Very interesting thank you! I wish I felt that way in the 10 minutes after sex... Not really close to that feeling for me.

I agree and I don't really see it happening the other way around. I've never really seen any girls in my life pretend to be something they're not to secure a relationship. Oh actually I suppose the "cool girl" thing. But that's not the same to me. The thing about lovebombing is that apparently it works. So the more selfish and sociopathic the guy is, the more they try to present as something they are not just to pull out the rug later when they've gotten what they wanted. Crazy stuff. Sorry I am…

This is more of an unseen phenomenon. And I don’t think people recognize the importance of it. Agreed. It's all very exciting.

Depends on our age, relationship, stage in life etc. Totally different if we have kids and are 40 vs newly dating and like 25 (which I am not any more) Assuming were' talking about 25 and dating. I'd say once they hit the 25 - 29.9% range based on the image I just googled. Even then it's not 100% many women are at their healthiest in that range? Race plays a role in different bmi's too I think. If we're married and have kids they'd have to be in the 30% plus range and have stopped trying to be h…

I think it's the same women insisting they have to wear jewelry that also insist men pay for dates. I don't really run into these women in the dating world but they seem to overlap these two things

I think a lot of niceguy types see their sexuality as sexist, creepy and degrading so put on a persona of nonthreatening innocence. Then think women like assholes when guys who act more normal get with the women they like. But they over correct and dial it up to 11. This makes a lot of sense.

I have a group of friends that are about 26 years old and all girls (about 4 girls). I am 32 so take that into consideration. I have a girlfriend also. They are just friends. Over the past year they have become much more radically "woke". It is really fascinating to witness. They have become like a swarm of reactions and emotions. I think it's usually based off stuff they watch on tiktok. Not sure if anyone else finds that interesting but I sure do.

We didn't know! Idk that's how I feel. I never truly understood how important it was. I literally thought girls were not into such manicured men. It's one of the most eye opening things about this subreddit. It's actually really easy to just, try a little harder. And for me the results have been noticeable. Why do so many men refuse to looks-max? Being fit, relatively muscular, or semi-jacked can do wonders for a guy's dating life. Why do men refuse to do the work? In this case, most guys do n…

These kind of make sense to me. Having a harem of 3-5 extremely attractive men who all gangbang and creampie me whenever I wanted. When I talk to girls who are my friends this type of thing comes up often. The gangbang part. The harem part is just a creative addition imo.

I've been going to a rock climbing gym for a few weeks and it's awesome. The guys there are... so fit and attractive. Fingers crossed I can get that fit and attractive too! The girls are also fit as hell, but there is like a 3:1 ratio of guys so I'm talking about the guys.

You're arguing against your own delusions at this point. This is all I needed to read to tell you're being weird. The person who is delusional is probably the one who thinks everyone should be polygamous because you wanna be. Im so on board with more polygamy! That sucks. Red Pill as it is seen in the zeitgeist and "taking the red pill" as it is meant to be talked about here have become 2 different things. she was the type that was demanding, making him pay for everything, berating him if he was late, always arguing. very entitled. she ended up freezing him out, and they did a fwb thing for a minute (bc he couldnt let her go) I was wondering what kind of guy gets stacy widowed, and I think it's the same type of person who puts up with this kind of behavior. Hey I commented above about your other post! Before reading this. I think conflating "alpha" and "sociopath" is a you problem. I think alpha is a stupid concept but still let's just call sociopaths what they are so we can move on together. Plenty of people are "beta" and sociopaths. etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 08:55 PM

Sociopaths can't be trusted with kinks. They might be red/black pill. They might not. But you mean to ask about sociopaths and the answer is no they cannot. I am a man and I'm sorry for my input.

I think because most guys would rather have the quick hot sex than the decades together. And if the guys get the "decades" but not the "hot sex" they feel undesired forever by their partner. furthermore I think a lot of straight guys have FOMO about not having hot animalistic sex and it is pretty much one of the main reasons for complaints from men on this sub. High N count: FOMO idk that's just my interpretation. tldr its FOMO

I’d figure out pretty quickly that this is the type of person who wants to wait for sex, which is cool but generally not my type of person to date in the first place. So technically no, but I never really date girls to want to wait.

This gets talked about a lot on here right? Its a fairly common take by the girls here from what I've seen. There are a lot of ways to interpret what this means but one thing I've seen as a response to this is that most men are absolutely not attractive enough to women until a connection is made. Based on this theory, many of these unattractive dudes can become very attractive to you once you two have a rapport together. Anyway that's just how I compiled what I've learned here whenever this subj…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 11:11 PM

sure fair enough. I tend to respond disagreeing to the women on here more often than the men. Even though a lot of men have some pretty stupid takes. So that's my bias I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 10:59 PM

I think there are tons of Red Pill guys here that are neither of those and they are constantly trying to make the same point. I think many of the most consistent commenting guys on here consider themselves red leaning, not angry, and not an incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 08:49 PM

I'm always fascinated when I read from the guys that do it for like a year or more. They claim it helps them out and they are on another level. But they also sound coo coo crazy as well when they describe it. Like ok that sounds awesome but also I think you aren't making that much sense in the paragraph you just wrote? Anyway I'm not sure when I'll ever get to try it, but it seems like a bucket list type of thing to try at least once. Good luck next time you try! sounds difficult.

