Separated, what now?Get on Tinder, Bumble or Plenty of Fish. Don't get in a relationship but definitely get back out there and meet people. IT HURTS but the pain will pass eventually. But sitting at home by yourself just going over it again and again in your head isn't healthy. And oh yeah see a therapist. IT'S A MUST to help deal with how your feeling right now. good luck | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/19 08:32 PM
Does it ever end?8 years? You need to speak to a therapist. I UNDERSTAND really. But when I did my research on "how long" the pain lasts the average is about 18 months. If you haven't seen a therapist PLEASE DO. The pain is supposed to go away...eventually. Good luck. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/19 08:28 PM

My and my wife were/are on pretty good terms. I got a pre-paid legal service (Legal Shield) that i used for filing the paperwork. It has worked out pretty well and Legal Shield does uncontested divorces just remember GET A MEDIATOR. Good Luck | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/19 08:17 PM |
Any advice for a brand-new soon-to-be divorced guy?Time Time heals all wounds its GOING to hurt for awhile and it will SLOWLY start to dissipate (the hurt). My wife and i divorced after 15 years of marriage. I'm better and you will be too. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/19 08:11 PM
Don’t know if I’ve seen this here before. This is 100% true. Any relationship with a woman is by default one-sided favoring her.If he's not happy it will manifest itself in the relationship. Therefore, it eventually will come back to haunt her and SHE will be unhappy in the relationship meaning she will now care about the problem. | /r/MGTOW | 28/02/18 02:00 AM
Wife has an ongoing affair but refuses to get a divorce.Getting a divorce myself in NC. Keep in mind in NC you have to separated for a year. REMEMBER this is 'Murica you can't be FORCED to stay married. If one person in the marriage wants a divorce THEY WILL GET IT. Even if the other person has to be dragged kicking and screaming to the courthouse. Somebody already mentioned MOST DEFINITELY get a thrapist to talk about your emotions it allows you to vent and get all that stuff out. And oh yeah GET a lawyer it sounds like you got the money and the mea… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/07/17 05:17 PM
Honest question, would love honest answers...i didn't see it in the comments. Have you considered talking to a therapist. Going through a divorce myself after 15 years of marriage IT HURTS, but consider looking into taking to somebody. It allows you a chance to vent and get feedback on the your behaviors and how to cope. Psychology Today has a database here | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/07/17 02:38 AM
