show a lack of self control. This is where approaches like agree and escalat…

There's a time and a place for that, and actions speak louder than words. If someone is acting shitty, a self-respecting man won't feel the need to be around that person.

Your previous comment sounds much more like the kind of boss that tries to keep people on their toes all the time, either out of insecurity or because he's trying to exploit you as much as possible. It's not a place you're going to want to stick around in if you can help it, even if the pay is good. We all know how employment works and what happens if you make yourself a liability. You can tell what's not going to fly without anything needing to be said because it's already shown in the dynamic.

The ability to say no shows security and options. It's also easier to respect people that don't seem like they can be easily manipulated.

Ask yourself, what kind of leader focuses on threats and discipline to get others to follow him? If that were your boss at work, would you want to stick around or would you be shopping around for a new job? He's doing fine. He's respecting himself and sticking to his goals over the whims of others.

The numbers are goofy, and so is arguing over exact percent. How do you measure being 10% funnier? Apply for some grant money and do a study? The point gets across - it doesn't take much to excel in a couple key categories, and you don't have to be the best to do well.

You could try getting into edging when doing solo stuff. There are also lubes that decrease sensitivity to make you last longer. You should probably hit the gym too.

Sort of works for sex too, right? Don't just put it all in at once. You've got to rub some things together, blow on it a little and really get that fire going. Lighter fluid can help too, if you want to get it going faster. Then you can and relax in the warmth, roast some marshmallows and maybe some potatoes for dinner, and sometimes your friends come over too. Just makes sure that anything else that could catch fire is safely away from your fire pit. Then when you're done, dump some cold water …

"Do you feel that? The collar around your neck? There's a container on the back. And do you know what's in that container? Two things: a microphone, and just enough C4 to painfully sever your head from your spine. Of course it doesn't always work all the way. Sometimes it'll misfire and they'll bleed out slowly instead. But no, I'm sure I've done it right this time. A microphone and an explosive. Hmm. You might asking yourself, how are these things related? Well you see, there's a countdown. It'…

The whole notion of rejection and failure is frowned upon in society, as we are put through the education system and WARNED not to fail or make mistakes. I really love this observation. Everyone grows up having it drilled into them that they'd better not screw up or else there will be consequences. If you don't get it right the first time, don't even try, because all failure is bad.

It's of the running jokes on reddit: Rule 1: Be attractive Rule 2: Don't be unattractive The idea is that conventionally attractive people can get away with things that would be seen as creepy if done by someone who isn't. But more simply someone has to already be somewhat attracted to you for sexual interest to be seen in a positive way.

You could just be one of the few people that it doesn't work for, like the cilantro soap thing or smelling cyanide, but you should definitely call some friends over to watch and make sure you're doing it right.

But how do I make myself smile with my eyes? Like this. But seriously, it isn't usually meant as literally just your eyes. Fake smiles are usually all lower face. Genuine smiles involve the whole face. What you need is sincerity. If you can fake that, you've got it made.

sounds robotic and awkward It would definitely be bad to try it in a noisy club where you're having to shout and repeat yourself, but if you say it right it won't be awkward. I'm thinking of a more playful confident tone than what you're probably imagining. Imagine a guy that looks like a young Brad Pitt that has been bartending for ten years, and how he would say it. To go on a tangent, bad timing and delivery will ruin anything, but I'd say the opposite is true as well. Comedian Al Lubel has a…

If you know mixed drinks and related trivia well you could turn asking for a drink into an opportunity to demonstrate value. Same kind of thing goes for beers as well. This assumes you're in the kind of place where you can actually hear each other. "You should buy me a drink." "Oh yeah? What do you like?" "How about a Mojito?" "Oh, if you like minty things then you might like a Mint julep. It's like a Mojito but with Burbon instead of Rum. It's actually the traditional drink of Churchill Downs a…

tl;dr "be a man" Be tranquil as a forest with a fire within. Once you find your center you are sure to win. You must be swift as a coursing river. With all the force of a great typhoon. With all the strength of a raging fire. Mysterious as the dark side of the moooon. Time is racing towards us, till the girls arrive. Head my every order and you might survive. You're unsuited for this dating war so pack up, go home you're through. How could I make a man out of you?