These are the types of people who..... I think this is your problem. Idk if its called strawman or what but like... what are you even talking about. I agree. I learned a lot more about that from being here. Still though, it ends up rewarding bad behavior in guys, and then other guys try to copy what they think is attractive asshole behavior. Not directly the fault of girls but interesting how it fits into everything

No I think you live in a world more in your head than in reality. In your head the world bends over backwards for women and you are just this poor little victim. I think your victim stance is pretty weak and not interesting

I would be a switch! you asked me right? If I was gay would I be a top or a bottom? I'd be a swiss army knife. Sometimes I would just watch too. I'd be famous in my local gay community for my passion and versatility

You sound like you learned about love from 1 Disney movie and stopped learning since then. Are your parents in love right now? Are your friend parents? Look around. You can fall in love and you can work to maintain it and it can change forms as you share your life with someone and all that if you and the other person constantly put in the work.

Typically there are way more problems with the types of guys saying that. They don’t seem to believe you can be friends with women etc. I agree it’s sad to realize just how many guys feel this way, but they aren’t the majority

The amount of men that want to take away women's rights so they have to be dependent on men again is funny to see to me It's probably the most depressing thing I've learned from being on PPD
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 07:47 PM

I read all of this and Im gonna jump in here. I'm in a similar sitch baresquad, but I'm 31. I am starting to settle down, possibly with my current gf for good. I do not think the quality of woman will go down for me when I'm 33. But "playing the field" has been essential for me to find out what I want in a partner and in myself as a partner (read husband/father)

I have had friends like this. How old are you all now? Many of these types of girls really truly never figure it out and they make themselves miserable eventually. Many are stuck in this cycle because they are average. Hot enough to get enough attention to have a skewed SMV, but not hot enough that any of the guys actually want to stick around. Anyway.

I think people get lonely at home and you can just play the dating app game from the comfort of your couch. Then a lot of guys are reminded that they are not desirable enough to get matches based on their profiles. Then they get mad. Delete app. Repeat in a few days. I think the hope "it will be different this time" is always there (even if they have not changed anything that might increase their chances).

how old are you? I agree based on what I see around me: for relatively fit, normal, successful 30 year olds in Northern California I'd say you are right. I have a feeling its all different now for Gen Z. But I'm basing that on what I read on reddit sooooo

yeah for sure. A lot of people (guys) aren't able to move past obsessing over sex. For a lot of them it is because they have never experienced it and it feels low on their hierarchy of needs (high? whatever "essential") . for most people "Just stop thinking about _____ trust me your life will be better when you do" doesn't really work. Even if you're right.

Seems that men will be intentionally vague. Other men are just legit are uncertain about what they want because they don't know themselves. Men will also sometimes change their mind as humans are wont to do. How do we (women) separate these men from the actual dude's who were lying? Seems the default is just to assume everyone is lying. yes I agree. Instead of figuring out which of these types the person is, just avoid them altogether.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 07:05 PM

I think I'm going against other responses when I say yes I think people do this all the time. We can't draw the line between when they are lying to you and when they are lying to themselves. We just know they had a change of heart. After having sex... "At the time I thought maybe we could have a relationship but now that we've had sex I'm pretty sure, no we aren't compatible" No one will ever know whether this person is lying to you, themselves, don't think so far ahead. I got a call from bachelorette cuz a friend sent them my photo/info. I said "no I hate the concept of the bachelorette it's depressingly fake and shallow" dude said "haha you sound like you'd be a perfect candidate" I said no
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/22 09:04 PM
1

nah cuz its a really lazy strawman. I don't even care to say women are any less loyal than men, I think disloyal people are disloyal. but this is what you are saying: every girl is disloyal cuz probly they are with some boyfriend who wont marry them so why be loyal checkmate. which also implies that you think you shouldn't be loyal to a partner unless you're married? which is a whole different silly thing to say. Unless I'm missing something?

I want to answer this as a dude with experience in this: I have many platonic girl friends. They are fully aware that I would bang if ever given the chance. It has happened and may very well happen again. I do not personally think this means the friendships were never really platonic in the first place. Yes it can ruin the friendship. Short answer: guys usually say yes to sex even from platonic friends and girls are aware of this.

I stopped going to the gym and now just use rings/do bodyweight fitness. I am only trying to look fit and aesthetic but I am so glad I switched and got out of the gym. Only thing I miss is squats and deadlifts (Chicken legs over here) Anyway just wanted to add my anecdote that I am gaining muscle outside the gym and you can too if you can't fit the gym into your current life. P.S. I plan on getting a squat rack in a year and these chicken legs will one day become tree trunks

a lot of people do this kinda sub/dom stuff and assuming everyone is communicating and on board with it, they seem to really enjoy it.

