Hello Dr. thank you for doing this ama. A couple weeks ago my left testicle hurt when I would walk. The pain went away when I walked but then I noticed it was a little swollen. I went to my family doctor and they prescribed me antibiotics and I have taken all of them. Although the antibiotics seemed to have decreased the swelling somewhat, it is STILL swollen. Should I be worried?

Sorry if im stealing the thread on this but I'm a noob at reddit and don't know how to do my own posts. So I have this girl in my math class that ive done some light flirting with, got her number, and whenever I do flirt she seems to respond pretty well. It turns out she is a personal trainer at fitness works and I told her ive been interested in finding a new gym to join, she told me about a 3 day free membership and wants me to come to a class that she teaches at the gym. So my question is do …

Definately. Anyone here who is hoping that a few negs is their magic way to hop in the sack with a girl, is very sadly mistaken. It is really just one step in the entire attraction process, and one that should not be overused because you come off really try hard if you do nothing but neg.

Lol well I don't think anyone on here can really do anything about it so I guess "someone" is gonna have to put up with it.

Your right, body language is just as important. As far as how she already percieves you, what if its your first time approaching her? How do you think she is going to percieve you? She is going to make general assumptions that very good looking women generally make. Those assumptions many times will consist of " I bet he is just talking to me so he can try to get with me." Or " God another random guy is gonna hit on me, here we go again." The point of a neg is to empty these thoughts out of her …

I see where your coming from. It sounds pretty sleazy to make a conscious effort to lower a woman's self esteem, however, I think that negging is meant only for very very pretty women. This is because these types of women are going to assume you are hitting on them just by you approaching them. The point is to get them off their high horse attitude so you can show them your personality comfortably. If you don't neg these types of women, most of the time there will be tension during a conversatio…

Why would we need to that? For the guys that are too lazy to make themselves attractrive? I'd rather those guys don't get laid.

No, not if you get them attracted to you first. If you tell a girl you like her but you haven't qualified her or gained her interest, then she is going to assume that you ONLY like her for her what she looks like. Rather you should make her feel like she has earned your attention and has EARNED your attraction.

I never do that whole "negging" thing people some people seem to love around here, but I will playfully tease a girl. I think it all depends on your definition of "neg". Negging shouldn't be thought of as an insult, it's just a way of teasing her; as you said. I'm sure you give girls shit when you are teasing them, teasing can be classified as a neg.

Maybe its just me, but it seems like if you would do this more than once or twice in a conversation you would just come across as retarded.

LOL it probably just wasn't convincing or playful enough. I would have been like "just you buddy, cause im totally gay". I would have cracked myself up!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
