Quote the parts that demonstrate that men have mean higher g than women
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/19 06:43 AM

Where's your evidence that mean IQ is different between men and women? Does your hunch override decades of quantitative research?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/19 04:14 AM

Pretty much every study has demonstrated that men and women have a roughly equal mean IQ, but women are more clustered towards the mean, which means that there is a higher rate of both very unintelligent and very intelligent men. Don't talk out of your ass about something that at this point has even become a well established digestible 'fact' in pop science. The only common mean disparity between men and women is in spatial reasoning, and that isn't even found across all cultures.

It's pretty horrible for men and women with the added bonus of giving girls a poor role model for what women are supposed to be like. "Distant" has its own problems, though. There's a happy middle-ground between overbearing and distant.

the amount of time a mother spends with her kids doesn't necessarily correlate to warmth. some of the most broken women I've known (who passed their brokenness onto their kids) were stay at home moms. I've also known some amazing stay at home moms, but there's definitely a range of personalities who are attracted to it. This, it's all about quality rather than quantity. People aren't even supposed to devote their entire existence to tending to a kid; it's an extremely recent development. In many…

Dude...it would take like 5 minutes on google scholar to find a wealth of research on divorce in America. Hell, I learned all of this in a lecture from one of the foremost researchers in marriage economics. Instead of assuming they don't exist, which doesn't make any fucking sense whatsoever given how important the field is, why don't you actually learn something and look at the data? Is it because that's your anecdotal data? ...no, it's because OP is wealthy and educated and as such is not in t…

no, I just think, like most people who are scientifically literate, that it's better to believe peer-reviewed research conducted by experts in the field over stories from anonymous people with zero credentials who were emotionally wounded by women. Of course there are people who get screwed in divorce. It happens plenty. However, the rate of divorce among wealthy and educated people is so astoundingly low, and mean marriage satisfaction is so high, that wealthy and educated people have no need t…

Uhhh, I'm much more inclined to believe statistics gathered by people with PhDs using well-tested research methods that were published in a peer-reviewed journal than the anecdotes of those in a subreddit specifically for people who have trouble with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/15 12:33 AM

Statistically, the marriages of well-educated, mid- to high-income white people are successful. In fact, the divorce rate for those who have completed graduate school is only 9%, even with multiple marriages factored in. The scare statistics about divorce and such are overwhelmingly skewed towards poor, young, uneducated etc. people. Things like TRP aren't particularly useful for people who actually have their shit together and are statistically very unlikely to experience any of the 'horror sto…

Observational learning is not grounded in scientific literature, so it is not the same as this hypothetical subreddit. I mean, redpillers who know their fathers also practiced observational learning.

Yes, there are men who go through lengthy dry spells. Does this mean that most or all men have difficulty finding partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/15 06:04 AM

How can you discredit my Cosmo example just because Cosmo doesn't have a beliefs system. That doesn't make any sense. Not having a coherent belief system does not mean it doesn't discuss manipulative sex practices for women. You are so grounded in the blue pill it is hilarious. TRP advice is grounded on a belief system. I was discussing a hypothetical subreddit for women that is analogous to TRP. You said that 'there already is one' or someshit, and I stated that there is not for the aforementio…

Sounds like you're generalizing your own bad luck to all men. Most men are capable of finding partners without vast, years-long dry spells. I'm not sure what the whole '20/80' thing comes from aside from redpillers' desire to feel better about the fact that they aren't laid by assuming that most other men aren't as well.

What does looking into the dating habits of a very small group of people have to do with female sexual strategy based upon scientific research?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/15 02:17 AM
1

Lol, that is completely different from /r/theredpill. For one, the advice you find in places like Cosmo are page-fillers for bored housewives who want to spice things up. Shit like "5 sex tips that'll make your man happy" aren't grounded in any sort of ideology or belief system that is required in order to adopt the tips. There isn't some weird subculture centered around womens' relationship tips. Secondly, nobody claims that any of that is actually true or has any sort of basis in 'fact'. It is…

I have already addressed this. Women's magazines don't offer tips grounded in 'biotruths', and the tips offered are content fillers targeted towards bored housewives as opposed to an entire ideology and belief system, which this hypothetical subreddit would be to mirror TRP.