Haha I agree with you and that's funny
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:26 PM

Girls very frequently talk about how they regret trying to sleep around with a lot of guys. How very often the guys are terrible at sex and there's no relationship or intimacy. In hindsight they tell themselves they were just seeking validation (probably true). Of course there are a few girls that really enjoy it but they aren't the majority.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:25 PM
1

you just gotta go find the women that don't live in clown world. They're literally everywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:21 PM
2

Maybe we can implant in their head an attraction to men that is stronger than it is for women. Then these guys can just bang each other and stop bothering women. I'm 100% serious and would be down with having wayy more gay dudes around theyre pretty cool
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:17 PM

As someone who has been lucky enough to live a very privileged life I have no choice but to believe you.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:15 PM

I learned this the hard way. You have to kind of make a scene to get noticed by most women. But once you do!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:14 PM
1

Lol ya. I love going to airports and people watching. So many attractive women. And if you use the "people movers" you can go twice as fast and see twice as many people

2

haha damn that's a good take.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:05 PM
2

The whole cycle is messed up I agree with you. I think the best way for us to get out of it is to keep educating the girls at a young age. This is why I'm stoked about places like /awomanstoolbox or whatever its called I think the fact that we are learning how to identify the patterns of troubled people (males) we are better at a society at calling them out and protecting our teen girls so they don't become "crazy bitches with trauma"
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:04 PM
2

I agree with the way you put that
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 08:41 PM
2

Expecting a girl to put out on a first date is crazy and only all the wrong guys "expect" it. That said. I have noticed that the types of girls that I have slept with on the first date end up being the type of girl that I like and has similar core values to me. On the other hand I have dated girls where we were friends for years before ever becoming intimate. example I've known my gf for 10 years. Anyway if you meet a guy and he hints that he expects sex on a first date run away as fast as you c…

2

I'm a man and I prefer you in your comfortable clothes.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 08:09 PM

ya good take. But I think the biggest difference is the sexual desire difference. Men here fear that if they are beta buxxed then their wife has no desire for them. The man will still have desire for his low N count wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 07:50 PM

The irony is that I don't take advice from doctors either. Not unless I need surgery or something like that.

Lol that was the first thing I thought too.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 07:46 PM

I think the best advice you could get would be from a therapist. In that you are mostly just giving yourself advice and the therapist is just a vessel.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 07:46 PM

seems unlikely. I could see a scenario where I and a girl both became widowers and found each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 07:45 PM

Next time just take her to a really hip local diner or noodle shop or taco truck or something. It’s not the price difference it’s the fact Applebees is a chain and it sets the idea that you’re boring

/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 06:30 PM

It's nice to find the right amount of "chase" that works for you. A lot of girls will give you an in and then want you to play the game of chasing them. Other girls you need to make yourself noticed at all. I agree with you but I'd say change the way you look at "chasing" as more of a flirting song and dance and less of an efffort
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 06:25 PM

Man, ladies gotta stop falling for the lovebombing. It's cringe to see guys do it and its cringe to see girls fall for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 06:21 PM

You don't have to do any of those things (except have enjoyable sex probably) and still be a successful guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 06:15 PM

Its liberating to finally fully understand the amount that women are superficial and not delude myself. But I wish everyone both men and women were less superficial and unfortunately it seems people are becoming more superficial with social media. The good news is that there are enough people in the world that it's not that hard to surround yourself with friends and partners that have more substance and arent as superficial.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 06:12 PM

women know of the truth but can't identify it from man to man Mostly not their fault the deceitful men are very good at it. They get burned and in hindsight realize that most men do not have their best interests in mind. Most of their exes. Then if they're lucky they just end up with a decent man. If it sounds like I'm trying to lay the blame on women, sorry I'm not.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:19 PM

I agree with you. I think the pinnacle of maturity is the ability to be immature. Louis CK has a silly joke: "You don't have to be smart to laugh at farts but you have to be dumb not to" Conversely, taking life too seriously is a huge sign of immaturity imo

This is a classic tip from the old pickup forums. It works for many reasons beyond this but it works. Also, don't kiss her on the first date, I've always heard the opposite and done the opposite. The old theory was, unless you establish yourself physically, either with kissing or touching, you are not establishing yourself as a sexual/romantic interest, and therefore she will literally forget about you while she has tons of other dudes from OLD lined up. You won't get to a second date. maybe y…

I think Tater Tots are such a great way to have a potato. I know that Ore-Ida invented them as a way to use the leftover scraps from their other potato products but honestly--kudos to them--tater tots are delicious. I would put them in the top tier of all potato type foods. Along with curly fries, shoe string fries, wedges, scalloped potatoes... damn the top tier list doesnt end for potatoes. But Tater Tots are in it that's for sure. Honestly every way to eat a potato is top tier except for bake…

So in your opinion why they are doing all of this? Making it seem much worse than it is? Is it to "manufacture consent"? Also, how much does it upset you to get vaccinated? Is it a freedom of choice thing or a fear of vaccines? Or something else. I'm genuinely curious because I personally have had the vaccination and the booster and still got Covid and just truly do not care about any of it, mandates or freedom of choice or any of it.

Ignore the bemoaning of "your being fake inauthentic!" No one cares. Definitely agree with this part 100% Do not be afraid of learning how to use social cues to your advantage. It is not your fault that everyone else is "speaking" some non-verbal language with their bodies and their tones or whatever that you struggle to pick up on. I say this as someone who is very much not on the spectrum

dammit I got swept up in a hypothetical again. Trust me I am not disagreeing with you but, who said you were blindly believing a stranger? You didn't even mention that the friend claims to be innocent. Most of all why are you blindly believing your friend? Why do you blindly believe anyone ever? Do you blindly believe your parents? Why tho? Apparently you blindly believe in your judgment of your friends morality. I would say you shouldn't even do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:16 PM

Hey that's what I was going to say.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:09 PM

ok I'm fine with that opinion. Just sayin' you're putting a lot of value in your ability to tell if your friends are capable of something like that or not. Most people have proven they are not that good at reading people.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 09:29 PM

Poet Jorge Luis Borges says take more chances. He spent his whole life being too cautious and now that he's 85 and it's almost over he regrets not taking more chances. Do you agree that its better to have loved and lost than never loved at all ? He doesn't answer this question directly but I think he would say yes, because in the end you lose everything, all you have is memories. Then you die. lol it's a short poem!

