i guess the answer to this depends on your age. if you are 21 and in university without female friends, thats much more odd than being 50 without female friends. there is even a study that came to the conclusion that over 50% of all people over 35 got no friends at all!

actually i didn't say this. i hinted to the fact that your example is pretty pointless because you choosed men who are at the top 1% in categories which are perceived as attractive (money + fame).

Why would someone that has no trouble attracting the top 5% of women have such a conflicted mindset? because for some men, the act of banging women isn't painting their world pink. probably it is very important to get a women if you seldom get one, but if it is no problem to get a women, it is nothing special. if i give a starving african an hamburger, he will be happy for the day. if i give a hamburger to someone with an high paid job in the us, it will not change anything in his mindset.

don't know if this is the right advice, but i would probably tell her that my new girlfriend is real jealous, hence you don't want to communicate outside of work anymore. "too much relationship-stress" (yes, i lie to people i don't care for)

it is imo also a numbers game. if you go e.g. to concert a as a spectator, chances are high that only a minority of people are seeing you. so some girls who would be interested in you and would position themselves near you for an approach aren't even aware that you exist. but if you are on stage, everybody is seeing you.

they are. being on stage is not only attracting girls, it is attracting everyone. everytime i am on stage, i am a people magnet after the gig. if you are the center of attention, you stay the center of attention for a while. try it. i also think it doesnt matter which stage. imo even karaoke would work if you are good at it.

"And he ....never gets laid." he is one of the few main tv characters who openly admits to get hookers whenever he wants to get laid.

this is relatively normal behaviour. you are showing them how a change can influence your life in a positive way, which means you are a reminder of their own failures because they are afraid of growth. e.g. addicts who wants to overcome their addiction are facing the same problems with former "friends" (which often weren't friends, but partners in crime) because often the former circle is trying to sabotage or manipulate to pull people back in their circle. Bob Dylan said it beautiful imo: While…