We admit our weaknesses to ourselves every day. We have to, so that we can target and overcome them. That's part of the process of becoming stronger. Oh? Is this a part of redpill doctrine? We DON'T admit weaknesses to women, however. Why not? Because women are turned off by displays of weakness. That's a really sad idea. Nobody, man or woman, likes a crybaby, but a man in a healthy relationship should be able to disclose to their partner. It's a shame you'll never be able to experience a relati…

It is extremely easy for them, just not a top quality dude. It's very easy for them to get average guys in LTRs. So? It's easy for men to enter average relationships as well. absolutely not. If this were the case TRP/PUA etc simply would not exist. Most men don't join PUA/TRP because they don't need it. It is a very small group of people.

I am answering in the present tense because it exists in real life, rather than in the specific form of a subreddit. However, if the existence of a subreddit is essential, cross out the present tense and replace it with the conditional tense. You implied that it exists. It doesn't. What are you even going on about? Because even the harshest of social brainwashing can't defeat what's biologically ingrained in most men--that is, a distaste for committing to or providing resources for sluts. Men evolved to avoid providing for women who were likely to cuckold or commit paternity fraud, IE sluts. The evolutionary logic is pretty basic. Fair enough, but you were the one bemoaning how men are being sexually oppressed, which is a bit hypocritical given that you are stating that it is okay for women to be sexually …

There several books for sexual strategy for women. I believe the most popular one is is called The Rules: Time tested secrets to capturing the heart of Mr Right. There are even more books for male sexual strategy. Does that mean that TRP shouldn't exist? Also you can observe that women look for Mr right from the very title of the book not just any relationship, the book is hypergamy distilled. Do the opinions of the author generalize to all women, and are they based in empirical evidence? Should…

You are suggesting that: All women find it easy to enter a relationship All women are naturally inclined to get what they want, whenever they want it, through 'baiting' It is difficult to enter an LTR with a 'high-quality' man, despite the fact that most men and women enter into LTRs, and the most successful LTRs are statistically those where the partners are similar to one another (i.e. there is no partner who is of higher quality) Want to provide some reliable evidence for these claims? Really? TRP absolutely advocates dumping women who are too overtly manipulative. They have it right there in the lingo, "nexting." Well that is good! Open communication is dismissed as a solution on the basis that you can't negotiate desire. What?! Healthy relationships are built on a foundation of communication and compromise. Some things should be kept secret, so long as they are not related to the relationship and will not affect the relationship. If there are desires in your partner that are…

Lol, calm down. You're being a bit irrational, hun. I am answering your title question, presuming it is the most important. Well, you really didn't. You replied with: It already exists? That is not an answer to the question. You just used the question as an excuse to reactivate your outrage towards women who go out and get laid while clubbing by men who aren't you. I thought TRP did exactly that. You can't very well deal with shitty women's behavior if you don't even know how to spot them first. TRP operates on the assumption that the behaviour of all women (AWALT) is shitty. As such, they mock anybody who believes that they've met anybody who doesn't employ manipulation tactics (e.g. 'oh look, you've found a unicorn!', 'get over your oneitis, she's going to cheat on you or dump you for a chad eventually'). So no, it doesn't do that. It identifies what it …

I know how to determine whether or not a piece of literature is valid. Do you have any peer-reviewed, quantitative evidence that this is the common behaviour of every woman who is single? Nice narrative, but that doesn't illustrate anything but your fantasy about what the average girl you can't sleep with does. It does not illustrate how women can use peer-reviewed, empirical "biotruths" to get what they want out of life, nor does it have any basis in, well, pretty much anything but your imagination, so please choose a more illustrative example from your collection…