Im gonna keep rambling... I used to live with a gay guy from France. I lived in the same room as my GF (in Portugal). Whenever I was chilling on the bed by myself he would try to come and lay with me. It was a thinly veiled joke and he made me uncomfortable in my own place and I did not like that. Other than that, though, he was a fun dude and he gave me pretty good haircuts for free.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/22 10:11 PM
1

Sounds fun lets do it. I actually used to take girls from OLD on dates and we'd eventually end up at this gay bar (it was just around a bunch of other cool bars in SF). It seemed to really work though. I think partially because it shows that I'm not uncomfortable with my sexuality, and it increased my SMV maybe? Anyway... Sorry you got felt up... I wonder how many guys just don't say no even though they want to...
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/22 10:08 PM
1

Ah, For sure then. Anyway I agree in theory with your goal of getting into core values quickly and I even generally agree with libertarian views. Yet I also think this is a rude question to ask on a first date and I have to assume you want more badly to get a reaction out of them than you actually want to have a discussion about prostitution. Furthermore it sounds like you have a hypothesis that men are oppressed and you want to prove it.

OK given that you want this question answered and it fits with your libertarian values, Why don't you ask before going on a first date? It sounds like you want to weed out people who have dissimilar views as you. Why not do it before all the effort of a date? I'm genuinely curious.

This is implied. lol No one should disagree with this so its a silly take. It is implied that rating people purely based on how "hot" they are is flawed - it's a horrible way to define overall attractiveness in a person. It is dehumanizing, and it doesn't take into account the other 10000 things that make up that person. Yet when people here say "rate so and so 1/10" they usually mean how hot they are. Especially if it's just a photo. Anyone could shout out "well what if they are a serial killer…

Uh I'll disagree I suppose. First off, I can only think of girls younger than 24 wearing super baggy clothes to hide their curves. I can't think of older women doing that. Although older women might downplay their body, the baggy clothing thing seems to be a high school to college age thing. Every girl I know that was like that turned out to be very boring once I built rapport and really get to know them. idk about changing your view but to me they definitely do not have the best personalities. …

Idk its not a hill I really care to die on. I just think that in response to the question "How much is attractiveness in your own hands and not genetic" Race is not something that can be changed and women have deep rooted racial bias in who they find attractive whether they admit it or not. Men can too but the stats show that the bias is stronger in women. Anyway..

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 07:42 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:45 PM

Wow I have seen you around but I had no idea about this situation with your daughter. Sounds like she dodged a bullet. Question, did you see signs of this stuff from him earlier? Demanding she be "submissive" all of a sudden is just wild to me.

B Not ideal but better than A.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:35 PM

It's so specific to each individual. For men race and height are such huge factors that the amount that is in "their own hands" can be pretty low. For a woman race and height are factors that enough men overlook that the amount that is "in their own hands" is much higher. A guy can be tall, white, and the amount in his own hands could range from being like a 4 to being a 9 imo. Regardless of all this, I think everyone should try to do as much as they can to increase attractiveness. For a time. T…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:29 PM

aha. That is good I suppose. Not to sound too rude but you sound pretty young and naïve. I can't say for certain that all this guy wants from you is sex. But that seems to be the only thing that was on his mind on your first date. This is why FDS has their whole point about waiting. Watch and see how a guy reacts when he has to wait to get sex. Anyway it's all too complicated to rely on advice from rando's online but that whole situation with that guy sounds to me to be... not ideal. Unless you …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:20 PM

The counter to that question that everyone seems to be eluding to is: Why would anyone blindly trust anyone? Are you saying that you trust random men? Why would you do that? Or even trusting random women. How often have you been burned by that? I have many, many friends and I trust each of them, individually, about as much as I ought to. I have close friends and they have done self serving things that hurt me. They are human. That's what humans do. I do it too. I "Trust" them to occasionally do …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:01 PM

Haha really sounds like a charming guy. Maybe if he only wants casual sex he is really setting himself up for that. He is making himself out to sound like someone who is not a candidate for a LTR but will be able to please you sexually? Maybe he is even doing this subconsciously? I would want to know if you and him have had sex. Because then if that was his goal I suppose he got what he wanted and telling you all that at least did not detract from the desired outcome.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 04:44 PM

I agree. As long as these hollywood actors are doing them to get into character it should be talked about and not hidden. It must be really fucking with a lot of guys to read about like, how hugh jackman just ate bananas or whatever the fuck to become wolverine. Nah he actually was on gear. Same with fucking every other actor. Oh Zack Efron has been training "really hard" with the Rock and definitely not on gear he's just really dedicated to eating oats. I am annoyed by it apparently.

