As a woman... Saying no isn't the hard part. It's someone taking your no at face value and walking away from it after that's apparently the hard part. You're 100% correct in the fact that they shouldn't use it as a quid pro quo situation, or to be coercive though.

I said it wasn't an opinion. Just stating that it does happen. And I think the problem with the people I saw is that they were old and couldn't use their hands the way they needed to to clean those areas. After it happened they had more assistance in the shower, so it didn't happen again. Sucks for the first time though. That being said, my opinion is to not circumcise.

Not a male, so I have no opinion on the matter, but from personal experience in the healthcare setting, I did actually see several instances where hygiene and cleanliness (or lack thereof) lead to infection of the foreskin and later abscess which needed to be drained... So it's not a myth. Just saying.

I saw this one and thought she was such a twat. I'm a woman and know that I would be absolutely pissed if my family had doughnuts right before I would be home and didn't even save me a bit of one. Why the hell is it okay for women to treat their "partners" like they're money making machines with no respect, but then when the partner gets upset... HE'S the a-hole?!

That’s absolutely ridiculous. Gym shorts and maybe hiking shoes would have been a better choice for working at a camp. You definitely should have let them know you weren’t feeling well and made them call a medical professional to the camp

Agreed. In cases like this, I wish we still stoned people to death. Although in all reality, that would be too quick too. Poor dude suffered his whole life at the hands of his Mother. The one person who should know him better than anyone and take care of him. My little boy is 5 and I would die before letting someone take fists to him. Or sex toys. Or any of that.

Right. My husband and I like to watch stuff together, but if he's gaming and I ask if he wants to watch something, he might say no. And I fully prepare myself for that and say "ok" and then watch what I want lol. It's totally normal and in fact helpful in a relationship to do separate things sometimes. Everyone needs time to themselves.

Exactly my first response to this, however endometriosis can be the cause of these, and there's really not a great treatment available. I will say though I have it and have never missed work because of them. Ibuprofen and acetaminophen together works wonders

Listen, when I got married I realized a whole world of problems with Men's rights. When I had a son I realized even more. I feel so sorry for him having to grow up in a place where you can't even look at a girl the wrong way and you'll be ostracized. I'm afraid of him attempting to date later.

I (36F) had a police officer tell me and the rest of the grand jury I was sitting on that when called for domestic violence, unless the male is bleeding, he will be the one in cuffs. Period. This is the most disgusting thing I've heard to date. I've commented before on Reddit about how ridiculous it is to raise your girls to think hitting a boy is fine, and that you shouldn't expect to be hit back.

And again, your sources speak only of Canada. But think about how big of a deal it is to lose your scholarship, place on a team, and education because someone falsely accuses you (I.e. the Duke lacrosse players circa 2006) and they walk free of any repercussions due to their attorney saying they have a "history of mental illness". I'm sure the stripper in this case had very little problems getting another job, while these 3 young men going to Duke on scholarship lost the future they were plannin…

True enough. I’m (35F) on the “if you falsely accuse someone of something that will cause hard time, you should serve the sentence you were willing to bestow on the other person” train. It’s absolutely ridiculous that a female can falsely accuse someone and cause complete and utter chaos in their professional and educational lives, only to turn around and get 6 mo in jail for lying.
