If you read it, it says in black and white what I said. People keep asking, and its literally right there in the post. I said I don't think relationships at work are a good idea. Exactly that.

Nah she had a boyfriend at the time actually. In the last 2 years she's dated like 3 guys from that company. So clearly our views are different.

Yeah I did not actually say I had a hard time finding work after. As in I basically took 30% less pay at a smaller company. However in order to get the same opportunity at a company that large, I will have to go overseas. Its not my most ideal option. Also references are contractually forbidden. The work I do gets me work, not peoples opinion of me. I show my work and if they like it I get work. Like an audition.

Have to go abroad and leave the country to achieve the same standard of work. Debating whether or not to, might just not do that work anymore as the experience jaded me pretty hard. As far as I'm aware that's what the situation was. Maybe they misheard it or projected their feelings about it, regardless I don't care. If you're going to punish an allegation without even notifying the person of what was said, then whats to stop the most extreme version of this? As in a man gets sentenced for rape,…

They were gossiping about various couples that had started dating within the workplace. I said that I didn't think it was a good idea to enter into workplace relationships. I'm there to work, not find a girlfriend. Also looking in a place with a 7:1 ratio of men to women is just silly from my point of view. I'm not that special, why would I compete in a place that's filled with men better than me at that point in time. Maybe few years down the line, when I'm established and can go wherever I wan…

So yeah that is actually pretty reasonable so I'll explain why I didn't. At the time, I was more or less trying to just exist. If I survived I got a year contract. Trying not to rock the boat was what I was trying to do. If I got that year contract I was going to complain but she succeeded in getting me not renewed with her compaint about me making her uncomfortable, even though I barely spoke to her and was literally forced to work within 1m of her. She had already used the system to have me pu…

So it was a contract. I wasn't "officially" fired. The law says they pretty much have the authority to not renew any contract for any reason, because its an agreement for a set amount of work. Like You're essentially a freelancer. When you join them its basically a renewed contract, like revolving. So I was anticipating at the minimum the next 5 years of my life mapped out.

That's how you get blacklisted. The goal shouldn't be to sabotage my future, but learn from my mistakes and just not have it happen again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
