Why is it that the ties that bind us closest also cut the deepest? Dude there are varying right answers here, but none of them are easy. Keeping in mind that it's your mother with all the emotional and moral complications that brings. To me it becomes the question of where you want your personal boundaries to reside. I wish I would have known better about the manipulative nature of society and people in general. More so I wish my parents were more emotionally healthy people.. I was born in 1985 and came of age right as the internet was actually gestating. Things like depression and anxiety were approached much differently back then. Hell I didn't start putting the pieces together untill I was about 26.