Staying in shape is easy. Getting in shape is hard. Many people are unlucky and get out of shape early and it's a huge hill to climb to get back in shape. Then, for many, there is the social pressure from their peers and family to stay out of shape. Misery loves company or whatever. And then it's so hard to wait to see the progress. The progress takes weeks and months. The alternative of having a beer, getting a burger, and not working out is immediate. To fight that immediate joy for weeks and …

Yes I think he's right. I think the average woman wants to be seen publicly as blue pill. Women (more than men) want so, so badly to fit in to society and be agreeable. They consistently virtue signal that they are one way (in this case blue pill, but it is broader than that). Hence, their "words" are going to be blue pill again and again as we see here. But when it comes to their own personal goals and desires--and therefore their actions to attain those things--they appear red pill. Hence thei…

Yes. First off this isn't the space for men to get advice. I recommend finding those spaces though to any man who needs advice or needs other men to talk to. Second, though, yes. I'd say the world generally looks to straight men struggling to find love and says "Go away and stop complaining". Women do it but I think men do it to other men too. I believe I do it sometimes. for example IRL I try to help friends that struggle with dating but it doesn't take long for me to say "Look man you are goin…

Honestly that makes sense, and thank you for replying. I sort of agree with those stats (although I am not into guys) I have quite a few friends that are girls as well as guys. I get what you mean and I get that it's a quote so it's meant to be hyperbolic But I still think its a bad concept: ALL women are great and ALL men are bad except the ONE I fell in love with... Seems to be a dangerous mindset. It excuses so much terrible behavior from women and diminishes so much good behavior from guys, perpetuating the WHOLE problem. ehh I get it though and it's a cute quote I'll reference it at some point

Most women will readily to mental gymnastics to justify that their emotional response to something is more valid than objective reality. It is common enough that it is just baked into our society and no one is surprised by it. Counter to that, though, many (most?) men claim to be logical but they just aren't smart so their opinions are based off some pretty fucking stupid "logic"

We all saw it and my other friend said he heard her telling her friend she was gonna do it because she wanted him to be more horny, idk.

I read recently that one thing you can do is pay for premium and swipe on every single girl in your area in a month. Then stop paying for premium. As long as you dont live in a major city you will now only see girls that have just recently joined. Those girls are way less jaded and easier to meet for dates. I havent tried this, though, I have a girlfriend. It just sounds like a good idea

Well not really they are just funky hippy girls that have fun calling themselves witches. It was a disco party. Their house is so clean and nice. I did 2 songs on karaoke (even though they aren't disco idgaf): 1) Frankie Vallie - December 1963 2) Grease - You're the one that I want (with my gf) Witches be crazy

Yeah, that's pretty interesting too. I think the types of guys that are able to have many sexual partners do not want to give that up or settle down until they are no longer able to. They will try to keep trying to have low commitment sex with as many girls for as long as they can. I thought about this and wrote a whole thing but here I am rewriting my stance. I disagree with you and I actually think this is a big topic that could require a long discussion. The main difference is: A statistical majority of "normal" girls will be attracted to Dark Triad guys and find "normal" guys boring. They will dismiss normal guys and say "He just doesn't excite me like that guy does (Dark Triad kinda guy). This doesn't really happen the same way if the sexes are flipped. Normal men don…

Based off of PPD there seems to be a pretty noticeable split in the men and their preferences regarding N count. I have always preferred to date High N count women. I prefer a partner who is adventurous and open minded in all facets of life. Not excluding sexuality. IRL at least it seems easy to tell when someone is lying about something as complicated as having a relationship. The main thing I've noticed is they feel the need to add details that only someone who wanted you to believe they are telling a truth would. People who are telling the truth to not care if you believe them and it is a noticeable difference. Specifically on PPD I do not think the women are LARPing about having partners. I love going to the bar and just sitting at the bar and talking to whoever is around me. I am a guy, and 90% of the time its just another guy who wants to spend 5x for drinks just to be in public. I've heard people say stuff like "just go to a bar/coffee shop/park and someone will approach you!" In this day and age that is just baaad advice for girls IMO. Just meet dudes through your friend groups or possibly dating apps. The chance that the rando at the bar is the love of your life has to be lo…

Could be worth it. If you are trying to look as good as possible to increase your chances with women, it will definitely increase your chances IMO. Just remember not to over-do it if your goal is to attract women. It seems women want very fit looking guys but not beefcakes. It seems only beefcakes want other beefcakes mmm beefcakes

Well if God exists then I am wayyy more down to be a martyr for anything. It would seem my chances of an afterlife go way up once it is revealed to me that God exists. This questions is only an easy yes because of the exciting revealing of this God guy

Yeah totally. I mean in the way you asked, then yes for a lot of guys. Heck I would even go as far as to say that our capitalistic society has effectively "commodified" sex for men to make it just out of reach enough for many men so that they have to work forever to strive to get it. Shoot, there are a lot of conversations that could build around that concept. But that just bring us back to the concept of scarcity. Most men want sex so badly because it is one of the most scarce resources for the…

I can confirm for me a guy If I was working hard to be famous it would be about 60% so I can fuck a lot of hot girls, like 20% for the money and like 20% for the recognition of my talent. Anyway I clearly aint gonna be famous in this lifetime. But yes for me that would be why.

