We're not born stronger. It happens in puberty.

But keeping your mouth shut is an important skill to learn. I work for a company. There's someone here who probably has way different views than me on abortion. If they speak up, they can make the workplace tense. If I argue back, I've just made the whole situation my problem. Best way to take care of yourself and your rights is to learn when to fight those battles. In a middle or high school classroom is not the right time or place.

Enjoy high school and don't debate with kids. Learn to walk away from these debates because that will help you a lot in life. When the people around you are all older and mature enough to have discussions, have them, but that's not your situation right now. Arguing over shit like abortion with other schoolchildren: A) won't change any of their views B) won't make you feel better C) is an unwinnable argument so won't make you feel morally superior. They'll always have another comeback. That's the…

Apology rejected. I don't want to be called a rapist because some men rape. You don't need to apologize for women who are weaponizing feminism and their genitals against men. Carry on.

You literally said "if you're phrasing it as anything else..." You opened yourself up to whatever context I wanted to throw. Edit. Sorry you didn't make the comment I was replying to. But see above as to why "different context" is irrelevant in the context of this comment chain

Yeah except when I go out with my buddies and I'm running up to the bar I've had buddies respond that they do want a drink. Thing is they know they'll pay for it they just don't want to have to physically go get it if I'm delivering. Different people think differently. If you think that everyone whose ever said "you want another" was volunteering to pay, you're the one thinking in absolutes, which almost never hold true.

Shitty people exist on both sides. I, for one, will tell you you're virtue signaling, IF I ask for facts or numbers and get something that isn't factual in response. Example: I debated a guy a few times who was very liberal and I asked him to cite a source when he claimed "Democrat voters are more educated". He cited no source. He was making an emotional argument based on "more educated" = "more intelligent" = "vote should mean more" I called him on that. Id do the same to anyone who makes a cla…

Dillon's (Midwest Kroger affiliate) carries a small brand razor that's like 20% the price of name brand if you don't want to go the dollar shave club route and prefer to shop in store. They work well, I like mine.

If you replaced "elderly women always take interest in children" with "elderly men..." Would you still think it's not a bad thing really? Because if you can't replace women with men in your comment you just made the point of why it IS a men's rights issue.

Eh I'm in a mood too. I was exceptionally bitchy in my second edit of my parent comment lol. Likewise friend

You clearly didn't get it. You have no idea what my "agenda" is, but I edited my parent comment for clarity. Please read it

https://youtu.be/TM4xVv0qWBc Don't have time to find the exact soundbyte because I don't know the name of the joke, but it's in that special which is hilarious if you get time to listen to it.

Daniel tosh does a joke about this but about the woman. Says being infertile is God's way of saying you don't deserve a kid. Then turns the joke towards adoption and calls the infertile women who won't adopt selfish. I'm guessing these commentors wouldn't like that bit much. The above seems to be confusing so... edit: Daniel tosh is a stand up comedian. He has a joke that infertile women are being told by god that they don't deserve to be mothers. He also jokes that if they won't adopt they're s…

For as cynical as it is, I hope that these children bankrupt their abusers with medical bills. I feel so badly for those children. Their abusers deserve lifetimes of being broke and struggling if the system won't hold them accountable

But the fact that there's still a time limit at all is the problem. With a 90 minute time limit, males outperform females 2:1 (based on the article, I suspect this is because of enrollment discrepancies in math and cs) so the time limit was relaxed to help women compete. But the fact that the time limit still exists (105 minutes) implies that they want to measure a student's ability to answer questions within time pressure. If they didn't care about time pressure there would be infinite time. So…

Context is very important. But despite being an underweight premie, a life is defined as a life legally. Euthanasia and mercy killing is illegal for the elderly and terminally ill in America, so that bit of context about the baby being small and premature is irrelevant.

On this topic, just saw a post that women DOMINATE college enrollment in everything except basically physical science, math, engineering and computer science. They actually have the edge in stem overall because of medical and biological sciences. There's no lack of women being admitted to colleges. Not my fault they don't want to learn comp sci.

Imagine it... My friend I walk for my masters in engineering tomorrow and I chose to get that masters because I'm living it. My resume can't be equal, it must be better, or I will lose. Worked full time because I need that experience too. Start the PhD in 6 weeks. Will still be working.

Except it's not. That argument doesn't hold up when it's used in abortion debates because "sex is a biological compulsion" and that includes real debates in legal settings. That logic also doesn't work in the debate about subsidized female birth control. Can't use an argument against men that isn't allowed against women. Sex is a biological compulsion necessary for survival. We're wired for it and society has decided that your argument has no weight

She doesnt care about any men. She actually doesn't care about other women either, her feminism is a way for her to project everything her self centered ass wants onto society to hide behind the shield of a "cause" when she acts like a self centered bitch. This comment is almost certainly rooted in her getting shot down by a guy, and her whining and thinking "I have a vagina he should fuck me, I deserve that because I have a vagina" But that's too selfish sounding. So she hides behind feminism a…

Some people don't get this. You CANT tell her not to cut her hair, but you absolutely CAN tell her you won't date her if she does. That's her choice.

Maybe obstruction if it hinders an investigation. Not saying that applies to either article and I'm not a legal expert, just that's one way I could see it being criminal. It would depend on circumstances

It's their title to use or not. They have every right to do so as they've earned it weather they choose to or not. Also you called out PhD holders. Move the goal posts again. Just shows you can't defend your original point.

PhD literally stands for doctorate of philosophy degree. Medical doctors and PhD holders are equally doctors. Md stands for medical doctorate degree. They both use that same word, doctorate. It's not some bullshit academic dick measuring, they both have the title of doctor. Your opinion on the matter doesn't affect reality.

My mom is an MD and my aunt is a PhD and they both go by Dr when they feel like it which is usually any time they're in a formal enough situation to be referred to by last name. They both also wouldn't be offended by this situation. Moral of the story is a) anectdotes mean nothing and b) if THEY earned that title YOUR opinion on when it should be used doesn't really mean shit

The article references that he's trying to debate a liberal with more power and influence than him... In what world is this girl whose been known for 6 months and hasn't won anything but a primary bigger and more influential than Ben Shapiro? Ben Shapiro who has had a media presence for going on ten years and is widely known on both sides of politics. I was first made aware of her existence weeks ago via meme.