Women are naturally programmed to take advantage of men, they don't really need too much help. Do you have any empirical, quantitative, peer-reviewed evidence for this? Hypergamy is their internal compass. Do you have any empirical, quantitative, peer-reviewed evidence for this? If women had a sub like TRP it would just be "how to cuckold your beta," "how to guilt trip your man into not making your take a paternity test" or "10 ways to get the most out of your divorce" etc. etc. So what? None of those are based in any sort of scientific evidence, though (well, usually not, and even if they claim that it is, it's usually a massive misinterpretation of the literature), and women who read it don't adopt an ideology or belief system based upon what they read. Things like that target bored middle-aged women who are content in what they believe but want to spice up their lives, whereas TRP offers advice based upon a foundation of belief that you must adopt first. TRP blames their own personal failures in getting laid on women and feminism. Still a virgin? Feminism's fault. Got dumped for someone more compatible? Hypergamy. Can't find a job after graduation? Affirmative action. Don't like the current political climate? Female sufferage. I seldom see any sliver of self-awareness or personal responsibility on TRP; the vast sea of posts is primarily focused upon 13-paragraph essays about AWALT and other assorted complainposts. Yup, the selection bias and self-reports make the data unreliable. /r/theredpill self-selects for certain types of boys who are more likely to interpret their experiences in a similar manner (under the TRP mindset) and have the same sorts of experiences (e.g. dead bedroom marriage, bad breakup, ventures into the singles scene). "Game" is something you have, not something you "play." That's why it's referred to as "He/She's got game", not "He/She plays game(s)." 'game-playing' in Ludus love doesn't refer to actual gameplay, so it seems that you are misunderstanding the concept. What did you interpret Ludus to be? It does not literally mean 'turning a relationship into a game'. 1 > 2 > 3 I don't give a shit about career since I will be able to function as a sole provider. However, intelligence, a similar sense of humor, somewhat overlapping interests, similar values, and ambition in an academic interest are non-negotiable. As for attractiveness, I wouldn't date somebody I am not attracted to, but that's secondary to personality, and a good personality can make someone seem a hell of a lot more physically attractive than they would otherwise be. Halo effect and all.

You clearly don't know very much about brain and behavioural science. Observational methods that aren't used to investigate very universal and low-level behaviours are messy as fuck and have widely been abandoned outside of social and developmental psychology. In order to do a behavioural analysis, you have to account for individual differences such as culture, level of general affective response to various stimuli (e.g. is this person generally have a flat affect? do they bottle up their anger …

The inventories used to measure satisfaction don't consist of "are you satisfied"? They are normalized measures that subversively quantify satisfaction in a relationship without openly asking about the participants' level of satisfaction. It's also a bit silly to suggest that the data is invalid due to self-awareness, given that there is no evidence that those who report lower levels of satisfaction are more self-aware. Not to mention that there is no way to quantify introspective measures throu…

Yea I'm just speculating, tbh I have no idea what goes through those women's heads. Fair enough. I believe that they're pedophiles looking to dominate their prey, just as male teachers who fuck their students are. They even use the same tactics, such as grooming and getting their victim drunk beforehand. Just look at that one famous studentfucker who gave birth to her victim's child when he was ~12-13; he was by all accounts a short, quiet Asian (or Pacific Islander?) child. Certainly not high S…

SMV is relative. So you're saying that women find different traits attractive? A female teacher with no options other than an attractive student might consider him to be high SMV. Have you seen all of the female teachers on the news for pedophilia? Most of the comments on such stories are variations of "would bang". Many of the teachers who do this clearly have high SMV in redpill terms, as they are young and attractive. More importantly, outliers. But AWALT though

You're suggesting that pubescent 14-year-olds with tiny dicks and breaking voices are alpha to the adult women who hold power over them? It's the same as female prison guards fucking alpha inmates. So when a woman in power does it, it's because the inmates are "alpha", while it's a dominance fantasy when men do it? How do you account for all of the female BDSM enthusiasts who sissify and bind their partners? Are they attracted to "alphas" then?

Its unintelligible Let me break it down for you: It would almost impossible to gain evidence of perjury in this case, because the behaviour that would justify divorce would occur naturally in an unhealthy/unhappy relationship. You are suggesting that couples will be able to peek into the future and determine the reasons for why they would get a divorce, and how they will react in kind? Okay, so if divorce should be available without a "good" reason, then why are you suggesting that a penalty be imposed on those who want a divorce? Amicable divorce happens, but oftentimes one party is reluctant to agree to the divorce for whatever reason. And yes, perjury is a thing, but creating the conditions for the other party to create a situation that allows for divorce to occur without penalty, or doing something that would cause the other party to divorce with good reason, would be near…

Lol, restrictive divorce doctrine doesn't "prevent hypergamy". It just prevents dissatisfied women from cuckolding the men they don't want to be with in the first place. It allows men in unhappy or one-sided relationships to find partners who are actually compatible with them so they don't get cuckolded.

