The highest priority here is the safety of both of you. As others have said, this is extremely high risk, and could easily be awful for both of you if things go south. Maybe focus on women who you don’t live with.

I took from this that you’re now dating cilantro. Is that correct?

Firstly, 40 ain’t old in dating. Not these days. It’s an age where your options range from late 20s to whatever is your upper limit. In terms of the ‘interest to sex’ conversion, I’d be shocked if your religious upbringing is not a factor. Religion has a strong tendency to derail our natural humanness. Rather than pinning everything on the seduction community, I sincerely think you would benefit from some therapy aimed at de-conditioning inner patterns from the formative early childhood and teen…

It’s hard to say without knowing your circumstances (location, social environment, etc.). But as a starting point, consider that social interactions lead to more interactions. Imagine you are at a supermarket. You begin chatting to a lovely elderly couple. A young woman sees you being friendly and kind. If you begin chatting to her too, or soon after speaking with the couple, she will be more open to that ‘kind, safe, social guy who was being so nice and fun with that couple’. Contrast that with…

Let me start by saying you are still very young. Really. You have more than five decades of sex life to go. It is not easy to turn off emotions, but anger at yourself obviously is not helpful. And if you have any anger at women that is definitely not helpful. Or healthy. Women owe us nothing, and it is our job to be desirable to them if we want them as any kind of partners, for either short or long term. And to treat them respectfully whether they accept or reject us. The ability to release your…

You’d be surprised how attractive to women being super competent at certain tasks / hobbies / sports is. Often it’s about being a ‘big fish in a small pond’, but if there’s something that you do better than most, and women are involved or witnessing what you’re doing, it can work well. It’s no reason to not try to excel in other areas, but surely you’re excellent at something??

Moving to a new city is a great way to start conversations. “Hey, I’m new in town. Can you tell me the best place to….” “Hey, I’m new in town, what do you guys do for fun / relaxing / sports / dancing / drinking / excitement?”

A ‘no lose’ variation on this is to simply ask “do you want to kiss me?” If she says no, just say “that’s ok - you just looked like you had something on your mind”. If she says yes, well, hopefully you know what to do… (Credit: old school stuff)

Thanks for clarifying! Same word different meanings in different places! Hey man, I wish you all the very best. Relating with other humans can often be counterintuitive, so we all keep learning every day. I wish you every success.

I hope this is just a language thing, but when you say “so I bashed her”, please tell me you did not physically assault her?? Where I am from (Australia) to “bash” someone means to beat them up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
