I think both. Men need to bond. We are programmed in our DNA to be that way. Hundreds of thousands of years of men bonding over hunts, war, etc. The best time of my life was when I was cold, wet, bloody, and miserable in the Military with the best friends I'll ever have. I'd give anything to go back and relive it.

One word...pussy. I have a former friend who did this. Dated total lazy fat slob trash with kids and no daddies in the picture. You'd always know when he got himself a new girlfriend because he'd go from cool as hell, always down to hang out and do fun stuff, and always had money to....nah I can't I'm broke. Always dated the same type and always ended up as an ATM and babysitter. But he did it because he got laid.

Agreed. In all fairness she does and always has worked. But her annoying bitch for a mother drilled it into her head that the man takes care of the family, bills, etc. and that I need to work now no matter what. She wasn’t willing to wait around while I figured out what I wanted to do and found myself. I literally lost my identity when I left my old career. Between the military straight out of HS graduation to the point I left my career. It was my whole life.

Yeah I just cannot forgive forcing me to take whatever job came along after giving up my life and what defined me for her. She wasn’t about to wait around for me to go back to school and purse something that I wanted to do and would better me.
