Men should buy women things, do their chores, and give them compliments daily. We should never concern ourselves with sex. It's best to sublimate out manly nature and serve women, because they deserve it!

Both ethics and abundance would suggest that you next her if she is caused significant pain by her plate status and will not be promoted. You will be fine, and she will likewise meet a man who wants to commit. It's your personal decision, but if you are only going to hurt her, I would call NEXT.

Dad of 2 here... Can confirm op's quote with personal experience. I have never felt any ambition like when I first realized that I was responsible for a newborn. My wife now stays at home since we have 2 kids, and I work an extremely demanding job to provide for us all. She's definitely not oppressed by patriarchy or something... She's loving the arrangement, and I work my ass off. Every family/couple might be different, but there's definitely a lot of truth to that quote. No sexism or oppressio…
