Even if we put aside Josh Duggar ... why are his parents given a pass for allowing this to continue? He was underage ... his parents were meant to be protecting their children in the house.

Did I say that? We are discussing specifically sexual crimes, I spoke to those.

I'm a feminist (let the downvotes commence) but there's no fucking way a woman should get off with anything less than a man when statutory is on the table. A child is a child is a child, and if you fucking sexually abuse a child, it's not lucky or cool, it's fucked up and sick. These women deserve harsh sentencing.

I will put aside the part where I'd put real money on this being fake and say if this ever happened an immediate injunction through family court would be the way to go. However, no doctor would do this given your alleged wife's alleged ideas about circumcision.

Emotionally it's a mixed bag for sure. I don't like hormonal birth control because it alters my perceptions, makes me more easily upset. That is true, Cramps wise though, and even labor pains- those I tolerated too, because it's intense but it's not injury pain. I had a c-section but I imagine natural hurts. The contractions are like muscles being worked hard is all. I mean is there pain? Yes. But it's productive pain. Electrodes on the coliones is totally different. :)

I'm a single mom and this is offensive. A lot.

Not the topic at hand but I will tell you a secret about menstrual cramps (of the standard variety type.) They're pretty much bearable. I've had bad cramps and a miscarriage AND I am very, very bad at tolerating injury, I'm not a good patient. Even when menstrual cramps are intense they are mostly bearable (for me at least) because the part of your brain that registers pain=danger is suppressed, so it's more akin to post workout soreness than post injury soreness. TLDR, yes, testes-electrocution…

Ugh, this is so disgusting :( I had to look at NickMom the other day and it made me pukey BEFORE this. The mommy martyr thing has to end if we ever want fairness.

Uh, yes, this person was mentally ill. This is not a "pussy pass."

I totally agree, and I am sorry you had to go through that. It is cool though you can talk about it and realize that it happened and it sucked. Lots of people won't even admit it to themselves because they can't handle that sort of knowledge. There is no justification ever for at least not leaving the door open because I don't think if a parent is as crazy and immoral as OP's ex the kids ever are that blind. They may cope and be traumatized but they are not going to think "this woman is an angel…

You're 100% right. There is zero logical reason to shun the kids even if one parent is nuts. Walk away from court? Sure. Drop the fight? Absolutely. But there is no logical justification to say you'd turn your back on your kids, who can't possibly be any way at fault. While family court is infuriating and unfair, such an assertion is not the sort made by a genuinely invested parent. I'm also weirded out by assigning gold digging motives to little kids. Who seriously imagines their child will be …

Don't have the mindset to get laid. Have the mindset to have fun and socialize.

Thanks. :) I just hate to see people think everything is based on tricking. It's not. I do think it takes a loooong time to find someone good and personally I dislike weddings and I feel men are emasculated a lot by like, stick figure families and embarrassing FB posts so I think if a guy feels like I do, man it must be hard.

I once loved someone a lot and they died. Bad shit happens, but like... everyone wants someone who wants them badly, who fucks them regularly, who likes the same shit and wants to take care of them, right? Statistically your girl was perhaps an inevitable bad experience, but even if marriage and kids isn't your goal, plenty of girls are like that too. Everyone should know that statistically speaking, you can find someone like that and lots of people do hurtful things but it's never out of spite,…

Can you show me one place where anyone, anywhere is advocating for not letting this guy do this and trying to stop him?" No? Not one? Nowhere? Waaaaaah.

Out of all the people I know who had baby boys around the time I did, I was the only one who didn't snip him. It's really sad when you hear the justifications- my sister just had a baby and she would have done it if the baby was a boy, because you're "supposed to." My babydaddy is from Ireland and he accosted every single person who entered my hospital room from the nurses to the cafeteria workers to tell them that under no circumstances should anyone touch our baby's penis.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
