Not bin in the same situation, but I did recently been broken open with. Although she’d hurt me like hell, I still cared for her. Over time that feeling became less and less strong. Now there is still some feeling of care for her, but I think that’s the memories of the good times we had. What I’m trying to say, maybe it’s the grieving process he needs to get through and still need to get accept the situation. The wound is still fresh.

That’s a good point. Something tells me that if a guy wants to press charges, they would downplay it.

Haha not sure about that. From what I can gather from a quick google search is that it is not illegal to post someone’s address without them knowing. This because an address is considered public information. But when someone calls for harm in any way or use it to stalk or ruin someone, you could get charged if someone went to the police and file a report. Of course it will depend on country and maybe even local law if and how it will be handled.

There actually is a ruling. Both got 1 day prison time and community service. The first got 60 hours and the second 120 hours. https://uitspraken.rechtspraak.nl/inziendocument?id=ECLI:NL:RBNHO:2021:9618 And https://uitspraken.rechtspraak.nl/inziendocument?id=ECLI:NL:RBNHO:2021:9625 Both sources are written in Dutch.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