Wow, I did not expect that to actually bring you full circle. If this is in fact true, stop changing the subject. k Well, then you shouldn't blame any of these men for having hostility toward women. They obviously have temperaments that make them unkind, ergo, they are victims. Po' babies... I never suggested that redpillers are all hostile, bitter, etc by nature. And somehow TRP could never be like that. Yes. /r/theredpill 'philosophy' emerged from internet blogs and forums. It is not a part of life, as finances and relationships are. Mental gymnastics again! Why is that the only situation? Just because you don't like it? Because 'dread game' is emotional blackmail, and withholding sex can be considered emotional abuse as well (and a form that is far more damaging than dread game). As such, dread game is appropriate when all other courses of action has been exhausted, and the dead bedroom issue has not been solved. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but in the situations you use it in, the only other option is breaking up, so why n…

You never asked me to explain, but here you go: /r/theredpill encourages men to adopt a belief system that paints women to be inferior in more or less every domain due to a pop interpretation of evolutionary psychology. /r/theredpill encourages its users to view relationships, romantic and otherwise, as power struggles with clear winners and losers, and coaches people how to act in accordance to this. /r/theredpill teaches men that women won't like them (and will never love them) unless they dis…

So then it is a good way to get sex? It is a good way to get sex in a dead bedroom while you are married with children, if all alternatives have been exhausted and you reaaaallllyyy want to stay together, for whatever reason. Fair enough, I suppose that looking at studies can be unhelpful on an individual level, particularly given that it indicates what often happens as opposed to what will happen to you. There is a good deal of evidence that people pair-up with people who are similar to them, but that doesn't mean that you will encounter people who want to pair up with somebody who is similar to them. Do you know a single thing about in-group/out-group behaviour, by chance? Tons of people enter groups that violate mainstream cultural norms in order to feel like they belong to a community. It is how cults form, it is how subcultures form, it is how new age religions form. Joining a group that 'goes against the mainstream' actually tends to be more indicative of 'sheep-like' behaviour, as it provides a much stronger group identity.

Oh no, we have a sub for women who want to learn about the red pill, so your point is moot. What? What does that even mean? Doesn't change the fact that your subs are displaying the same womanish behaviour that you're pointing out in this post. I'm obviously not going to take your trolling seriously beyond this point I'm trolling for pointing out a logical inconsistency? Okay, princess. (;

So it enforces heavy censorship in response to censorship? How does that even make sense? Wouldn't you want to show opposite behaviour to those whose behaviour you disagree with? Why can't these real men handle a bit of dissent? Seems pretty womanish to me.

I expect nothing less than censorship from female-centric reddits. So you're expecting the female-centric reddits to behave exactly as those in the manosphere do? Why would you point this out if you thought it were anything other than a flaw? The original post wouldn't have been placed here if the OP weren't trying to call out the moderators' behaviour.

Isn't it silly to complain about being banned for dissent when you frequent a sub that does the same thing, to a greater degree?

There are differences, but you follow the red pill, right?

You know, your home base. /r/theredpill. It's a bit silly to bemoan the censorship in /r/askwomen when the 'manosphere' subreddits are just as strict, if not stricter.

Sounds like another sub that you might be familiar with...

Err...doesn't TRP do the same thing? I got banned for nothing more than asking for a source on a claim.

majority of women (analogous to those who don't get in a top school) are gaining emotional intelligence but not enough and not gaining any quality emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence by definition is 'high quality'. It is a collection of interpersonal and introspective skills. When somebody has higher levels of EI, it means that they perform better at these skills. More generally, red pillers find it hard to believe that women emotionally mature (regardless of what science says) becau…

Generally selling unnecessary stuff to women is much easier than to men. Do you have a source for this claim?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
