My ex had to go to anger management for assaulting me and afterwards he would literally follow me with a notebook of appropriated language blaming me for trigging his abuse. Men are taught to have boundaries early in life. Women are not and this is the result. Stop telling girls having a “man” -even a degenerate one- is better than being a “single cat lady.” Teaching girls to always stand up for themselves should be taught in sex ed since their parents probably replicate these same toxic dynamics.
