| 4 | Need advice please help as I'm at difficult crossroadsWow! As I read through your post, I felt incredible compassion towards you. I have recently finalized my divorce and it was just a terrible process. I was a primary bread winner, but she always worked. We don't have kids or a house together and even I'm paying a few grand a month just because a disparity income. I'm not sure if I have much advice for you, all I can say is keep moving and keep pressing on. It's terrible what this world and Justice system will allow for a hard working man. | 2 | I'm Slowing Boiling in This Custody BattleI feel for you brother. It really is terrible what can happen to a man, when you're going through the divorce process. My divorce finalized this year and fortunately I didn't have any kids, I did have a great disparity in pay, and I feel like I'm paying a couple grand a month for child support....but it's spousal support. I felt like life was getting away from me, and I was suffocating. Im 40... and my worst fear is waking up one day when I'm closer to the end of life, regretting that I stayed in such a bad relationship. It's going to be tough financially, especially if your the primary bread winner like me. I am certainly in the worst financial position I've ever been in, … | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/12/19 11:34 PM |
| 1 | Hey everyone. I am currently trying to find out how one could make the lives of middle-aged men a lot easier ;) Which is why I have two very simple questions:Being that my divorce recently finalized, recovering financially, and realigning myself with my goals are my two challenges/ focuses. In terms of relationships, peace goes a long way. A peaceful relationship with someone that is goal oriented would be nice. If you live in California, and you're the primary bread winner... you're screwed. It'll take me the next 3-5 years to recover. It's a shame what the legal system allows. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/12/19 06:04 PM |
