Probably not due to hormones, but they can to gay men lol

For me white collar is better, but there comes a point where it starts to work against them (I.e. finance bro who makes a killing without expending any effort and is blind to how other people live) at that point it starts to seem like a male version of infantilization. I feel like lawyers/doctors/tax professionals are the perfect sweet spot of lucrative and actual hard work. Blue collar is sexy too, but I wouldn’t seriously consider it unless they’re upwardly mobile, like becoming a foreman/havi…

Depends on if they’re a good person. I don’t might a complex mind as long as it leads back to a base kind personality.

Like there are levels. I’m an adult in a city so casual sex is going to happen. It would only be an issue if I got the vibe they were doing it for sport or like “collecting” sexual partners

A lot of women do really counterintuitive things in relationships that they’ve been gaslit into doing by other women. Things like rejecting small gifts and acts of romance that are genuine.

Eventually 100%, but I’m 25 now so I probably wouldn’t at this time out of interest of starting my own family.

I mean you could take an Uber to work and it could get destroyed and you die...would that stop you from taking an Uber? You can also develop a relationship from hookups if you make it exclusive when you want to and make sure to communicate/dip out if it’s not what you want.

I would be glad he had the nerve to try something but we would laugh about it later and maybe take his future “hobby of the month” a bit more seriously if he actually wants to succeed. If I’m the hardcore one in the relationship and he’s a big teddy bear I might try to coach him a bit before he tries it again. Now if he’s like a macho douche on the other hand he may never live this down.

This is not happening because a huge sector of society will not be ok with the government having access to their DNA. In a rapidly expanding world it was one of the aspects of confidentiality left now that technology can track anyone anywhere.

Love this and I’m super glad that your response to your breakup was to focus on your life and family!

Plenty of bi men are extremely masculine. I didn’t apply this to men who take a feminine role in sex, merely bi men who take the masculine or “giving” role in sex who also happen to have sex with men.

Unpopular opinion-I think women who have an issue with bi men have stuff to work out with their self image or confidence. A bi guy doesn’t find men attractive in the same way he finds women attractive, and if he does, it doesn’t always mean that the female is comparatively masculine or that the male is comparatively feminine. Any issue someone has dating someone bi is probably experiencing insecurity as we all get some form of validation by our partners. If you are a woman who is insecure regard…

I have, actually, become attracted to a guy after witnessing his personality. It is possible. As far as wealth goes, I don’t care if you work at McDonald’s, as long as you at least are a top employee at that McDonald’s or maybe want to manage a McDonald’s some day. Money is different than initiative in terms of someone’s attractiveness. I’m more likely to be attracted to a hard worker that earns minimum wage than some nepotism hire that makes good money but doesn’t take their job seriously.

I often see a lot of posts there written by women in situations where they are being disrespected by their partner, or where boundaries are vague in their relationships. One misconception about the redpill philosophy is that women here are subservient or doormats. I follow this sub because I carry myself in a way that demands respect, but also have humility toward my partner and I think that attitude could rub off on some of the relationship-related subreddits. A lot of women there are looking f…

Some women are just naturally masculine and don’t feel insecure in that regard. They are awesome. Some others really wish they felt comfortable performing femininity or feel pressured to do so even if they don’t want to. I think this sort of group breeds insecure women. They either don’t want to play the game and feel forced to, or they really want to play the game and either don’t feel like they can or have sort of bought into the narrative that in this day and age, “real” women just wear leggi…

My big 2 are posture and word choice! In terms of word choice, it means being polite and precise with what you mean to say.

Thank you dear neurosurgeon. Emotions may be unreliable due to perception, but the OP is looking for a way to explain her emotions, be they unreliable or not, to her SO to find comfort. Disregarding her emotions as unreliable perception biases doesn’t help her, or him, in any way. Keep in mind her question here is about a relationship and your ideas about rational thought and fact aren’t going to make dealing with the problem any easier. I repeat that emotions are fact in the sense that they oft…

I'm glad you reported her for the sound of music comment. That is one way to keep a balance and promote healthy workplace interactions. I was this co-worker when I was younger, and I would say that the things that usually packed the biggest wallop were the type of polite, but curt comments from someone wiser than me that cut me down at the knees. You don't have to say a lot to mean a lot. Example: Coworker: "I can't BELIEVE you haven't tried "local food"! You are SOOO uncultured/foreign/etc"…

I disagree with this. This kind of reaction is something this co-worker would do (keeping tabs) and it may only exaggerate the problem.

a quiet random act of kindness always make me feel younger, because believing in the good in people is the opposite of a jaded existence.

I am both emotional and analytical and have found myself dating men who do not have the same emotions as me, but have the analytical aspect in common with me. To make things easier for a manly man to understand, I've always explained that emotions are fact and should be treated as such. They all come from a deeper tangible problem that needs a resolution. I always repeat this mantra in case I have a complex emotion I can't exactly put into words at the moment, and it will at least give him somet…

Most of the time, I would say yes, but keeping them fashionable and to a minimum can help you look modern and sexy. However, here is a thin line between sexy/mysterious and trashy.

While I completely understand and share your love of homemaking and all, based on the way he compares you, he may view you as willing to change to what he wants by bowing to insecurities. Especially given your age and the fact you are pursuing a degree, now is the time to make sure that you yourself are stabilized either with a good job, or with good finances. If he likes this side of you, then he is willing to love you through all of your progressions and he might lay off of the suggestions and…

It may be hard to not be a social doormat in work and social situations at first, but you can still set moral boundaries for yourself when dealing with other people. This can come in the form of not speaking negatively when others are, or even setting moral boundaries for romantic partners. That doesn't require social finesse, it requires a moral backbone, and it will make you feel better about yourself for good reason.

Not to invalidate how you feel, but I would think that most people consider you still in your best years for quite a while, even conservatively! I'm younger than you and I still think of like 24-27 a time for peaking! and that's not to say that you couldn't hit huge strides after that point.
