The problem is when they assume and hurt their allies by turning them into enamies.

Oh I see.... At least its there for the record though. If I were in his shoes, I'd still want the highest possible punitive charge.

It's not really a news story though. She sent a selfy and he was like What? That's basically the extent of it.

For sure, but there are certainly darker shades of black.

It would be interesting to compare the numbers to the ratio of male and female teachers.

I disagree, forced rape and "consensual" statutory rape are two completely different things...

I agree with your viewpoint.

Sorry I don't follow... Are you saying that the media doesn't make much out of male teachers raping kids?

I'm seeing a lot of female teachers raping their students, but I don't hear much about male teachers. I know this isn't probably the right place to ask, but is it as bad of a problem with male teachers?

I think she's also implying that all men are rapists.

That's not at all what I was saying.
/r/MensRights15/06/21 10:41 PM

It's not. Encouragement is to in a way insist others to do something, an attempt of persuasion, while support and solidarity is to allow others to do what they want, by standing unified with them.

So what you're saying is we night to pick battle with boys wearing skirts to fix mens rights? What about the man's right to choose what they wear?
/r/MensRights15/06/21 03:06 AM
1

That's not what I'm saying. Women should be able to wear pants and men should be able to wear skirts. As long as it's not obscene, then there shouldn't be any issue. The teachers were standing up for a students right to feel comfortable.
/r/MensRights15/06/21 03:01 AM

So it sounds like you're okay with discriminating against men if they aren't wearing what's "traditionally masculine?" Sounds like to me that you're not for men's rights.

Expect the boyfriend tried to kill the teenager too. I don't think that would be looked kindly upon if the roles were reversed. "Jealous wife tries to kill teenage girl with a meat clever after beating her husband to death."

No, you misunderstand. I just want there to be peace and understanding. Mens rights are a piece of the puzzle of society. If we have so much tunnel vision that we can't see the bigger picture how everything fits together, then there will be clashing and the individual goals of mens rights will also be compromised. I'm for everyone coming together for peace and a better world.

Fair enough, I guess then I'd be for focusing on men's issues within men's circles but also establishing a precedent to not disparaging the injustices that the other side experiences.
/r/MensRights04/01/21 11:22 PM

I agree. We should be trying to create a world with equality for all genders and focus our efforts where there are injustices while not fighting for what is solely in our own individual self interest. For there to be peace and equality, we need balance. Otherwise both sides will be at war, trying to gain the advantage over the other. That's the wrong approach and will only lead to perpetuated problems.