I'm down. I've talked to some girl friends about this. I probably would want to evenly split how much either of us works to bring home money vs takes care of house and kids. I'd at least want to have a conversations about it. Since Beta Bux implies that I provide for her entirely I might not be down. At that rate I'd just raise a kid on my own without the mother.

For sure, thank you. I’m not really trying to go below 185. I have pretty much fluctuated between 185 and 205 for the last 4 years. I usually go up in the winter and down in the summer. Maybe I did do it a little too quickly this year, idk.

I took a break from drinking for almost a month I’ve been slowly losing weight since the new year (205-190) I got a haircut. I got a friend to shape my beard cuz I suck at it. I went with my gf to get my brow waxed. It started as a joke but I’m glad I did it. Lol anyway it was mostly just to see if I was capable of a “glow up”. It was fun I’ll do it again I’m sure

I think this always comes back to this one thing that gets brought up a lot. Women want to believe that it all comes naturally for a guy. That he just "gets it" For whatever reason many girls poo poo on the idea that men should improve themselves to be more desirable. Which is silly because they put so much effort into it themselves. My takeaway is to keep improving because that's literally the point of life. And dont broadcast to girls that you are improving because apparently that's bad.

Yup, you're right and its fucking stupid. Plenty of men see no reason to voluntarily interact with a woman not genetically related to them unless sex is an option An alarming percentage of men really do think this and it is wild. I'm kinda with decoy on this. First off, I'm sure you can tell, Melodious, and thank god for that (for you). However, I don't think the statistical majority of straight women can tell when a man just wants sex (or perhaps they want to lie to themselves and pretend he wants more, but that's a different conversation). If they could tell when a man just wants sex, they could shoot him down and focus on legitimate suitors, then we would solve sooo many problems addressed on this sub I think. Decepti…

I am on my 5th day of not drinking. I am trying to go 16 more days until I go to a wedding. I'll for sure drink at the wedding. Sounds silly but it's hard for me, I have drank alcohol pretty much every day for the last 10 years and my body has accepted this. Also just so you know, when I peed yesterday it smelled horrible. I think your HR analogy is fitting and will need to be used again in the future on this sub. It would be crazy to not have a backup plan for your job. I suppose the difference is if you have a backup plan for a partner it is "shitty" to them when it isn't so "shitty" to treat your current employer that way. But regardless of how "rude" it seems I agree with the point being made by you and OP
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/22 08:05 PM

I agree but you linked wayyyy too hot of a "less attractive" girl and it sort of defeats your point. It goes back to what a lot of people keep saying here (for both sexes IMO) This: Once someone crosses your threshold of "attractive enough" personality becomes more important. The second girl looks so damn boring it hurts my soul and the first girl looks like just an awesome creative person. All that being said I agree with the point you are making

idk the argument "everyone is fat and that's the problem with dating" is a cop out to me. There are plenty of girls and guys that aren't fat and they meet each other all the time. Most of what I am talking about on PPD does not factor in how overweight someone is and it does not need to for the greater discussion being held. I personally feel that too many people are overweight and that's unfortunate, but that doesn't seem to me to be the main factor in the "economics" of dating. Especially if e…

I agree. I think I've been agreeing with a lot you say, unless its a different throwaway. Even when I was in high school I couldnt understand the senior guys that would date freshmen girls. Not understanding teasing and flirting is like... The least fun thing as a guy trying to attract girls. I'm good at flirting in general but teasing? I feel autistic with my inability to tease and that ain't good for dating. Girls love to be teased sooooo much. And yet I find it boring. Anyway, its all good I'm old now and it doesn't matter anymore, but I was so upset growing up and being like "damn I really have no idea how to do that, this sucks"

Yeah I agree. I think there are just tons of guys that struggle with this anyway because of just general lack of social awareness. and its too bad. I imagine for some guys the whole thing sounds impossible. Especially for autistic guys. "OK so what you're saying is I need to shoot my shot, but be respectful, but be confident. What was that thing you said about eye contact and smiling?" Still gotta shoot our shot. But ultimately most guys are clueless because they just lack dynamic social acumen.

Yeh... dang thats young.... take everything said here with a grain of salt. Like, I think the average ( "mode" as opposed to "median" average) person here is around 28-35. And a 28 year old has a lot more "experience". And we all can't help but say things based on our own anecdotal experiences. I literally have no idea what life is like for a 20 year old right now (especially a girl?). I think 90% of the people here dont have any idea what it's like now vs when they were 20.

I think getting it wrong and getting ridiculed is a real fear. Especially for young guys as they are trying to figure this whole "attraction" and "shooting your shot" thing out. I have had more girls in my life say "how could you not know I was attracted to you?" than have said "OMG get away from me youre gross" (or something like that) But the fact that both happen and as she said above: it's hard to tell one sign from another, it makes it difficult for guys. I mean... If we have learned anythi…

damn yeah. I mean think about how much harder that is than say, if it was the opposite numbers (65 70% women). I think OP would be wise to find places where the statistics are in their favor, and just accept that tabletop gaming, though fun as shit, is not the best place to meet women.

well first I am not sure if there will be any girls there at all. I love tabletop games but don't always see girls at things like that. The girls who do show up though are usually cool as fuck. So if a girl is there... Then you would have to find a girl you actually want to talk to (which it's okay if you see a girl and maybe aren't attracted to her?). Then you would need to talk to them. I’m sorry I sounded too harsh. But I think the answers here’s prove a point. The obsession for women to groom themselves is not directly from their male SO’s There is always a chance that men are being dishonest here. I straight up agree. Most success I've ever had with women is when they believed or perceived that I was high status. Not to say I was or wasn't but if you can come across as high status then the world is your oyster. Because women will want to be with you and therefore men will want to be around you (for teh women) and life becomes easy mode. Its been a looooong time since anyone thought I was high status :(

I've been thinking this for a while now from reading this subreddit. I feel like we should have flares that show if we care about high N count women or not. It seems that men on here are in one of the 2 camps, and this is a huge part of their overall opinions expressed on this sub. I prefer high N count women and do not want to be grouped with the guys that are obsessed with it and think its terrible.

