You need a Moroccan Djellaba, mang. It's like a jedi robe with holes in the sides, so you can get at what's in your pockets.

I don't like leading with a physical compliment. She doesn't know you at all, and already you're telling her you want to sleep with her--your game had better be tight, or it's going to blow up on you. Focus on what she wants, not what you want. Comment on what she's doing right now, not what you want to do with her later. "Wow, that's a huge laundry basket! Are you washing for all your evil stepsisters?" "It's rare to see other people under 60 in the jazz section. Do you play?" "You look like yo…

The author has an odd idea of the goals of the seduction process. If all you want is sex, obviously prostitution is cheaper, but that's not why we're here. We're here learning this stuff because we want to be better men. We want to improve our ability to speak to women, to relate to other people, and to put our best self out there in social interactions. Paying a prostitute won't help me achieve those goals. Sex I can get. Sex is easy. Achieving personal growth is hard, and it takes practice. Th…

It's really best to arrange your conversation such that this doesn't happen in the first place. If she's having a great time with you, she probably won't say it in the first place. "I have a boyfriend" is usually another way of saying, "I am not impressed with you," regardless of whether there's a boyfriend or not. You've got to demonstrate value well in advance of this point. Now, if it's the first thing out of her mouth, then either your appearance or your approach are lacking, because she's t…

I already stopped trying to have meaningful relationships because of shit like this but now it looks like I'll have to stick to one night stands and just completely disregarding women as competent adults. Maybe this attitude is why women decide to stop sleeping with you once they've gotten to know you a bit.

Break all contact. Never speak to this woman again. You'll thank me later.

Corollary to this: you make your own culture. I live in Japan, a culture where the done thing is either for a man to confess his love to a woman before any physical contact occurs, or (in a startling number of marriages even today) to go to a matchmaker and receive an arranged marriage. And yet, I spend time with women in the same way Paramorgue describes--"Let's take a walk", "let's go see some fireworks", etc. And I believe this is the ideal way to go about it.

Suck it up and solo sarge. Other guys only make bouncing from the venue more of a chore.

Unfortunately, 金玉 (kintama, crude word for testicles) sounds nothing like バスケ(basuke, basketball), so it's not a great pun. If OP wants to do something like that, he should ask her if she can play the shakuhachi. But I really think faking a level of interest in the Japanese language would be counterproductive.

Hi, I'm a sedditor in Japan. I'd say Japanese girls are less likely to initiate things than American girls, and less comfortable with physical affection. The level of kino you've described would be considered foreplay in Japan (which is not to say you're doing something wrong there; Japanese guys are pussies for the most part). Other than that, the fact that she's studying abroad tells me more than the fact that she's Japanese. She's definitely a lot cooler and more open-minded than 90% of Japan…

I'm not into negging specifically, but I do have some third rails when talking to women, at least not until date 10 or so. I never bring up rape or molestation of any kind, because 1 in 3 women (!) have been. I also never talk about abortion, child abuse, eating disorders, cutting, or really anything very dark. I love dark humor, but I don't dish it out with people unless we've been friends for months and months. More than that, I want the people I meet to associate me with good thoughts, good e…

You can show interest in a woman once she's demonstrated that she's worth your time. That's why you ask her qualifiers--"All my friends are physically active. What do you like to do on the weekends?" Be genuine, and don't just accept any answer! If she tells you something boring, don't act like she's interesting; it's an obvious move that shows you don't have standards. Show her that you have standards, make her demonstrate that she meets your standards, and show interest based on how much she m…

The seduction community is not about coming up with strategies and techniques to trick women into bed anymore. The name of the game is self-transformation, and the goal is for those successful behaviors to become an honest extension of your new self. If you can't be yourself and keep a woman, then that self has got to change.

For those of us who speak Japanese, could you give some examples of some effective bits, negs, openers, and other assorted linguistic gems that have worked for you? I'm at about a JLPT 2.5, but my game is vastly better in English than in Japanese, and I'd like to know what's worked for you.

I like the article; it's a great send-up of the way advertising has co-opted feminism. Surely this belongs in the feminisms subreddit, rather than MensRights, though. I don't see what this has to do with men's rights.

The Civil Rights movement was invented by Edward Bernays to put blacks in charge of spending money, which their non-numerical brains are not equipped to do. See: transformation of advertising from fact-based to manipulative emotion-based. I hope that by changing your comment from sexist to racist, the error will become clearer to you. Hasty generalization about any group reflects more poorly on the speaker than the subject.

Not at all. First: Nonfiction titles also satisfy boys' innate desires to make sense of the universe and to test its boundaries. Then later: And when teachers assign students to "read a book," nonfiction books are often off-limits—according to some educators, they're appropriate for strictly utilitarian tasks. It seems pretty clear to me that the author favors the use of nonfiction for encouraging reading in the first quotation, and in the second, she admonishes educators for dismissing nonficti…

I love boycotts, because I can feel self-righteous for not doing something. It fits my busy lifestyle of sitting in front of my computer, inert.

I can't seem to find this author's qualifications anywhere. Where did she get her psychology degree? Who certifies this person's expertise? Is she yet another "expert" selling a book, as the site the submitter linked implies? I'm sure this resume doesn't do much to sell books. (I doubt that the IMDB link is actually her--but that would be awesome)
