I will NEVER understand the degree to which women hurt and sabotage and betray other women. This is a truly awful example.

Hmmm, the concept of LV women. I really wonder if there are any.. maybe among the super-rich who can hire out for every single service and no longer do anything for themselves.

FOR SURE our entire western culture loves men unconditionally. They can commit crimes, even atrocities, and be forgiven by almost everyone and LOVED by millions. They fail upward all the time. Males are given 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and however many chances. This is going on at my workplace right now with a newly hired male leader. He clearly cannot do the job, so he is being propped up by capable women because "we don't want anyone to fail". On the other hand, our culture definitely hates women.

This is TOTALLY true and a universal law of male behavior.

easy.... 1) marrying provides them safety and security. 2) most of them are stupid and just mimic what other males do without thinking. Have you ever noticed how much males mimic each other's behavior and words. I have seen it at work so many times, and in my personal life.

This is exactly what happened to me. I am very well educated (Master's degree) at top schools, earn a lot, and never participated in hookup culture. I waited to get married until my mid 30s. I met a guy, same age, who pursued me and wanted to settle. We married, bought a house and had a child. But the signs were there on the honeymoon. Not only did he not love me, he didn't even like me, and I was of less value than the furniture. But he got a beautiful home, life, money, and a gorgeous child (w…

After I left my NVX, my mother had lovely friendly convos with him. Totally sick to be betrayed by your own mother. She also made me feel like shit every day of my young life eventhough I was a high performer and went to an Ivy League school.

I ruined my awesome single life when I married an eastern European immigrant whom I was stupid enough to believe had adopted and shared my Western values. He used me for money. His family was positively medieval in their views. Glad I got rid of him but it took so much out of me and still does as we have a child. I really hope he dies soon.

Wish I had come here 15 years ago. I lifted my NV ex from poverty to wealth. My income qualified us for a house. My furniture furnished the house. (He brought one desk.. and it was ugly). My income bought additional furniture and top-of-the line appliances. I introduced him to my financial advisor who has since built his wealth more than mine. I also made my LV ex boyfriend more wealthy inadvertently by sharing investment info with him. Geez, I should go on OLD with the headline "Date me and get…

This is true. I can testify. My NVX took my money, my house, and claimed that I abused him. He is 6'6" and 220 pounds. I was 5'5" and 120 lbs. He leeched off of me for years as I earned up to 4x what he did.

Life is over at 25 - WTF???!!! In the modern world, that is patently false. Life and real adult fun (eg. travel, sports, theatre, art, dining, etc.) require money, time, knowledge, and a certain degree of choice/freedom which is JUST STARTING at 25 for most people. Teen years are for LEARNING.

it's not the clothing that motivated or spurs rapists to act. Rapists will rape anybody but choose their victims based on ease of access and likelihood of not getting caught, reported, or prosecuted; eg. children, women alone or in a remote area, and those who dress provocatively.

That is outright abuse... and illegal to give anyone a procedure they have not consented to. if that is happening anywhere in North America, it is a crime.

Women can only enjoy "the joys of motherhood" with a very strong support system; e.g. a supportive spouse/partner, maternity leave, extended family or hired help, etc. When I was pumping in the ladies room at work, I was for sure not feeling the "joys of motherhood". But I was lucky to have 5 months with my son before returning to work full-time. Those days were magic.

Great post. This should be studied/researched and I am going to read the study someone posted in response. Also, I'm 50. I recently dated a guy who was 60... until he told me the story of seeing his son's girlfriend in a bar (at the same time as his son saw her) and thinking of making a play for her. She was 28 at the time. BARF

There's a reason many fathers and brothers are abusers themselves.... they're male. Many other fathers and brothers have likely felt the urge to abuse but have not acted on it.

Last year I called an ambulance for myself because for 5 hours I had a racing heart , chest pain and shortness of breath. And I could not drive myself to the ER. When we got there, the paramedic recommended anxiety pills. Gee, do you think he was a white male?

They got in easily because white men own the Capitol and the country, can do anything they want, and are rarely stopped. Had this crowd been mostly non-whites, it would have been a blood bath outside the building.

My last BF had 3 grown sons and all were dating super thin, tall women. I'm 5'6" and they towered over me. I once asked my BF why and he said they believed that "thin women are tighter". I'm not an anatomy expert but I believe only babies stretch a woman.

My ex-BF has 2 grown sons (25 and 23) and a highschooler all who still live with him full-time, and he has NEVER encouraged or enabled their independence. I was out of the house a few months after graduating from college. For Xmas, he still buys them tons of video games and other gadgets. They will never leave and never make it on their own. Also, neither of the grown sons has gone to university.

20 years ago, I went "disco bowling" with some friends. we were all adults. When we walked in the were 3 little girls, like 5yo, all doing a very sexy dance in a spotlight in the middle of the floor. All the adults made a wide circle around them and were watching. My jaw hit the ground. Who in their right mind would let their daughters do that, and even encourage it? The sickness of sexualizing practically infant girls has been around a long time.

Agreed. here is JUST ONE story of a supposed HVM. A few years ago, my then HVM's neighbour invited us for a BBQ. During said BBQ in their backyard, the host made a joke about the rape of a 5-yr-old girl. I called him out in front of everyone, and I'm sure you can all guess his response - he doubled down. We left but my "HVM" never said anything and continued to befriend the neighbour, so I ended that relationship. There are NO HVMs. My only hope and prayer is that I can raise my son to be an HVM…

I think the entertainment industry likes and promotes women comics who adopt typical male comic humour; i.e. cursing, vulgarity, bodily functions, ethnic put-downs, etc. instead of women comics with a more sophisticated sense of humour. I tried to watch Amy Schumer do standup one time, and could only take 5 minutes. It was all about her privates and not funny at all.

I had a miscarriage and the hospital gave me same pill. That misoprostol is hell. My ex-husband didn't tell me to shut up, but he did go to bed without even a kind word, and left me writhing on the floor. Just one reason why he is my ex.

BTW, this belittling-in-front-of-friends behavior doesn't go away. My last BF was 60 when he called me names in front of his 26-yr-old son. I dumped him right there in the car when he said it... in front of his son.

Perfect response. I had girlfriends like this in my 30s. They would come to my house and make me toast when I had pneumonia and couldn't move. Now, I feel like my female friends just use me as entertainment, and female co-workers are trying to sabotage me. if you have a supportive, trusting relationship with a loyal girlfriend, don't let it go. It's worth more than gold.

I often tell strangers not to refer to me as a girl. I'm 50, have a masters degree, have bought and sold real estate and livestock, and written a book. F**ker, don't dare call me "girl". I've started a movement to eradicate widespread usage of the term for grown women.

My mother was a classic codependent with my alcoholic father. Even at his memorial service she was still deep in denial about all the horrible things he did to her and others. (serious crimes including pedophilia). It was sickening how everyone lauded and loved him at the memorial service.

Truths: Men don't like women, don't want to spend time with them, talk with them, work with them, etc. Have you ever just sat and observed at your workplace or a party, group dinner, or other event? Men are drawn to each other, only want talk to each other and win each other's approval through ribbing and one-upping. At work they protect and promote each other endlessly no matter what poor performance or heinous behavior has been committed. I've seen guys follow other guys around at work like pu…