This is not my experience at all. I have friends that are girls and they are great. Nothing extra exploitive about it. No temper tantrums either. Most I'll say is I think sometimes they forget that I'm their friend and not just a random guy to exploit. It is odd when occasionally they forget that I'm not going to just front the bill for something because they are used to that from other guys. But that happens very rarely and often early in a friendship (like they are testing what they can get aw…

Male. First off: I would probably avoid this topic for as long as I can. I would try to be perceptive of my kids and see when they start to take interest in the opposite sex. Libs are the worst. The democratic party is run by neolibs and they I think conservatives would benefit from realizing there are young people on the left that detest "liberals" (and their identity politics) as much as they do. I hope someday soon the conservatives and the "non lib leftists" will figure out that the current neolib politicians are actually their common enemy. That's all just my opinion being vomited out though, so if anyone disagrees I'd actually be stoked to hear it.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/22 08:55 PM

Lol I consider myself sufficiently red pilled and fairly libleft. Do you really think that someone can't be libleft and also understand the primary tenets of redpill? It sounds a little like you're saying "well Im not a feminist and I am not 'liberal' therefore all libs are feminists." also not to confuse things more, but I would not ever call myself a "liberal" that has sufficiently been taken over by neolibs and left leaning people are getting grouped in with those idiots.

I don’t disagree with you as I’ve seen exactly that happen. Not all the women in my friend groups have done that but a majority have a few times. Like I’ve witnessed 60% of those girls choose to get “pumped and dumped” once or twice. I’d say the other 40% avoid that type of thing entirely.

This makes a lot of sense to me (A GUY). It sucks for girls because for the most part "Not all men want a relationship, but all men want to fuck." On the surface it's nearly impossible to tell which is which. And even in my own anecdotal view, the men who just want to use someone as a "human jerk sock" are very, very good at hiding it. In fact they are probably better at saying all the right things to imply a relationship is building than those who are actually looking for more. On the other han…

I support your opinion. I have enough empirical proof to say this works for me. Then again I don't maintain a ton of FWB relationships. I call them off after a bit, they only last so long before someone gets attached (not me). Also, I disagree. It's fine to choose not to discuss that shit, but nothing devalues her other relationships like being able to talk about them and be completely unmoved. Your way is easier I'm just saying it works. I'm just saying I do this, and I don't lose value.

Choose one, tease her if you can, give the impression that you are interested in one and if possible get the other girls to tease her as well. I would just go for the person that seems the warmest to you. You almost always need approval from a girls friends, and you want to interact with all of them of course. But it can be confusing to them if you take turns hitting on one and then the next and then the next. That's not to say you cannot switch focus after a while if you are truly interested in…

"If you are in a bad situation, laugh about the situation itself." I like that a lot. I learned long ago to think of my life as more of a comedy than a tragedy. That the occasional pains and occasional awkward times we go through are short term and a part of a long life. It's easy to get caught up and discouraged when you are in the moment. But most successful people are able to laugh at their failures. It's one of the biggest differences between those who are successful and those who aren't. In…

Exactly, he said it better than I could. Look I love talking about big shit like personal goals and values and aspirations. But I like to balance that with absurd/goofy and just enjoy pointing out stuff that happens around. You also don't need to talk all the time. Silence implies comfort with someone, like you would be relatively silent with a girl you have been seeing for a while. Definitely would t force conversation

I have always been a goofy guy too... But I haven't always been able to attract girls. Girls love goofy guys, and I'm sure they even are interested in you in some less concrete way. It's important, as a goofy guy to be able to be serious at times, or show girls that you are capable of being serious/thoughtful/even just be quiet at times. It's interesting, because being goofy or funny is unattractive at times, because it is traditionally linked to being awkward/nervous/ uncomfortable in your own …

I like what your saying. I felt similarly with tango lessons. Tango lessons were doubly great because I got to meet girls that were good at dancing. It was terrifying. Tango is a great release and pretty damn complicated. I should try Muay Thai

I like to make statements, especially obviously mundane ones. "You know wagon wheel is the most underrated of all noodle shapes" "I would rather be a turtle than a bat, but only after watching finding nemo" If a girl doesn't want to jump in and talk about stuff like that, I don't see the relationship going past a few nights.

