He has proven himself a little...I just need to wait it out for a few weeks until he comes back to my city...

Yeah I’m getting so many mixed signals from my guy but I have a set time of when I’ll know if he’s legit or not, and it’ll be a good time to break it off.

Yes absolutely. If there's any hope though, all the men that have hit on me definitely have some form of social or behavioral issue, based on their online activity. I don't know if everyone can say that though.

Lol this is exactly what I'm fearing in this guy I met off of Hinge. Was shocked at how many attractive and successful guys I matched with that were supposedly looking for a relationship.

Depends on how you met him and whether or not you can verify if he's telling the truth about the things he tells you. Either he's low-key, level headed and focused on real life, or he's a psycho. I think a lot of guys like that in the second category may tend to have anonymous Reddit, Twitter, and Youtube accounts that they aren't telling you about.

Manosphere: “No you’ve got it wrong! That’s stupid simp behavior!” Also Manosphere: “99% of men are simps.”

Yep! I’ve heard plenty of stories of women having to delete their Facebook because some guy creeped all over it, and so so much worse. Thankfully the guy I made this post about is just socially awkward/tone deaf and was respectful once I spelled it out for him.

I’ve noticed that many of the non well adjusted amongst them tend to believe anger is not an emotion.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt since he was so excited about it the night before. But it all lines up too conveniently. I can’t risk falling for manipulation.

Hehe that’s what my mom said about asking if he needs space. She encouraged me to be harsh with him about why he flaked and what went wrong.

It is my fear that he did commit a crime and get arrested, I have searched crimewatch registries for him to no avail so far.

Yup! I was surprised to see he was even looking when law school is so rigorous, especially the one he’s at. But I don’t think he’s realized this yet.

I think blocking him sounds a bit harsh at this point but I’m open to it. I’d rather tell him exactly why I will not communicate with him anymore. I guess it’ll be determined whether he was faking his crisis or not in whether or not he goes back to school. Either way I think I’d have to cut communication. If he goes back to school, then he was most likely making up the crisis or panicked about meeting and will continue to make up excuses to not meet. If he doesn’t go back to school, well then I …

I think I will be frank with him that I want a boyfriend and would prefer him to be in my general area if and when he confirms he’s not coming back to school. But he did delete his Hinge the day before our date (I saved a link to it and it was gone, not unmatched) and I’m the only non law school female friend from my city on his Facebook and IG so I’m lead to believe he isn’t talking to other girls, but I can’t know for sure.

Oh honey, no. I’m surprised that a random message on Facebook wasn’t enough to indicate to you that this guy is a creep. You know he’s done the same to other young girls on FB and you aren’t special to him.

Pictures with girls that clearly aren’t family drives me up a wall. It’s not the idea of the guy having female friends that’s an issue per say, but they always have 2+ girls and this smug look like “Look how much I can pull.” Dirty mirror selfies too, gross.

You’re so right. I’m so glad I had the experience of it ending with mutual respect from circumstances out of our control instead of with abuse, lies, or cheating.

We did discuss it many times, unfortunately he was just as in the dark about his longterm plans as I was, and had no clue where he would get a job, when he would or even if he would and didn’t want to throw our relationship away prematurely. I wanted to transfer to a school in City B he’ll most likely be moving to in 2020, but he said he didn’t even know if and when he’d be moving there and might have to stay in City A where he is now if the second job offer didn’t pan out. It’s a messy situatio…

Calling me ridiculous sounds good to me! I’m accepting that it was out of my control - I didn’t cheat, dump him and date up or anything like that and it’s safe to move on. Personally I’ve put September of next year (one year since the breakup) as my time when I’m going to allow myself to be open to a serious relationship again, and it’ll conveniently align with being around lots of new guys in my new school.

Yep, that's going to be my plan, hopefully embracing the feminine and extending my group of friends in college and meeting their boyfriend's friends.

I agree, I work in a customer service position and that actually helps quite a bit, its much better than it was when I was in HS and I'm working on it every day.

I never said I didn't think I'd meet any good partners, but it might be more difficult to do so after college since I refuse to use apps and deal with social anxiety, and I am afraid my standards are now too high (alpha widowed?) and I would fall into comparing new guy to him. But good point, I am doing my best to do so and I hope he is too.

So true! A lot of guys seem to think women now are drunken slags treating our bodies and skin like trash everyday, but which gender is the mass majority of skincareaddiction, and which gender is guilty of occasionally washing their face with Bath and Body Works holiday hand soap?

There definitely is real dismal content on that sub, but I'd imagine a large chunk of it is fake fetish content like all of Reddit.

It's a catch-22. Red pillers can't marry self sufficient women who make their own money and won't qualify for alimony, because they'll be "worse" wives - worse meaning probably older, established and not able to provide as many children and not a full time homemaker, but they can't marry wannabe stay at home moms and homemakers because they'll be financially dependent and able to qualify for lots of money in a divorce.

Because, every single time, men in the comments section of articles reporting on these crimes say things like “damn lucky guy!” “where were the hot teachers like that when I was in school?”

The fact that he is 38 and you’re 18 is all I needed to know. He is an adult and you are a child, no doubt he just sees you as a housekeeping tool and will leave once another one comes along. Run back to your parents house and don’t look back, get a job and/or enroll in community college working towards a certificate or a degree in something useful like accounting or nursing. You’re so young you wouldn’t even be behind your peers with classes at this point. There is so much opportunity for you t…

Holy shit, no wonder you aren’t happy. No offense. An 18 year old and 38 year old are in radically different stages of life. He was your age before you were even a fetus ffs. You’re still a child, I would know. I’m 19 and elementary school seems like just the other day for me. It seems like you’re just a housekeeping tool for him. Leave, move back in with your parents, and start community college working towards a useful field, you won’t even be behind at all. This guy is a deadend for you and i…