So based off of a lot of reading I have my own diet that I love, it works great for so many things. Not excluding raising testosterone and male hormones and pheromones. Mostly I do it because its enjoyable and good for my body and brain. Im always ready for criticism, especially non-constructive criticism. I wake up at 7 and drink coffee, sometimes I add coconut oil sometimes I just eat butter and salt. Whatever it works for me and its based off bulletproof diet to stay in ketosis. Also It keeps…

Where are all your friends? Are your friends dating? Do they have boyfriends? Do you have friends that are guys? Why not start there? Are these guys that are afraid of you guys you meet at bars, or at classes, or at work, or at idunno yoga, dance lessons, cooking classes. There are soo so many guys out there that I think you are not even including in this frustration. "i don't identify as straight" You are in Portland... its okay to say no. People love hearing the word no. No I'm doing this instead of that. "No i dont want to eat there, Im going to eat here, and if you want to come along I hope you do." No I dont like it when you do that. Do it this way, not that way. I dont think there is anything wrong with acquiescing. But it is important to understand that standing for what you want, or what you believe in is attractive. Look case in point; girls love stubborn guys, even if the guy is wrong or offbase. Its h…

Disagree. Go out wearing a big ridiculous red shirt, see what happens. It works, and its scary how effective it is. What I like to wear is a cottony red V-neck. Its not too abrasive but is still the color of 1)Blood 2)Passion 3)Good Health Its pretty well known amongst evolutionary psychologists that wearing red simulates the imagery of stimulation, and stimulation is sexy. If you look aroused, you somehow encourage arousal in others. I can source check if I have to, please dont make me

Again its in the posture and body language. Simple pickup guys look like they dont give a shit whether the girls like them or not, which helps encourage girls to like them more, and even at times feel the need to seek out the SP guys' approval of them.

its all about how they are standing. good posture: shoulders back, head up, hands to your side, the guy in the second picture is definitely more attractive, but so much of that is his posture. In addition to looking confident, and relaxed, he looks approachable. He also looks edgy, and challenging. Not many girls would be opposed to him walking over and talking to them, or even walking over and saying nothing at all. Dressing well helps encourage better self image and ultimately better posture

Haha nice! When I'm legitimately nervous I talk to everyone around her. Its so whimpy but by being loud and the center of conversation you are at least noticeable. If she ever lifts her head to look directly at you, you can stop and introduce yourself. You better sack up and talk to her eventually though. And make good eye contact! GL

I totally agree that negativity is a terrible way to start an interaction or to live your life at all. This is intended to said aloud as a complete joke. Instead you could say "Its waayy too early to be learning about quantum physics". The intent is to be lighthearted and silly and not to be serious. I think you are right that it would actually work better if you follow up by pointing out you are interested in the subject and you ultimately are there to learn. Any joke works, mine was just disgu…

Nice! I'm glad someone agrees. I was worried people would just say "NOOOO you are relying way too much on social proof." But I'm not really. I am, like you, incredibly fun and outgoing although im not particularly attractive. It's just a huuuge uphill battle without social proof.
/r/seduction11/09/13 12:13 AM

Yes! you are right I guess to be completely honest I would put social proof on average as a 40-50% with a wide deviation. So I think its realistic to expect above 50% for a lot of girls as they desperately seek validation from friends peers and even total strangers and will frequently shut you out or at least shit test you way more if you seem random or unknown. They will want to convince themselves that you are a creep. Even still, I think we can all agree that its very possible to attract some…

Yes you definitely ought to ask what her major eventually. I would start less serious and try to get her to ask you what your major instead. Or like, say "This is the classroom for intro to Fight Club right?". and then when she looks confused as she invariably will say "o right rule #1 is don't talk about introduction to fight club". Then she will say "what is fight club?" and you will learn that she is not very interesting. But the girl behind you will say something about it and then you will f…

"GAHHH not this class again!" Its stupid but its going to get a response. Then you can respond to just about anything she says with something like "Teacher is boring, I think I would learn more if I just packed up and went on an adventure!" and then you can talk about possible adventures and then you can eventually invite her on one. I personally would tell her to take notes so she can teach you the lecture over coffee, and then promptly get up and leave. But that might affect your grades i gues…

Duuude. if you posted this straight to seddit and not as a comment, a massive discussion around your breakdown would probably ensue. Many things could be said about this (most of which I really really dont want to get in to...) Instead the only comment I want to make is that more and more in my experiences, your "immediate surrounding social position" (aka social proof) has the capability of producing way more attractiveness than the other components of your breakdown (I'm open to disagreement).…

Exercise! (might want to try meditation first). Exercise before you go out. Specifically cardio anarobic exercise in my opinion. Play pickup soccer, basketball, swim, whatever you enjoy the most. It works wonders for me with clearing my mind and getting me out of that "funk" which happens so often. I think this advice goes after "practice being sober" which is essential.

SLPT: call her drunk in a week and say "I think I'm gay". Then call her again and say "I've been feeling really catty lately. There is a good chance I'm becoming a cat!" You can do this once each week and just keep making it more ridiculous! She won't remember that you love her!

As a bisexual, is it difficult for you to discern between a man who is interested in you sexually or just interested in talking to you in a nonsexual intellectual way? I have issues with maintaining a sexual frame when talking to girls I am attracted to. I think because I keep steering conversations towards goofy + intellectual which disqualifies me as a legitimate suitor. Thanks! I'll try goin to a gay club now it sounds fun.

Thanks! Actually We've been "winging" in business settings lately as well. Like if I happened to have met someone who is interesting and successful, I will insist that they must meet my buddy because he is fucking awesome. Not gonna lie I do it to DHV myself also.
